  1. I think you're right.. It really depends on the coaches putting them into the best position to win. I think Chan gives them an edge. IMHO he beleives in players on both sides of the ball. Right or wrong it seems to have rubbed off on the team. I'm not sold on him yet but I appreciate what I see so far. We'll see what happens when the games mean something.

I really believe this team has more talent than people think.

  2. I have to admit.... I'm not a huge Trent fan but I thought he looked pretty decent in the first half.(that is all I watched) Spiller was staring to scare me a bit but he figured it out. I am optimistic of this season. I think our Bills may show some promise...

:w00t: cincy shut him down on the first series or so but after starting off for -16 yards on 3 carries he started hitting his stride.and trent didnt do too bad either, sensing the pressure for a change GO BILLS GO

  3. Ahmen to that.. not sure about the Canadians but there are thousands of people that come here legally and illeagally to make a better life for themselves. The reason they hate us over seas is because we are the land of opportunity wether we're broke or not.. If you're here legally you are bestowed certain inaliable rights that were written in a couple of documents a couple hundred years ago. Jealousy is an ugly monster...

Maybe our debt wouldn't be so high if Canadians and Mexicans weren't illegally entering our country by the millions so they can get jobs, medical care, education and in the case of the Canadians, dental work.
  4. This is exactly why I put the discaimer in there. If you can't read it and see a tiny bit of humor then my sense of humor is lost on you. Was it stupid? Yep.. Did it use childish toilet humor? Yep.. I was simply making light of the the fact the JETS have invaded my territory and I happened to see Rex Ryan in the parking lot of a pretty good food joint in Cortland. In which by the way he parked sideways in front of the dumpster. Thats all. So it was a half assed attempt to be funny and for some or most it didn't work. I will try again and maybe fail, maybe not... But I had fun writing it and at least 1 person thought it was funny.

I appreciate you're feedback and I will file it away for the next time. Jeeez what happened to this place. You used to be able to poke fun at division rivals. Even if it wasn't too funny man. people were still on your side....

+1 It's stunning to me how hard some people can try to be funny and actually think they are funny, when in reality it is some of the dumbest, mind numbing drivel you will ever hear. It takes a modicum of intelligence to even be mildly funny, and this guy can't even come up with slightly amusing.

  5. Rex Ryan eats Mexican food and parks sideways in front of dumpster in Cortland NY..

    Saturday August 7, 2010

Rex Ryan boisterous head coach of the NY Jets was seen this evening at a local favorite. Garcias Mexican Restaurant in Cortland NY home of the Jets training camp and rediculously high taxes.

Coach Ryan and his group were seen exiting a 2009 White Pearl Ford Expediton which he parked sideways infront of a dumpster. The "man" as some would call him, walked with a chip on his shoulders dressed in the finest head coach ware consiting of a t-shirt, shorts and sneakers.

When asked why he double parked in front of a dumpster the "man" replied "It is representative of our upcoming season" He continued " if you don't block the the defence. you're taken out with the trash" When asked if that was a shot at his teams poor blocking during the green and white scrimmage he stated " If the garbage truck was there we would Just End The Season.

When the coach was asked what his chances were for a ring this year he replied " The only ring I will get is ring around the toilet bowl from the 3 burro calsonetta's I'm gonna eat"

One final question for the coach.. What are your plans for the running back situation in NJ this season?

" Running Back? Running Back? The only running back I'm thinkin about is running back to the toilet after this meal"

There ya have it folks.. Straight from the horses(ass) mouth.... Sort of... OK not really!

Disclaimer for those that have no sense of humor: This is entirely ficticious execpt for the part about Rex Ryan eating at a popular Mexican joint in Cortland and parking sideways in front of the dumpster.

  6. Yeah because Sheftner has been right on throughout this whole process...... If there's anything I've learned is that NFL Network and ESPN reporters don't have the inside info they are hyped to have. Basically they suck..

No argument from me.. Truth is nobody knows what is happening with the search except the boys at 1 Bills drive and they aint talkin. Anything the talking heads say is pure speculation and sometimes they happen to be right. Thay have also been know to be wrong as well.

  7. Do we even know if they are requesting interveiws?? All the "reports" say so but i discredit everything the ESP....N fellows say now.

Bills brass needs to stand up adn tell us waht the H is going on, people are gona star rioting and throwing sticks at RWS adn sleeping in the parking lot if they keep this up... Hmm maybe that is what they want...

That is exactly what they want. Then they can charge 20 bucks a car load. They gotta keep the lights on some how.

  8. Brandon needs to go back to the promotions department. It is beyond obvious the Bills need a real GM, a whole new front office, an entirely new coaching staff and an entirely new roster of players. RW should fire everyone and cut the entire team tonight and show up for work by himself and start all over tomorrow. I am not joking.

I wouldn't feel so bad going 1 and 15 if that happened....

  9. I was going to post something similar. McDaniels looked like he was coaching a friggin playoff game. The guy just didn't care about what his players or coaches though. I think he made it very clear that nothing short of a win would do. Good job Josh and his Broncos. (did I really just say that) DJ on the other hand.... Was he even freaking there? the entire team looked awful... The penalties???? WTF?????

  10. They played good football on the road against a tough team and they lost. It's Football. I was entertained! <_<

It was indeed a good game. I think Bobby April will be eating sh@t tomorrow for allowing Leodis to run that out like that. Take a knee and move on from the 20.... WTF?????

  11. Do you honestly expect anyone to believe the above when you've selected a pink tampon box labeled "poise" as your avatar?

Awww come on..... That was put up last season when "Poise" was the big buzz word at TBD. I forgot to change it... But still I like Trent.. The guy's got game... But so does QB 2 they are just different.

  12. Yes I do think Trent would have done better.

The other thing is that I don't accept the notion that...we would have lost anyways.

Because it's not just that we lost it's how we lost.

With Losman only putting up 17 it tells me that with him in there we are toast.

Set this game's score aside as far as it being winable or not, Losman's performance is what is bothersome.

This game demonstrates to me that if it comes down to him at QB we are done.

He really cannnot seem to put up points against anyone.

I think you can place part of the blame on the coaching staff for that and part on JP. Here are a couple points to back that up. I won't take the time to dig up links but they are out there.

    1. JP came off the bench cold after not seeing any time in an NFL game since week 12 last season. (Dickey J even admitted this one)

    2. JP is not getting much if any work in practice with the first team O. ( I believe Turk stated this in an interview)

    3. The coaching staff made no adjustments to either side of the ball. This why I don't think Trent would have done any better. I am in no way slamming him or trying to push a JP agenda. There are just too many variables out there to say that JP didn't do well.

    4. JP's stats are actually pretty good. 15 for 21 for 220yds 1 passing TD and 1 rushing TD. He was picked once and had a lost fumble. QB rating of 101.3

If JP gets the nod over Trent for the SD game we will see what a week and a half of practice with the first team does. If he puts up a stinker there assuming he play's then you have a bit more leverage to say he stinks...

  13. Noooooo not versus 24 against the worst defense.

    HERE

    Week 1; 24 (7 on a return)

    Week 2: 20

    Week 3: 24

    week 4: 24 (7 on a return)

The 2nd year Qb put up at least 20 in 4 straight games.

The 5th year QB put up 17.

Now how hard is that to figure out?

Do you realize how much difference there is in win/loss % between 17 and 24 in the NFL?

Do you honestly feel Trent would have done any better? I don't. There is no way we were beating that Cardinals defense regardless of who was under center. When you are down by 2 possessions and your defense couldn't stop a shopping cart with a bulldozer that's where your problem lies. QB 2 didn't have a great game but QB 1 wasn't going to have a great game either. The O-line lost in the trenches and the D just gave up too many points with no adjustments by the coaching staff. You could have had a healthy Tom Brady under center and we still would have lost.......

  14. Hey, don't lump me in with that group ... I've always supported the guy, but his circumstances have changed ... doesn't mean he shouldn't prepare as if he is going to play. Not saying it's easy, but it's part of the deal.

Right but nobody really knows if he is or is not preparing. He could be doing self study or working with one of the coaches. Things are not always as they appear.

  15. We all know he is no JP in the arm strength arena and frankly there are not many NFL QB's with arms like that. Trent has the ability to send a shot down the field as was proven this past Sunday. If you are throwing over 40yds it seems like a desperation move anyway. You saw that on Sunday as well. The Rams came out and sent a strike down field on the first play and it was out of desperation. They were desperate for a win and it showed. Trent serves us better with the 5-20 yd move the chains pass variety and he can go 40 pretty easily it seemed. Anything over that and it's a gamble 50-50 chance it will work.
