Would you rather? (A super hypothetical)
H2o replied to whatdrought's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I remember all 4, with the last 3 all being pretty ugly. I'll take a loss in the AFC Title game over getting blown out in the SB any day. -
Yeah, the NFL should have to make their walk of atonement

I think the age demographic here will be the determining factor in this poll. Fans who never dealt with the 4 consecutive SB losses will pick the SB, while the ones who clearly remember the early 90's would rather lose in the AFC Title game in a competitive fashion. -
If there ever was a call that should have been overturned it was the non-PI call where Hopkins got mugged the other week. The NFL and Riveron are a joke.

I'm more worried about Watt, Fitzpatrick, and that defense than I was worried about whatever QB was playing.

Yes, this has been established my friend. Thanks. I had read reports initially that he had pulled it bad.

Not comparing the two, just thought Foster was going to be out for an extended period.

Oh, well dang. They made it sound like it was worst than the first hamstring injury a couple of days ago.

https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/11/26/vikings-cut-josh-doctson/ He was just cut by the Vikings. He's had an injury history, but was an extremely productive college player. With Foster probably out for the rest of the year I wouldn't mind bringing him in for a look.

I think the Ramsey trade was a short-sighted mistake as well. They have surely stunted the growth of their team by the fact they don't have those picks. Beane wasn't here for the 2017 draft, it was Whaley and McDermott. The following year Beane and McDermott got their QB. They didn't trade back for a DB, they traded back for a future 1st Round pick and they happened to select White at the position they traded back to which was #27. I'd say #27 has certainly lived up to his draft position and then some.

I remember a lot of people on here praising the Rams for their approach. Trade your picks, go all in now, blah, blah, blah. Now the flaw in that is being exposed. Yes, they had a couple year run, but they have been irresponsible with their cap and have stunted their growth in the future with the lack of day 1 and even day 2 picks. They gave us a 2nd for Watkins and let him walk. Now they gave up two 1st's and a 4th for a guy who holds all the leverage at the end of this year. If they were smart they would have kept Peters and Talib, rode out the season, and would have had much more flexibility while still retaining those high end picks. Some FO's are so short sighted that they make rash decisions and the Rams are the epitome of buyer's remorse at the moment.

Good for Karlos. Hope he works hard and earns himself another shot. He was pretty dynamic for us in his rookie season.

I think Goff's decline this year can be largely attributed to the decline of Todd Gurley. When you go from having an elite RB to a guy who is now pretty average due to the deterioration of his knee it makes a huge difference imo. Teams were never really scared of Goff, but they were scared of Gurley. Now that the running game is less effective Goff isn't showing he can carry the team with his arm.

Darnold likes to party after a big win
H2o replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Now all we need is for Darnold to see a ghost, take off running, and fumble the ball when he slams into his own offensive lineman's rear end. -
[Incomplete Title] Did Corey Liuget have any snaps in
H2o replied to FLBillsGuy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
And Dak's has been known to be suspect at times once he gets rattled back there. Hopefully they hit him hard a few times at least in the first series then he's thinking about it all game. -
McVay was Andre the Giant at one point, but the NFL has turned into Hulk Hogan

I want to see how Shaq looks against them as well. He has been much better this year overall and this could be a statement game for him. -
I CAN'T WAIT til the Ravens come to Buffalo
H2o replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Ravens have the best group of TE's in the NFL right now with Andrews, Hurst, and Boyle. They also have Snead who has turned into a pretty solid possession type WR, with Boykin having a 6'4" frame to go along with 4.4 speed, and Brown who is like their version of Tyreke Hill. On top of that they have Mark Ingram, who is in the midst of the best year of his career, and Gus Edwards backing him up. At the helm they have the most electric athlete in the game right now in Jackson and Roman calling nearly a flawless game at the moment. The defense is also starting to hit their stride and have moved up to #11 in the NFL while having the #2 offense. The key against Baltimore will be to stop the run, which we have shown susceptibility to this year, and force Jackson to throw outside the hashes like Gunner said. I don't believe there is any team remaining on the schedule that we cannot beat. Will it take a complete game? Absolutely, but we can win every one. -
Go on the record: The concern-o-meter!

"Joined" the board on November 15? Hmmmmm -
I would like to see Duke get some more opportunities, but Foster was the speed guy who ran fly routes, deep posts, and deep crossing patterns. That is probably more McKenzie or Roberts at this point.

Is Offense Better and Defense Worse Than We Think?

Take it up with McDermott, that seems to be his style. No offense taken here brother -

McD is never going to be the type of coach that goes out to embarrass another team or their staff. If he feels the game is in hand, which it clearly was by Denver's lack to generate basically anything, then he is going to grind out the clock. I also think that yesterday they made it a goal to get Frank the touches he needed to become the NFL's 3rd all time leading rusher during the home game. Once Frank got close they were giving him the rock until it happened. If that makes you triggered then you might want to seek professional help for the necessary assistance.
