  1. Maybe there is a rule that we dont know about???? WOW!
  2. Promo, posted this same question in another thread. I answered his question and he never responded. Thus I will answer it here again. Here is the thing I see with Peyton. A couple of years ago against the Patriots, the Indianapolis recievers were getting mobbed by Ty Law and the goons of the Patriots secondary. Thus the Ty Law Rule (or the 5 yard bump rule) was re-inforced. This year (if you have been watching this game at all) nearly the entire first half and the start of the second, Peyton was getting recked by the Pittsburgh defensive before he could have time to survey the field. Peyton aside ::: The Colts defense did not show up to play today. They did not play as well as they could have. Now lets put this together = Peyton not having enough time to throw + the defense laying a goose egg = a Indianapolis loss. Now how can you put this loss on the shoulders of Peyton Manning? He had 2 bad passes (that I have seen) thus far. One that should have been picked off (that was thrown to Wayne) and another one that kinda was picked off but was taken back. It is amazing how when the Patriots TEAM wins 3 Super Bowls, BRADY truly won those games. So I guess it is only fair then when the COLTS lose the playoff games, it is squarely based on Peyton manning.
  3. There is no doubt that Pitt's 0-line is better than Indi's D-line ... but what I dont understand is why the d-coordinator did not put more than 4-5 players on the line during 4th and 1? Its the playoffs, you have 9 minutes left in the 4th, and your down by 11. Stack the friggin line. They nearly got Bettis down with the 4 or 5 man front .. if they had a couple more guys they would have saved themselves a good 2 minutes.
  4. Really, Polian could'nt do much more. The offensive line and the defense did not show up to play for most of the game.
  5. Yeah. It was sad that the result of a referee miscue is a couple minutes off of the clock for Indianapolis.
  6. Manning did the same thing last year against the Chargers ... with the same result.
  7. If you think Dungy would have sat Peyton, then you may need to go to the hospital and get your head re-examined.
  8. LOL - I just posted that as a reply a few minutes earlier. But it is true. Manning has more say than Dungy does ... and if it comes down to who has to leave ... Manning or Dungy ... I think the Colts would be saying there farewells to the Coach. But I like them both a lot. Dungy is a good guy and so is Manning.
  9. One question, seriously: When did the QB start playing defense and offensive line? Because that is who I see is losing the game right now for the Colts.
  10. LOL - I think Peyton just showed who really runs the offense on that team. He has more say than Dungy does. That was hilarious.
  11. Jeez, forget this. The entire Colts team is playing horrid.
  12. Are you seriously questioning Ralph Wilson's credibility to be in the HOF?
  13. Well considering that my thread has about double the reply's you had ... basically I just thought I had more to say than a reply could handle.
  14. He never said that he didn't want a team built like Pittsburgh ... Where did you get that from?
  15. Did'nt you hear? Bruschi got the NFL to change the score ... the Patriots actually won. Bruschi can do anything.
  16. 6-6 for 54 yards Not to mention a BEAUTIFUL snap count to get the steelers defense to jump ...
  17. Indi is my 2nd favorite team and I want them to win this SB.
  18. Jee. What do ya know? The 0-line gives Manning some time to throw and he is starting to pick apart the Pitt. Defense.
  19. Deal. Ive been wrong before .... I just hope not today.
  20. I'm sorry ... how many In-com-ple-shooons did Kelly have? How about Favre? How about Brady? Hmm ... Wait until the end of the game.
  21. Let me make a suggestion ... lets just all come back to this thread at the end of the game and we shall look at Peyton's stats then and decide. He is very good at making adjustments.
  22. What is with the ignorant posts today? I can not stand stupid people. How is his o-line doing? The defense is on Manning's ass every play.
