Manning had Harrison and James. Brady has never played with anyone who compares to those two. Manning needs to learn the lessons that Marino and Elway did. You can't focus on the QB and expect to win the SB. Elway learned it and gave way to the idea that defense and running the ball wins SB's and he has a couple of rings. Marino never learned it and never had a sniff beyond his first year.

I'm would guess that Bill has it written down as Lee Evans, Scrub 2a who played his way out of football, Scrub 2b who can't catch The Bills only chance on offense this Sunday is McGahee followed by more McGahee followed by even more McGahee. If you have to count on Price or Reed then the game will probably be over at that point.

It just comes down to that it doesn't matter. You're not going to win any games with either of them if McGahee goes out for any prolonged length of time.

Couldn't think of anything to write

Since I do not have time to read all the football writers there are across the country I didn't feel comfortable calling him the best. There may guy in Utah or Idaho who is the best and I wouldn't know it. I will say he is better then anyone who writes or broadcasts here in WNY. At least since the Courrier Express went out of business. On a national level he is as good as any of the national guys. I also like listening to him on WGR. I don't always agree with his opinions but I do respect his NFL knowledge and how he presents himself.

You guys are funny. You believe that Peter King has nothing better to do then pine about the Bills starting QB? I guess having a drooling idiot like Larry Felser spoon feeding you what you want to hear makes you happy. Or warped your senses. Peter King is as solid a football writer as there is. Considering he has actually talks to players and coaches around the league. I would say it gives him a ton more credibility then sports fans around here are used to.

I guess that means that there aren't any practice squad players who have done anything. The only reason I asked is that a lot of posters have mentioned the practice squad when predicting the Bills roster. I couldn't care less about the practice squad. For that matter. I would like to see the Bills do all their final cuts today and spend the next two weeks getting ready for the Pats. Since it doesn't seem to matter who's at the bottom of the roster anyway.

I was looking for a player with a bit more to his resume. Has any player made a Pro-Bowl? Led the league in anything? I'll even take a 'Player of the Week'

Has any player jumped from the 'Practice Squad' to do anything in the NFL? Who would be your 'All Practive Squad Team'? Just wondering.

What's not to understand? A fan should base his opinions on the information at hand. All of the information not just a piece here and there. As you will see with most Levy apologists who will pick out one point of what they consider a "negative" post and focus on it. For example. The following events have occured since last year. 1) The Bills fired their GM and hired a figure head who does none of the duties of a NFL GM. 2) The faux GM's first choice as coach quits after one week. They replace him with the cheapest option. 3) The Bills were not big players in free agency. They signed a bunch of third and fourth tier free agents with the hopes a couple would stick. 4) They will have a different O-Line which some claim will be better then last years. Last years being the worst in franchise history. So you have to take "better" with a grain of salt. 5) They pass on some quality QB prospects and some monsters on the lines to reach for a safety. Whitner may turn out to be a solid pick. With the 8th pick you should get a game breaker. 6) This preseason looks a lot like the previous preseasons. Weak line play. Dumb penalties that take points of the board. Average QB play. Each of these things alone are not season breakers. When you combine all of them you should understand where many fans draw their conclusions from.
