  1. Great first half (as we’ve had before) but this time I’d like to see us put the game away and not let the Seahawks get back in it.

Know that’s a big ask but it would be a statement game—beating a top notch team (regardless of their defense).  And, they have the QB, Wilson, we waited a round too long on (Buddy should have pulled the trigger in the 3rd).

Could be, but McD has been picking up the check for DiMarco for a few years now, inexplicably...

And let’s remember this was Sean D’s first year and everyone, or most people, are adamant about the “fact” that he ran the show the first year.

I’m not trying to parse words (“bad” v “not good”) or stir up trouble for no reason but since someone started the discussion (and I have a cold beer) and I love this for the humor factor of that horribly ill conceived pass by our offensive genius Daboll, we are really have nothing to do while we wait for tomorrow.

I just like the record to be clear and for credit to go where it should go for a good moves and bad movds. If you don’t wanna say this was and let’s remember this was Sean make these first year and everyone, or most people, will say that he ran the show the first year. I’m not trying to parse words or stir up trouble for no reason but since we are really have nothing to do while we wait for tomorrow, I just like the record to be clear and for credit to go where it should go for a good moves and bad moves. If you don’t wanna say this was a bad signing then you have to at least admit that it wasn’t a good signing and that was before the injury.  We couldn’t afford Juszczyk but that doesn’t excuse the “not good” signing.

And, for anyone who wants to trash me about injuries, I am extremely empathetic to people who suffer from pain and injuries,  please know that I have had multiple spinal surgeries and very likely more spinal

intraventional procedures than most non-athletic related spinal injuries (just wish I wasn’t a law enforcement officer so I could try other “alternative treatments” ☘️—I couldn’t find the right emoji and I could use all the good luck I can get so wet with the clover!).

I would disagree that he was a very bad signing.  Not real good but he served a purpose as a FB and ST players.

It was obvious that the purpose was no longer needed this year.

He served a very expensive purpose when you look at the going rate for full backs.  And, as much as we hate the cursed PFF, here’s a take at their assessment of his effectiveness:

But, at the end of the day he he brought me more joy with that go route than Peterman did. 😉.  Let’s have some fun guys football starts tomorrow, for us!

  4. But it’s OK because he’s from a different spectrum of the political movement. If he was, for example, a conservative actor or actress he’ll be all over the news getting grill but that’s not the narrative they want to tell us and that’s a disgrace.  The fact that this stuff is even news is a sad reflection of the state of our nation and what constitutes journalism and media.

  5. Am I the only one who’s going to say this or who’s thinking this but let’s just call it like it is, the DiMarco signing was a very bad signing.

If it was a Doug Whaley signing, in two years people on this board would be all over it yucking it up, I hope in two years, God willing McBeane are still here (means we’re still doing well, I’m a convert), I hope TBD is fair when we look back at this signing in two years and we’re yucking it up too—gotta be fair and call it what it is (I can’t use any metaphors or jokes or I’d be ostracized by the SJWs).

  6. Question: do we have a RB who we can run the ball and also be trusted to pick up a blitzer when a game winning drive is on the line?  JA will not reach full potential until he can play in the pocket, more safely which will also cut back on those hits he takes down the field tucking the ball and running instead of moving the ball via air to Stefon and our hopefully developing TE corps.

Haven’t been around in a long time so I apologize if this has already been discussed and/or debated to death but I’m a bit nervous about whether our two young RBs have the savvy and know how to handle blocking which we all know is an essential component of a RB’s game.

  7. A lot of factors that people smarter than me can opine one will come into play—what does Daboll do with JA in year three, how does he maximize the skill set Diggs has and I’m VERY interested to see how Diggs handles himself.

A lot of people were so excited to get a WR of his caliber that there seemed to be a lot who excused the way Diggs handled himself with the Vikes.  I’m very concerned with Diggs’ attitude and how that will affect JA if he decides he’s unhappy with the way he’s ultimately used and also how he deals with playing with a young developing QB.

I just don’t get “The Process” (football culture) vibe from Diggs and the tremendous positive impact of that culture in the locker room is a driving force in regard to our success.  I hope my concerns were misplaced 3am cabin fever insomnia!

Sounds like his back is a mess, but the skills, size and aggression are all so appealing that he is well, well worth a flyer at this point. If that strength and wellness team can build him up, he is THE UDFA steal no question.

Sorry late to this party.  Worth the gamble for sure from what I’ve read (no games for me).

I’m not an orthopedic surgeon (“and I don’t play one on TV”) but I’ve had about 13 years of continuous treatment for back pain (started young—38/39).

So, I’ll be rooting for Trey—hope his was problem was “fixed” (think they said it was a bulging disc).  Hoping Trey completely recovers and has a chance to work his way onto the roster to live the dream.

    (Sorry sappy hour—and sans booze!).

They also talked about Fromm for 10 minutes and had a country music performance instead of even MENTIONING the Bills pick. It’s infuriating.

They finally gave some analysis on Davis. What I took away his vertical and High Point. Two things we need assuming JA can get the ball down field with accuracy!
