Is Witherspoon a good LB? And Jones won't help the Redskins.

Who said anything about making Thomas play better?
The example is meant for the other Pats players who might question the Pats way.
That makes more sense.
And I didn't realize that Thomas will have pocketed $24M at the end of this season from the Patriots.
-
The issue with Thomas is he was outspoken about his dissatisfaction with the trading of Seymour. Problem is Thomas isn't in position to be making such complaints. Especially not publicly as he did. So, he's being punished now by BB during a time in the schedule where its most convenient.
Yes, because making an example of him is a great way to get him to play better than he has the past 2 years.
-
It does look like they're doing something, based on all the moves they've made in the last 24 hours ... but I don't think it's for Roscoe.
Speculation is that it's for Shawne Merriman. And Adalius Thomas is rumored to be part of the trade.
-
Yeah, Thomas has been a pretty big disappointment for the Pats the past 2 seasons.
-
I do believe he and Parker are now demanding a 'stance' bonus every time he lines up at the LOS, and is holding out until the Eagles agree.
More like a "will play hurt" bonus. I can't believe he said that he'd "have" to go in if Dunlap wasn't healthy.
-
I saw the highlight of the sack/concussion on Trent and didn't notice Bell doing anything but holding-off his man, while Fine whiffs on his block of Pace and Harris comes bearing down. Maybe it was after the play was (essentially) over.
And interesting to hear the commentary from Sanders and Mariucci saying Evans has been open all year.

There is no contradiction at all. The Packers OL has been struggling. Look it up. They did like him. They drafted him and they signed him to their practice squad. The Bills made a claim for him and the Packers decided they did not like him enough to put him on the regular roster. The contradiction is that Meredith was highly coveted by dozens of NFL teams and the Bills pulled some "extraordinary piece of front office work" to acquire him.
Who cares what the Packers think of Meredith? Are they infallible when it comes to OL decisions?

You know who else is licking their chops? Jairus Byrd. Delhomme should be good for 4-5 INTs on Sunday.
-
nope, not in that case. I have watched it 20 times and not once does it look like a catch. No control until out of bounds, but nice try.
That's your (wrong) opinion. But you're entitled to it.
-
He sucks and the Bills' offense would be great without him. And that 5th rounder in return would be a great trade.
-
nope....switching it to the other hand is not control when trying to catch a football, when you are done doing that, you are out of bounds.
Wrong. He was in full control of the ball. The issue is whether the ball was not under his control, and it was, the entire time.
-
Trade Lynch. Trade Owens and get Garcia? LOL!
-
Yeah, they sure looked horrible huh. Sanchez is looking like a rookie QB these days.
Teams have game film on him now.
-
Fitz should have been starting since midway through the Miami game. If that happened, the Bills would be 3-3 right now. Now I don't think he's the future, but he's the best we have at present.
-
He didn't "bobble" the ball. He tried to transfer/secure it with his left hand.
-
You a bonehead?
-
"Just don't give it to 'em."
But hey they won, without a disputed call.
-
I hope Trent is given a nice long recovery period, and we can see what Fitz can do with a full week to prepare and practice as the starter.
-
IMagine if we had a coach and a team???
I'd settle for a QB.
-
No matter what Fitz does in this game, it is not fair to judge him. The guy hasn't taken a meaningful snap since last season. So, let's give him a week to practice and we'll see what happens.
I still think he will be bad, but can be no worse than Trent has been....
Give Trent a nice amount of time to rest up.
-
First Jenkins and now Harris? That's pretty bad for the Jets.
-
They just want Brady to get a record for most TDs. Make the Patriots look better.
Or somehow erases the cheating by videotaping or HGH'ing.
-
we should all be rooting for the raiders because I DO NOT WANT THE PATS TO HAVE THE #1 OVERALL PICK...
The Patriots get the Raiders' 1st pick in 2011.

LOL! I saw VB on TV the other day and turned to my wife and said "you know how they say spouses end up looking like eachother? Well she still looks like Eddie!"
