  1. Speaking of reminiscing, NFLN is playing the ‘93 AFC championship game against the Chiefs.  Thurman had a game for the ages and watching that team, so many things came back to me, the sweetest being what it was like to watch them play and how great it made me feel.  It was really something special.  As, Steve Tasker said in that segment, I wouldn’t trade it in for one win.

Keep contain is his strength?  Idk about that.  He was pretty much the worst run defender ever minus both ravens games

Thanks for the play last night and a few moments here and there but he was signed to a three year $22.5 million contract.

Ninth highest paid player on team.  Injuries aside did he play to that level when healthy?  Was he our ninth best player when out there.  Much cheaper guys out there who could have done what he did (look at his three year stat total):

Hard pass from me.  Just didn’t work out.  That’s life.

Think the money is better spent on trying to keep Daryl Williams (protecting the franchise), Milano or his replacement, better CB opposite White, etc.  Or, if not possible, elsewhere.

watching it. Our Offense is way way better today then that game. So is our Line. Josh is also doing better on pre-snap reads and we are not going to run run pass lol

NFL Network is replaying the game tomorrow, Friday, at 3:00pm EST.

Interesting to try to extrapolate the current team and how they’re playing with last year’s (call me naive but I discount the Indy game because based on my limited expertise, I think they played an “A” in regard to technical proficiency). Would like to hear the opinion of you folks who have the ability to “try” to do that to the best of your ability.

Everyone keeps talking about stopping Lamar but we can't forget that the Ravens are loaded at RB and number 1 in the NFL in rushing.  My prediction is that we need to keep their TDs to a minimum and force them into FGs.  I predict that Josh will have 4 TDs plus Bass with mulitple FGs.  We didn't do so good with field position last week but I feel we will win the field position this week.  My prediction is that we will put up 40+ points and keep them to around 28 - 32 points.

Then the Browns to upset KC for the AFC championship to go through Buffalo!

    Lets Go Buffalo!!!!!

Agree run defense has to step up.  And, we gotta take care of Andrews (TEs killed us last week and they’re not in his league) and it looks like the Ravens are using Brown’s speed better in the passing game—he gets the big cushion and then they dink and dunk with him because he’s so fast any one of those “little” passes can be a game breaker.

Edmunds really needs to make big plays and that money we spent on D-Line has to pay off.

NFL Network has last year’s Bills/Ravens game on right now.

  5. Link to team defensive stats for this year:

    (posted wrong thread first—offense, sorry)

And, I think everyone agrees race should not be an impediment to a career opportunity.  Going out on a limb so as to try to explain this in a non-divisive manner (which is not a popular position of late) but reading in game threads and non-game day threads, we all read and many posted countless threads questioning Frazier’s play calling not his race.  I’d like to assume that people are surprised he’s getting a HC shot based on his performance this year, not his race.  “With peace and love”.  😉
