I've heard good things about their sauce...I'll support any non chain/corporate restaurant...the places i've mentioned have all stood the test of time....i'll have to give 9-11 a try next time i'm home...Go Bills!
-
Neither...both are overrated...Bar Bill, Big Tree, Mammosers....those are the places where buffalonians eat wings...
-
Trying not to read into this too much, but the Colts team plane is at buffalo. Could be many reasons....i know polian still has ties to buffalo...Just thought i'd throw it out there.

I was flamed 2 weeks ago when I posted that I had inside knowledge that he had a partially torn Achilles and that he would be done 6-8 weeks.
-
Whether or not anyone on this board believes my info really means nothing to me. I have posted around 60-70 times so that makes me a "rookie." I have been reading this board for around 5 years, but I do not post regularly because I do not feel like dealing with the cynics that are the majority on this board. I have a pretty good pipeline of Bills info, and I share it sparingly. Another tidbit, from what I understand Roscoe's injury was a dislocation in the wrist of some kind, not a break.
-
I'm not sure if you misread something? I never said my source guessed on an injury.
-
I have a few inside sources that tell me merriman has a partial tear in the achilles that will put him out for 6-8 weeks. I'm not going to reveal my sources but I will say that its not a friend of a friend of a friend.

Let me get this straight; they're going to bench Spiller?
RalphOP83 replied to eschej13's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Chris Johnson is listed at 191 on nfl.com. Spiller will get the touches, but I dont think it's necessary that he start the first play of each game as the "starting" running back. Let the two bigger backs wear down the defense. -
I know ruben very well and let me tell you he is class all the way. It amazes me how people on these boards read another posts speculations and they take them to be the truth. The above post has it completely right...most any other player in this league would have gone to the media and flapped their gums but ruben kept his mouth shut. Call ruben overrated, penalty prone, or a quitter based on your limited football knowledge. However, ask any other player that has played with him what they think of rube and they will have something much different to say. Remember the pro bowl is voted on by the fans, fellow players, and coaches. I'll take the latter 2/3's expertise over some armchair quarterback's any day of the week. Anyone that has had one conversation with ruben or has seen what he does with the community is a fan all the way.

What if TO did not fall into our lap?
RalphOP83 replied to RalphOP83's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thanks. I will have a good trip regardless of the outcome. I couldnt agree more with your sentiment...If we are going to lose, atleast show me something... A glimmer of hope. Go Bills! -
I am a hopeful optimist about the bills, because I love being a bills fan. I'm not happy with the way things have been for the past 9+ years, but i will still cheer and remain optimistic. I hear many people that remain optimistic about the bills because they think TO will add a new dimension to the offense that we have not had since Lee Evans has been here. I believe it shows how inept our front office is that we are basing this whole season, our marketing, and all of our hope on a player that was cut by another team. Why don't we seek the best players at each position to put ourselves in the best opportunity to win? What if TO was not cut? Did our front office feel that our team was good enough to get into the playoffs/superbowl with the current team? Obviously not. I leave for Boston in about 24 hours. I will keep cheering. GO BILLS!

Going back to Buffalo for the Saints game
RalphOP83 replied to kenny3000's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Big Tree is the best spot to stop after a game hands down. Stay there for a while until traffic dies down. Many of the players used to come in after victories last year. If you are gonna head downtown later on after the game head to snooty fox on delaware, it is the hot spot on sunday nights downtown. Upscale place that throws a dj in on sunday nights. Many of the downtown bar crowd and bartenders go there on sunday nights -
They were not doing the wildcat in camp to help the defense, as you could tell if you were there all of the emphasis was on the offensive side of the ball. Everyone uses size as the reason roscoe can never succeed as a receiver in the nfl. Roscoe is 5'9" 171 lbs. Steve Smith is 5'9" 185lbs. Darren Sproles is 5'9" 181 lbs. Roscoe ran a 4.37 40yd dash and sproles ran a 4.49. Lee evans ran a 4.39 40. I know these are just numbers but it may be a little perspective.
-
I disagree. The ravens were good at stopping it yet they saw how effective the wildcat could be, which is why they also went wildcat. Anytime you can have Roscoe getting the ball in the backfield with the option of handing the ball off, running, or pitching the ball a little further down field you may be at an advantage. I dont think it will be a staple in our offense, but I think with the no huddle we could really create a mismatch.

I plan to head down on saturday afternoon. I am going to enjoy boston for the day before heading down to foxborough monday morning. Anyone have any suggestions?
-
I attended camp monday, and noticed roscoe running the wildcat. The team ran roughly 10 plays with roscoe at the wildcat position with marshawn and jackson on each side of him. Trent was split out with evans and owens on the other side. They ran a few different plays out of this formation but the one that stuck out was basically a triple option. On a side note before the team did position drills T.O. and Lee both worked with the offense on a series of reverses.

How do you tell what is real and fake on this site?
-
I've never seen this site, but it seems as though some of you guys have some experience using dhgate. I see they sell nike running shoes and all sorts of products. If a product's description says nike, are the shoes really nike's? They have the nike symbol blotched out in the picture. thanks

Do they sell mix packs? I would like to buy a lot with a few different popular jerseys.
-
are these jerseys legit? how is the quality?

Rumor: Marshawn slammed by a cop Saturday night downtown
RalphOP83 replied to goynahan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
FWIW Marshawn was at the bayou saturday night, (confirmed by my own eyes) at Pat kaleta's birthday party. I work there, and was walking through the door early in the night when I bumped into a big guy with dreads and a black and white checkered shirt. The guy turned around and it so happened to be marshawn. I cant confirm that he was involved in anything with the police though. -

MNF - Is anyone making the trip to Foxborough?
RalphOP83 replied to Glass To The Arson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My girlfriend (patriots fan) bought us tickets for my birthday. Cant decide whether to fly or drive? I think driving may be the best bet just for transportation to and from the game. I am also deciding on where I should stay.... Boston or providence?? We paid $220 for tix. Seems high, but I think we are spoiled in buffalo with sabres/bills ticket prices.....and I remember how much tickets for the home monday night, and winter classic games were going for....The atmosphere alone will be worth the ticket price!
