our d has been in pretty tough so far. that really was a bad fumble timing wise. god if we had come down and scored it would have just changed the whole thing.

we are pretty terrible on O. that 1st down loss run and the two screens that followed, the D knew the entire time, even went offside momentarily on the run.

trent has sht the bed the past 3 weeks, but we really do need to get some running game going. losing the middle of our line isn't helping any.

minni's great o and d lines and run heavy play calling haven't gotten them jack. we have (for the most part, turnovers aside) solid qb play and decent pass blocking and WRs. our D has held up well except for the horrible zona game, our special teams have been muted but are still strong. if we are stingy with the ball, kick FGs in the redzone, and don't turn it over we are 7-1. that's exactly the position our gm and coaching has put us in. small mistakes lead to big losses.

anybody who doesn't this, or harps on about other minor details clearly doesn't understand the game.

nah. all of these Our X is Y bad, our A is B terrible posts are essentially saying we could use better players. no sheet. everyone could. we could use the good players we have (2 oline, 1 Dline, 1 CB) who are hurt right now. the bottom line is we have to win with the teeam we have. the question is "Can we?". the answer is yes, but we can't lose the ball like we have. we have to go for zero result plays (run for it, throw the ball away) rather than negative plays (sacks, turnvoers). it's that simple, great teams get beaten when they turn the ball over. that's our weakness and that's what cost us our 2 division losses.
