Lynch + 3rd or 4th for another 2nd rounder. The Bills could get three starters in the first 2 rounds. That would be incredible!
DT and OLB/DE. That's building the trenches. There's still depth in LT next round.

Look at this CJ Spiller clip...not only is it amazing, but look at how freaking fast Jacoby Ford (#6) is in this clip...
I can't believe people are comparing him to Reggie Bush. That tells you how idiotic their passion is against anything the Bills do. What that link. How he barreled through those tacklers.
Here's another one where he goes barreling through some more tacklers. My only concern is, he is such a hard runner, I hope he doesn't get hurt.

Come on Mount Cody!
Yes, that is totally who I would pick. Get him in there to clog the middle. Makes everyone else better. Although, a speed rusher could make even Aaron Maybin better - on the other side.

Mel Kiper. He's so good. He liked Claussen better than Stafford.
What a joke.

We have our first round QB. Brian Brohm, our savior.

Sergio Kindle
Ricky Sapp
Everson Griffen

OT, DT or one of these guys?

nice. a mile closer.
I love it!

When you're Buffalo, you can't get everything all in a decade, either. You know what would be awesome? If we drafted a DB in the 2nd. That would be sweet.

WOW, Tebow in front of Claussen! That says something about Claussen and our "talent evaluators" here.

What's the point? Prioritizing RB in the NFL of 2010 is a backward mentality. RB's aren't winning games for any team in the entire league. Heck, Chris Johnson runs for 2k yards and the team started off 0-8 last season.
Peterson puts up huge numbers, but his team's couldn't get past the first round of the playoffs until Favre showed up and made Sidney Rice a player.
Who else? Pittsburgh won a SB with a below-average running game in 2008. Indianapolis and New Orleans went to the SB with below average to average running games.
Supporting the Spiller pick is like saying Gailey can re-invent offenses in direct contrast with the nearly the rest of the NFL. And he doesn't have an OL either.
But the Bills cannot get a talent at QB that would make that kind of difference this year. Unfortunately they are rebuilding yet again this year. You can't get everything all at once, even if they traded back and got picks. They have to start somewhere, and while RB isn't as big as QB, at least now we have a kid with tremendous talent to build on.
-
We did have them.
Idiots
I guess whoever wanted them that high were idiots.
-
Steelers draft OL? Shocked that a top-notch franchise would focus on the line.
They have the right and team to reach.
-
Their fall validates the Bills passing on them. Arguably whether they should have taken LT Davis will need to be borne-out by how he plays, but the way he conducted himself these past few months was pretty poor.
Great point!

Adrian Peterson didn't win a playoff game till they got a QB in there.
Johnson hasn't done anything in the playoffs either.
They're not "wrong" picks because both teams were in far better shape than the Bills when they picked them. But the idea that you need a superstar RB to win a super bowl is OLD SCHOOL THINKING. You don't. In fact, recent history shows you can get equal production (if not more) by using a RB by committe approach with lesser paid players.
That's the whole !@#$ing point.
What QB was there to pick that would have come in and bring this team to the playoffs? The only one available is a molester, that would have cost a few picks.
-
Yeah. Fisher also already had an OL, DL and what he believed to be their franchise QB in place.
Not a good example. Sorry.
Terrible example. They were far from having a QB. Vince Young started as their 3rd stringer this year. They're line looked great because Chris Johnson was incredible.

What's with Baluga falling so far?

Will Terrence Cody fall to the Bills?

highlights on youtube
He is sick. Everyone looks like they are in slow motion. Stop comparing him to Reggie Bush. Stop insulting this kid. He's fast, has great hands, and teams will have to plan around him.
It's been a long time since the Bills had anyone that scared anyone.
-
This is the NEW and better front office. Although he wasn't a position of need right now, he was the best and MOST IMPACT player left in the draft. Once cannot complain that they reached with this pick. Now picking Anthony Davis right there...that was reaching.
The Bills have reached for so many players over the last few years. Now we have someone that can make an impact THIS YEAR! They'll figure out what to do with Marshawn or Jackson. But Spiller is a stud now. Not later.
-
Didn't big ol Mike Williams have the same grades and concerns as Trent Williams? We can't make that same mistake. That pick set us back for a decade (still paying for it now).
-
That would be a dream draft!
-
has he ever been right regarding the bills?
Any chance the new regime thinks Bell is the answer at LT?

I remember reading how D. Bell projected to be a good project along the lines of Jason Peters, with some smarts.
