  1. Hey... I'm sure somebody else said this first so spare me but, why not give Brohm a shot this week against the Chiefs and see what he can do?

...I hope some body at the inner sanctum at One Bills Drive isn't holding up hope for running the table and making the playoffs at 8-8!!!

  2. At the end of regulation, didn't the Bills still have one timeout when they let the clock run down from 26 seconds to attempt a field goal on second down? At least run another play... unless you're worried that they'd go offsides or lose yards like they did on the previous one. If they were willing to throw it, they could've run two plays. I guess they thought that a long Lindell field goal attempt into the wind was money in the bank.

Time management is not a Dick Jauron strong point.

Do we know what that strong point is yet?

  3. Ya know... I'm a financial controller and have learned that like a steak, you get what you pay for with what you choose when hiring peeps.

...With that said I'd think that whomever is a adviser to Uncle Ralph would tell him that spending money on Cower or Shanahan in the long run will grab more $$$ when he passes and whomever he has left the team to cashes in as it will be a more attractive team.

    ...Ughhhh 9/4 and ughhhhh

  4. No way does Kelly step in as a coach. The organization would be crazy to do it. He has zero experience as a coach at any level. Time and family aside, other than sentimental reasons, there is no justification for hiring as a coach.

...Your very correct and sentimental reasons are about all we have. Heck I would have rather had Chan Gailey bought in since he was available but knew $$$ wouldn't let that happen.

  5. Agree. If I were the coach, I'd have the starting offense out there for a half and tell them they had better play like it's their last game. They obviously need the work and more time to evaluate the bottom of the roster is less important at this point IMO. Shows you again how risk averse Jauron is (risk of injury). He'll have the starters sleep walking from now until opening day. Jauron commits himself to mediocrity.

They will be "Bubble Boys" ala Seinfeld..... sigh.

  6. I haven't listened to more than ten minutes total to him in 6 months time. I heard enough of him in the previous 5 or so years since Kornheiser left..........I really miss Mister Tony!

Tony was a great listen on ESPN but didn't play the game for them. I now listen to Dan Patrick every morning (another guy ESPN couldn't get to play the game) from 9-12. He must be killing Coward (who I do find funny, but a company butt kisser) so he has to amp it up! I think me saying that was a something John Clayton had a exclusive on! :worthy:

  7. Bottom line is, he is not the Bills problem. Get over it. What he said is true. He didn't have help. He missed a few blocks and his quarterback was less than average. That certainly didn't help. He can say whatever he wants, just like Bills fans can say what they want. However, just because you say doesn't mean it's true. Bills fans are not paying his salary now, so get on with you perfect lives.
