Buffalo's 1st 5 picks (in first 3 rounds)
In space no one can hear replied to 1billsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
In your "double fantasy" draft. With make believe trades, you end up with the Bills managing to net 5 choices in the first three round. Out of the 5 choices you have the Bills selecting only 1 offensive lineman and 0 defensive lineman!!!!! Thus, I must reject your double fantasy draft for not addressing the trenches. Back to the drawing board. -
Puddy a Bills Fan?

"I always liked Buffalo in the day, but I've kind of fallen off that bandwagon for a few years now" Sounds like a true Buffalo Bill fan! -

Are you kidding me???? Peters had some leverage before he signed his contract with Donahoe. He signed what looked like a fair contract for both sides at the time and it gave him the security he was looking for coming off a free agent rookie contract. Tough sh--!!iif he is not the highest paid player on the line!! Look at every teams salary structure-they are all skewed. Every team has players that are over and under payed. ITS TIME TO FINALLY SOLIDIFY THE LINE- GET 'ER DONE MARV!!!

Great job!! Thanks!! Maybe if this post was pinned to the top of the board it would save a ton of repetitive questions. -
If Nate Clements leaves...

Yes, there were some concerns about Halls speed at the Senior Bowl. I think it will be a bit easier to sort through the cb's at the combine after they run the 40. It appears to be a good cb draft in the second and third round. At this point- I like the idea of taking a dl or ol with our first. -
As many have stated in this thread....you don't spend big money" on guards in free agency is a maxim held by many of us(including myself) who think we know the "right" positions to spend money on. Unfortunately....this supposed easiest of positions to fill has been a huge weakness on our team for several years. This weakness actually threatens to stunt our offense and thus our teams progression into a playoff team. Sure I hope we don't have to break the bank to fill the holes(either one or two) at guard- but we have wasted money on some guards who have been complete sh-- the last few years(Anderson, Reyes) and at this point they just need to bring the right person/s to finally solidify the line. Due to past failures- it just makes me wonder what McNally's role is in all of this? Did he push for the Anderson and Reyes signings? Who knows?

Personally- I'd be very surprised if he lasted beyond the second round. Yes- He'd be a great addition to the Bills! -

I can't resist giving you Brian Moorman's foundation's website. He is quite the exceptional person and we are truly fortunate to have him on our team and more importantly to have him as a neighbor in our community. Cheers Brian!!! Brian Moorman -

Are you looking strictly for an awareness program or one that works directly with youth? Depressed/troubled youth is quite the broad category. It could encompass kids that are diagnosed, kids that are at-risk or just programs that kids can say yes to.(boys club/scouts.ymca etc.) Here is just one program that assists kids who need extra support Compeer -

I could see it going like that- but from what I heard it went like this: Waitress: Can I help you? Dick: Do you have any white bread ma'am? Waitress: Yeah. Dick: I'll have some toasted white bread please. Waitress: You want butter or jam on that, honey? Dick: No ma'am, dry. Waitress: Do you want anything to drink with that? Dick: No ma'am. -

I'll order my Po Football Weekly Draft Book like I do every year. Nawrocki has had big shoes(and ears) to fill....but as one can see he did a great job with his mock and in my opinion he did a fantastic job with his player evaluations. -

There are a variety of link to different videos- including Senior Bowl practices. I downloaded them all- to watch them at my convenience. Hopefully-the same person will have The Senior Bowl game available on Monday or Tuesday. It's a bit of a pain having to click through so many pages to get to the file- but well worth it if you are a draftknik like me. Enjoy! Link to Senior Bowl Practices

I think the niners are moving in a positive direction- and it helps to have Frank Gore!! He had an incredible year and was a RELENTLESS, hardnosed runner all season long- no matter the opponent(kind of the ant-mcgahee) I think it would really hurt them to lose Norv Turner and I am hoping he stays put in San Fran. -

I don't consider myself fat- but if he puts on as many lbs. as I have since I was 19-he will sufficiently plug the middle! Maybe it's a blessing in disguise that his weight is down....if it wasn't I really don't think there is any possibility that he would be there for us.

kirk chambers signing
In space no one can hear replied to In space no one can hear's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think I started my response by saying "Yes- I was excited we signed Jason Peters. I'm sure any draftknick will tell you the same thing.' (Did you catch the wording this time......nice and slow for you this time .......".I'm.........sure.......any......." Thus, I'm obviously not claiming any "SPECIAL" knowledge or awareness about Peters. This then makes your silly responses null and void because your ability to read or comprehend the written word is clearly lacking. Yes- we did put him on the practice squad after we cut him and he visited a number of teams that chose not to sign him. If you went to camp like I did the year he was a rookie you would have never considered him "fodder" to use your wording. His potential at tight end was extremely intriguing!!! So if you are intrigued by Kirk Chambers potential-to each his own. -

I have to give Wade kudos for his skills on the defensive side of the ball. (and his head coaching record ain't bad) By the many fine posts I have seen about him recently on this board- his image or poularity is on the rise around here. We Bills supporters can be a cruel and hostile bunch and we have run quite a few people out of town (even if only in our minds) Is this unprecedented territory that Phillips is clearing? Will there be others that we have banished that we allow back in our good graces?
