  1. I could care less about Peters at this point, since he does not play for the Bills anymore. I do wonder what Cowboy's fans said when they traded Herchel Walker though. Granted they got 400 1st round picks for him, but I think they managed ok without one of their top players.
  2. Pittsburgh is already a mediocre team, plus they have a new HC.
  3. Least fav - Eddie Robinson fav - Ralph Wilson
  4. just looking for any other info or updates on clements.
  5. In addition, if I may, Culpepper has proven to be a poor QB under pressure. In 2002 (after the prior exits of Christy, McDaniel and then Corey Stringer?? ) he struggled with 18 TD's, 23 INT's, and 23 fumbles. Enter Matt Birk, McKinney and others and he did good again. 2005 Birk goes down and again Culpepper (in 7 games) throws 6 TD's, 12 INT's, and 7 fumbles. If the Dolphins truely have a poor line, I don't think they really upgraded at QB.
  6. Maybe they should ask Lee Evans (and the other receivers) their opinions on JP and Kelly. Pretty sure they would say JP gives them a better chance. On the flip, the rbs probably want Kelly so they can get a 100 receptions this year. It may be a matter of which qb will get them the best stats/fatter contract by the end of the year...if Peter Kings vomit is true at all.
  7. Must mean Charlie Clemons. He's a solid LB and cleary is top tier talent like McGinnis.
  8. Even you said that JP struggled a little bit in the 11-11 drills and the slim edge went to Kelly Machine Gun Holcomb, but is there some obvious tell tales that showed JP is not getting "it" with everyone on the field (as the other onlooker mentioned)?
  9. BB site has photo but the link to first full pad practice is linked to Nall injury.
  10. Looks like fun in spite of the weather. Shocking that Holcomb was throwing a quick out.
  11. Feel bad for him, but at least we didn't break the bank in getting him.
  12. So I messed up my first post. Mike Williams happens. Anyway. Vikes won 6 out of the 9 games when Fowler started (1-2 with big dumb and 5-1 with giraffe neck). Star Trib had this to say about him. ASSETS: Has quick feet, good initial quickness, and sound technique. Good pass protector on the interior. FLAWS: Limited overall strength. Won't bowl defenders over. Doesn't pull very well and doesn't always get proper leverage. CAREER POTENTIAL: Solid backup.
  13. FWIW. I watched him play in some of the Vikes games last year (I live in MN), and he didn't dominate and didn't stink. He was just there. However, MN's line was pretty poor as well in the middle (hence Hutch signing) so I think it is tough to judge him when he was surronded by poorness. Another wait till the season starts signing by Marv. Let's hope for the best.
  14. I am new to TSW (obvious), but why is this board enamered with Stephen Neal and think he is better than Wells. 1. He is another cast off from NE (See Bledsoe, Milloy for info) 2. He is an undrafted player (doesn't mean much, ie Peters) 3. He didn't play a game last year. (See ESPN player log) 4. He didn't play a game last year backing up 3 young NE linemen. I might have the wrong Neal, but if not can you give me some feedback on why you think this guy is good?
