If the Bills just released Urbik that means one of two things. The Bills are closer to a deal with Incognito than believed, or they have a plan in FA to replace him.
The problem with Urbik is while he only saves the Bills 1.75 mill he just isn't versatile. He can really only play Guard. They tried him at Center and he struggled and he def can't play tackle

To me Perry is a 2nd round pick. I don't think he last to 64. I think he goes around 50.
-
No idea why people are enamored with small line backers running good 40 times. Lee weighs what 230?
I'm not enamored with him for running a 40 time but it furthers my point of being a versatile LB who can play safety. A small LB who has shown that he can effectively cover RBs, TEs, and even slot WRs. A guy who can be physical on the perimeter, blitz off the edge and can play multiple positions in a scheme known for its complexity and player versatility. Hope that answers your question

McKelvin has already expressed a willingness to take a pay cut, so I don't think it's necessary in his case.
True but maybe what McKelvin will take isn't the amount the Bills want him to take. If McKelvin wants to take a 750,000 pay cut and the Bills want 2 million they might have hit a snag
-
I think it's to put pressure on McKelvin and/or Graham to take a pay it. I think the Bills say we can bring In Cromartie, he can play safety and CB, he knows Rex system, and we can pay him the salary of one player when he can do two players jobs

Better time for Ragland than I thought. Expected him to run 4.8
-
Perry might run well highly underrated LB
-
Only been vouching for Lee for months. In this day and age of football you need guys like him more than Ragland. He is gonna blow up this combine
-
Keep an eye on Alex McAllister when his group comes up. Freak athlete who can go round 2. Tape backs up his athleticism too
-
I think that these drills are exposing Bosa as a good not great athlete. He is still a very good player on the field obviously. I also think that Andrew Billings looks like a great athlete for his size. I wasn't expecting him to be that good of an athlete
Not impressed by Austin Johnson. He looks slow and sluggish compared to a lot of these guys
-
Thing about Bosa. I'm watching him in the 40 and drills and he doesn't strike me as an elite athlete. Good player but not a great athlete.
-
Still love Sterling Sheppard. Could easily see him as a late round 1 early 2 guy. Was watching the combine and Michael Thomas fell on his face numerous times like he had 2 left feet
-
Sounds like guys like Darron Lee and Su'a Cravens will be highly thought of by Pittsburgh. I agree with Colbert, that's why I argued earlier in this thread that Ragland is overrated. Ragland is not a great blitzer and he can't cover.

I mean cmon this one is easy now. The Buffalo Bills: Fully Pregnant

There was a roto world blurb stating that the Bills really came away impressed with Kevin Hogan's athleticism and arm strength and wouldn't be surprised if they were interested in the later rounds

How am I off. Collins is nothing more than a box safety. So MCLain having an issue makes that an excuse and even as a returning player he is only a 2 down player who can't cover and he was a top 10 pick!!. Sound familiar. Hightower was a first round pickand Upshaw were 2nd round pick. Hightower was not brought in just to be a run stuffer. If that were the case he wouldn't have been drafted in the late first round. Finally wrestling a job away a job in his 4th year is not something to be proud of if your Kirkpatrick.

Is Ragland going to get faster? Maybe a little but not much. Is he going to be able to cover NFL WR's, TE'S, and RB'S. He didn't show he could do it in college. What makes me think he's going to be able to cover better players in the NFL. Look at Alabamas history with defensive players. Donta Hightower, Courtney Upshaw, Dre Kirkpatrick, Landon Collins, C.J Mosley, Marcell Dareus, Dee Milliner, Rolando McClain, HaHa Clinton Dix, Terrance Cody have in common?
All of them besides Dareus, Mosely, and maybe Dix came into the league and didn't improve when they got in the NFL. A lot of Alabama prospects are maxed out by the time they get into the pros. Ragland is 6'1 260 pounds. He is maxed out physically. The proof is in the history of Alabama defensive players.
-
Even if Davis doesn't start we have zero depth at the LB spot. I don't see how it would hurt to bring him in, give him a chance to compete and if he gets beaten out so be it he can be a depth player
-
The Eagles are spending a lot of money on "Potential" this offseason. Thats a crazy contract and they just gave a big one to Ertz too that
-
Yes, Darron Lee played QB AND Safety until two years ago. That tells me he hasn't maxed out his potential. With a guy like Ragland he isn't going to get much better. What you see is what you get
-
Le'Raven Clark from Texas Tech would make sense in round 3. He's a prototypical RT in the same mold as Cordy Glenn. 6'6 320 with 36 inch arms
-
These fan speak things are so dumb. Their rankings are big time off. Noah Spence, Sheldon Rankins, Braxton Miller, and numerous others who are showing up as 3-5 round picks make me laugh when I see them
-
If both Lee and Perry were available when the Bills pick in the 2nd round, I would have to go with Lee just as BPA. He's a 1st round talent. Like you said, he's the modern NFL OLB. But I don't think I would take him at 19. I feel like we need a more immediate starter in our defense. I actually think he could have used another year in college. He is very similar to Shazier, but more raw in technique. Shazier actually was even skinnier than Lee in college. He put on 15 between his junior season and the combine. Still fast and looks like he's been shot out of a cannon. I could see Lee turning into Shazier. Maybe I'm wrong and he will be a stud right out of the gate. IMO Lee is a faster, better version of Rookie Kiko. Without the off-field.
I think Josh Perry fits this D like a glove at LB. He is so smart and athletic and a leader. Can play inside or outside, cover, and even rush the passer. Jmo of course but he will be an under the radar great pick for some team.
Intersting thought on Preston to Eagles. I could see that. He just needs to be somewhere other than MLB. I don't think he's a bad player or that he can't play in this scheme. But Rex's MLB position is over his head. At this time.
I think Lee is one of the best players in this draft. You guys are pigeon holing yourselves by saying we need that big traditional MLB like Ragland or the big edge rusher like Jaylon Smith. If Lee is Ryan Shazier then he is one of the best 10 players in this draft. Having a 3 down LB who can cover WR's/TE's/RB's and be able to blitz like he does is not something you should overlook. I think the Bills realistically should take a long hard look at him at 19. I actually would think that you could use Darron Lee as a hybrid LB/S like Troy Polamalu or Kam Chancellor were used in their careers.

My guess is the actual visit isn't over yet. He must be staying through tomorrow. Usually they have some sort of media availability or press release to conclude visits
