  1. I could also see if somehow D'Brick falls to us in the first round that we go one of the DT in the second, this is assuming that Gandy could move inside to G, meaning Bennie is still gone.
  2. The only thing I don't like about that is we do not pick up a DT early on. Granted, I know nothing about Oshinowo, but can he fight for (and potentially win) a starting DT job?
  3. The one image that keeps coming to mind when thinking about Bush deciding on something is the Family Guy episode when he is up in the tree house saying "Don't make me do stuff". From a Fox show nonetheless...
  4. Backindaday, not that I necessarily agree with you, but I do understand where you are coming from. It hurts a lot to see something you have built from the beginning no longer recognize you as important, and it does take away a lot of the passion and competitiveness. Keep posting.
  5. Two problems with this article. One, Peters filled in at Right tackle, not left when Williams went down. Two, why would the bills trade Losman, take a cap hit, and not get anything of worth in return instead of keeping him on the roster and seeing if he improves during camp/the season? mutter mutter
  6. I agree with you rtconner, that is looking very plausible right now, and certainly would fill some glaring holes.
  7. I thought a major part of the deal that was being mentioned is that Moulds would be used to replace Walker on Green Bay. Just trading a 4th to them in no way addresses their need if Walker left. If it is Walker for just a 4th, then barring a bad physical, you absolutely go for it (and that is why it doesn't make a lot of sense from GB's perspective)
  8. BillsFanForever19, you have me a bit confused. Are you suggesting that we trade moulds to a team other than GB, and then just send a 5th to GB for Walker? I would think that GB was asking for a 5th rounder on top of moulds to replace the receiver they would be losing, and if Eric goes to a different team (like the Texans), how does that work?
  9. Would "If I had a Million Dollars" work as a song for Clements?
  10. Well, in most of the rest of the world, soccer is called football......so the post is very appropriate here
  11. LETS GO ORANGE!
  12. "Davis meanwhile was impressed with the Bills organization and said that quarterback Kelly Holcomb was a big reason Buffalo was his first stop. Davis is discussing the club's offer with his wife, but added he has no other visits planned." I wonder if that statement will have any effect on the quarterback battle and/or his signing?
  13. Syracuse is on an incredible run right now. They are playing their hearts out I think partially to make sure McNamara doesn't go out on a low note. I don't know how a lot of people keep saying he is overrated, he is literally carrying this team right now, if not with his play, then certainly with his desire and heart.
  14. Completely agree. I envy you guys who have been here for awhile and can say this without getting ripped on.......someday........
  15. You're right, he's not. The SS in a Cover-2 has to play more like a FS than a LB. The Titans employ the modified 46 scheme and drafted Williams as a SS who plays a lot of run support. Lawyer Milloy is that type of SS too, which is probably one of the reasons why the Patriots and then Bills released him. Coy Wire was drafted by the Bills as a SS because he played LB in college. I don't see how Wire fits into the Bills defense either, especially since he's failed to distinguish himself on D so far. 620547[/snapback] If that is the case, is there any chance we already have our second safety in Rashad Baker, who if I remember correctly played well last year?
  16. wow joe, I don't even get a smile face or anything? No, I am not friends with any actors in hollywood (don't know them, don't really care to) and yes they are overpaid too. The police, military, fireman, etc. are all in the same group as teachers, and should make just as much if not more than football players. I am not whining, and I did not attack you or your views in anyway, so a little respect might be nice. Now, if there was meant to be a smile or something in your message, please ignore all of this.
  17. Joe, I am not a democrat, but a liberal leaning independent FaninChicago, I can live with reaching the same conclusion, and while I agree socialism in the NFL is never going to happen, I can deal with that, simply move the payscale down and instead of paying 20 million contracts, pay 2 million contracts. I realize these guys don't have a long time to play, but the idea that they will make more money in 4-5 years playing a game as I will in my entire life performing a much more important service (arrogant me) as a teacher is revolting, and that they aren't happy with what they make anyways. O well, it is the American way..... And thanks for the welcome.
  18. OK, well, I am going to make this my first post (everyone should feel very lucky right now ) I have been watching the boards for a couple of years, and have been a bills fan since before I remember (which isn't all that long ago) I have always been of the opinion, when talking to friends and such, that everyone in the NFL (Quaterback to kicker and everyone inbetween) should make something like 2 mil. a year, and all the rest of their salary should be given to charity, or education, or social security, or....... There is no way a person who catches a football for a living should make more than a teacher or a doctor. When I see someone gripping about not taking a paycut to help out their team, I dunno, the screw them response is the first thing on my mind. I apologize for any sense that made its way into that statement, and nice to be a member.
