  1. Because it's the Bills...everything is a military secret! Schefter is rarely wrong, so we shall see.
  2. As per Adam Schefter of the NFL network and reported on GR55.
  3. This team SUCKS!"...to the point where I can't even watch them anymore = Bad Football. Dick Jauron and his staff must go! To think that they passed up a franchise QB like Jay Cutler, a DT like Haloti Ngata and they could have had LB Patrick Willis if they moved up 2 spots in the 07 Draft ....PLAYMAKERS...win games! The Bills have ruined my football Sundays, oh well at least the Sabres are on tonight.
  4. LOL....LOL...LOL...LOL!!! This team is one of the worst teams in the league right now
  5. Sully doesn't candy-coat, he tells it like it is. The eye in the sky don't lie.
  6. I never said he's afraid of getting hit I'm beginning to think that he's not nearly as good as everybody made him out to be when the Bills started off 4-0.
  7. Remember the Chargers didn't sack Edwards at all that game...in fact he was barely touched in that game. Since then he's been hit and pounded numerous times which could have started the effects all over again.
  8. Just a hunch on my part. He's clearly not the same QB that he was before the injury.
  9. And I thought I was bad last night when the wife threw my pillow down the stairs in the family room after my tirade last night.
  10. Agree! In fact he's been less than mediocre as of late.
  11. I'm not saying that Lynch and Jackson aren't good enough or aren't playmakers...what I'm saying is they don't scare anyone...mediocre players make a mediocre team! I'm sick of the Bills hovering around 8-8 every year. I want MORE!
  12. Five yards here and a five yards there...I like em both...but did we win last night?
  13. The reason the Bills continue to be a mediocre team is that they lack playmakers on both sides of the ball. Lee Evans is a playmaker but the Bills don't get him the ball We need a STUD TE Another reliable receiver, and a HB that has 4.3 speed to take it to the house everytime he touches the ball wouldn't the Titans Chris Johnson look good in a Bills uniform right now? On the defensive side we need a reliable DE that flies off the edge and records double digit sacks year in and year out. A playmaker at the LB position (inside or out) A shutdown CB that has the ability to make a pick 6 now and then All of the above would be nice and make us a contender someday!
  14. Yup! The reason the Bills bypassed DT Haloti Ngata in the 06 draft is because they claimed he didn't fit their scheme ...just a gut feeling that the Bills defense would be better against the run and better overall if that monster were sitting in the middle of our Line ...last time I checked...he's a dominant force in the middle of the Baltimore Ravens D-line.
  15. I agree...In my opinion the Bills need to spend their high draft picks on both sides of the line starting with the Defensive side. Just look at a couple of th the more successful teams (Patriots and Eagles to name just a few) over a long period, they all have rather high draft picks starting on their line. In my opinion there's no recipe to replace talent on the line, you can get away with finding a solid WR in the later rounds of the draft, but not at the D-line position.
  16. I viewed the Bills defense as just an average unit weeks ago when the Bills were on their winning streak...the problem is the scheme and the players they draft and acquire to fit their scheme...our scheme calls for smaller quicker D-linemen (except Stroud who's a tall beanstalk)...LB'ers that are quick and fly to the ball which is great but they too are the smaller variety and their secondary is loaded with small DB's short and quick but nowhere to be found on run support...in my opinion it's the Bills defensive philosophy that's bringing the team down...this type of defense SUCKS unless you have a Bob Sanders (Very Rare) in your secondary and even then we would be still be bad...in my opinion this thing needs to be blown up switch to a 3-4 like the Steelers in which they draft and employ BIG LB's or ends like LaMarr Woodley...or...keep the 4-3 but draft bigger and faster ends like the Giants did and find some bigger and better LB's and DB's....DT Kyle Williams is no better than a good backup DT on most teams and LB Poszluszny is a very overrated stiff robot who looks like he's feeding himself roids to make himself bigger to man the middle of the defense...this unit is one of the worst in the league....and last but not least....Marv Levy always said...to win in this league you have to be able to run the ball (LOL) and stop the run...we can't do either! I'ts that time of the year in Buffalo when the leaves are falling off the trees and the snow will be falling soon....which means it's the season when Bills fans begin thinking about the NFL Draft because the Playoffs are a distant memory...all of the above is as sure as dying and paying taxes. Sorry for the negative post, but as a Bills fan I'm sick of losing!
  17. Losman On The Block?...ProFootballWeekly.com reports contrary to a report out of Buffalo this week that quoted Bills chief operating officer Russ Brandon as saying, “We anticipate (J.P. Losman) being on this team,” we hear that the Bills’ quarterback is very much on the trading block.... Losman asked to be traded after last season following his demotion behind Trent Edwards, but thus far, the Bills haven’t received many inquiries from other teams....Still, the Bills hold out hope that they can work out a deal for him either over draft weekend or shortly thereafter. “Russ was simply giving the party-line answer,” said a source close to Brandon....“He’s just covering his bases in the event they don’t get a reasonable offer.” The general feeling is that a third or fourth-round draft pick either in next week’s draft if they get the deal done soon, or in the ’09 draft if it’s worked out later , is the least amount of compensation the Bills would be willing to accept...In the event Buffalo fails to see that kind of offer, Losman would remain with the club as the second-string QB rather than being cut. 18. Malcolm Kelly....Oklahoma WR Malcolm Kelly ran another disapointing forty time this morning...Kelly was timed at 4.65 in the forty on what is considered to be a very fast astro-turf type surface at Oklahoma...the New York Giants and the Green Bay Packers were the only teams to send representatives to see his workout. link: http://www.eastcoastsportsnews.com/2008draftnews.html
  19. I found this pretty interesting because everbody thinks M. Kelly will slide into the second round of the draft, but how about the third round = I'd take him there! http://www.eastcoastsportsnews.com/2008draftnews.html Malcolm Kelly's poor pro day performance has not only dropped him out of the first round of the draft, but Kelly will likely slide past the second round as well. Kelly's numbers were worse than USC receiver Dwayne Jarrett's numbers from last year, and Jarrett fell to the 45th overall pick in the 2007 Draft and was chosen by the Panthers. Jarrett's forty time of 4.62 was better than Jarrett's pair of 4.68 and 4.75 times, as was his vertical jump of 36.5" compared to Kelly's 32", along with his 4.20 short shuttle compared to Kelly's 4.24 shuttle time. Kelly will also be downgraded for throwing his school and their medical staff under the bus after his workout. Kelly was graded as a second round pick by the NFL's advisory board committee when he applied for the draft back in January, but that was under the assumption that Kelly would run faster than his poor forty times on Wednesday. In my opinion, unless Kelly runs a much better forty time for an NFL team within the next two weeks, he won't come off the board any earlier than the early stages of the third round of the 2008 NFL Draft.
  20. Trent does have small hands, I think they were just 8 3/4" which was way smaller than the other qb's coming out of the draft last year. Jamarcus Russell had 10" hands. I remember seeing this on one of the draft sites, but I don't remember which one.
  21. What if Derrick Harvey is already off the board, and the best two cornerbacks are gone as well??
  22. Bryant Johnson...To follow up our earlier report, ESPN's Michael Smith is now reporting that Bryant Johnson has signed a one year contract with the San Francisco 49'ers...the offers that Johnson had reportedly received from other teams on the market weren't what he and his agent had expected... so Johnson accepted the Niners one year deal in hopes of padding his stats in Mike Martz's offense and hit the open market once again in 2009.
