  1. What's wrong? Don't like having Nate Clement's replacement on the team?
  2. Great pick. He was predicted to go into the first round.
  3. ESPN compared him to Eugene Wilson, of the Pats.
  4. I wish Jerry Gray luck in his future career. Just didn't work out too well here, even though we had the top D for two years. But part of that credit has to be given to Dick Lebeau.
  5. I saw that also. It'll be interesting to see how Marv handles this.
  6. Randy Cross, never listen to him much after I heard this quote from him. "Buffalo is one of the least blitzing teams in the league." He said this during the Chiefs game.
  7. This is the perfect opportunity if the tag is at 5M or so. We have to act now. What if we tag him this year, we pay him the 5M, and the tag goes up to 8.8M again next year? Then we're in a lose-lose situation. Either lock him up, or trade him.
  8. Nate is still a top corner. He has one bad year, and you throw him under the bus? What about the 4 other good years he provided to us? Does that mean nothing now? You have to at least look into locking him up.
  9. First of all, Kelly wasn't Levy's pick. Second of all, Jim Kelly kicked and screamed his way to Buffalo. He said before the 1983 Draft that this is one of the cities he wouldn't want to go to. Sure we got Jim Kelly in here, but we had to force him to be here. And that's just because the USFL closed, and we still owned his rights.
  10. No, I don't mean Jauron and Polian. I mean Levy and Polian. I don't think Polian would steer Marv wrong, would he?
  11. If McGahee starts demanding more money after this season then Marv could look into a trade. He doesn't like players like this, with little or no character. Either Willis shapes up his act, or he's out of here. Not too fond those U players.
  12. If those numbers are true... 1. See if you can possibly lock him up long-term. 2. Trade him to a team in need of a CB We are in trouble if those 2 both don't happen. I don't think that will be the case, though.
  13. Home Dolphins - W Jets - W Pats - L Jags - L Packers - W Titans - W Vikings - L Chargers - L Away Dolphins - L Jets - L Pats - L Bears - L Colts - L Lions - W Texans - W Ravens - L 6-10, as of now. This will probably change through draft/FA, as it should.
  14. We should probably add S on there. I don't know if Vincent will be a Bill for 2006. There are some safeties in the draft that would fit the bill.
  15. It depends how draft day goes. If AJ Hawk is there, he could fit right next to Fletcher in the 3-4. If Ngata is there, he would fit next to Adams in the 4-3. I'm partial to the 3-4, however. I think it gives the defense a lot of flexibility.
  16. It doesn't matter who we draft in the first round, if we don't have an O-Line. No O-Line = no success. Cutler, Losman, Holcomb will all fail if we do not fix this problem.
  17. Jim Bates doesn't really have a choice. It's accept the Bills offer, or stay home the whole year. He's not fit to accept a television role, not his style.
  18. Not a surprise that Polian recommended Jauron to us. They remain closest friends, even to this day.
