I hear you and agree, the Fred Jackson and Joe Andressens of the world are out there. More often than not we see the Marcus Muphy or Christian Wade or some wide receiver who did something to make a highlight reel while at WVU or whatever but with no real chance.

I don’t really care about the bottom of the roster. Those guys get churned through on every team to make room for vets, injury replacements, trades, etc.

During the drought I was all about finding the diamond is the rough, but that didn’t typically work out in terms of wins.

You are spot on about the drought.  When you already know that your team is basically a bunch of JAG’s, it’s easy to try and find hope in something new and different, even if it’s a super small chance of being realistic

  2. I remember we hosted the Titans on SNF for the season opener in 2000.  Everyone was all fired up for a “revenge” game which the Bills won by 3 points on their way to an 8-8 season and a 17 year playoff drought.

Point is - Lamar Jackson - using revenge as motivation is lazy and useless.

  3. You know what's enjoyable?  Having a top QB for the first time in forever, and not really caring about where he, or anyone else ranks

Because on any given day - no matter who's on the other sideline, he can put our team on his shoulders and lead us to a championship

  4. I'm on the waiting list - have been for 3 years now and wish I had thought to get seasons a year or two earlier

The PSL is an investment - and as one of the earlier posters said, if you sell 2-3 games worth, you'll get your investment back pretty quickly

Even though the prices are going up, the demand will still be there, and with decreased stadium capacity, it will stay there, even if the team declines

Will the new stadium be better?  In some ways - yes

Will the new stadium be worse?  In other ways - yes

Those who don't like it, can stay home and watch on TV

But I'm 50 years old, and I plan to attend every game I can before I can't any more

  5. I have never rewatched any Bills playoff loss.

Even from an analytical standpoint, there's still too much emotion involved for it to be a worthwhile experience

The only exception I've ever made is the 1989 loss at Cleveland - that was such a wildly entertaining back-and-forth game, and while I still cringe at Ronnie Harmon's alligator arms, I could bear the anguish knowing that we were turning into a juggernaut the next 4 seasons.

So over the last two years Benford's PF grade is 4th, his advanced coverage grade is 6th so they rank him 8th?

Benford is never going to get the hype that the more highly-drafted and/or run their mouth CB's in the league.

Plus, he doesn't get targeted like crazy either, so he's not in position for a ton of INT's

I look at Christian Benford as the Thomas Smith of our generation - flies under the radar, not spectacular, but always super solid
