  1. It sounds like he has no idea what the revenue sharing qualifiers are. If we did qualify for revenue sharing I wonder how much that would add or amount to??
  2. I know Ralph is up against it, but don't you think he and the Bills should try to get creative to keep and more importantly put a great product on the field! The CBA is over with...sorry to say, but no it's time to deal with it like the rest of the league including the other "poor" clubs.
  3. Keep your italian loafers out of my bedpan...... banker!
  4. Yeah, all 17,000 of them that show up on a weekly basis
  5. Don't forget a steady dose Bill Macatee and Craig Bolerjack....top notch analysis is just around the corner
  6. How in the world do the friggin Raiders get 4 games in primetime?!?! I swear, if the Raiders were any good last year they would probably have the whole schedule at night. The NFL really has to stop their fascination with some of these teams that get games no matter how bad they are (i.e., Green Bay, Raiders, etc.) friggin losers...
  7. Not to sound too gloomy, but you have to figure 0-2 to start seeing that it will be both the Patsies' and Fish home openers, but i could see a nice two win rebound against the hapless jets and vikings. Ahhhh, let the speculation begin; and the draft isn't even here yet.
  8. I envision a lot of Beaseley Reece this year, mixed with a little Tasker and Don Criqui
  9. yeah, the late home games are great, but with the beginning of the schedule the way it is those late home games may not mean very much.
  10. geez...nice schedule two straight roadies to open up against the toughest division opponents and not one primetime game, period. I guess, i'm not surprised by the lack of primetime games, but now that they have a primetime game virtually every night of the week you would think the Bills would be thrown in the mix somewhere. I guess we'll quickly find out what the team is made of this season.
  11. Apparently, Bills v. Vikings on December 17th
  12. another dose of the Bruschi love fest to add insult to injury.... Nall v. Belichick
  13. Jets and G-men Darn, you beat me to the Jets games.... Nice find!
  14. Link Looks like it's a three way (insert joke here....)
  15. I'm seriously trying to give Marv and staff the benefit of the doubt this offseason and i know it's been discussed ad nauseum on this board, but this team just seems to be circling the drain. There is no interest/excitement at this point, the Bills are a joke to most media outlets, and things just seem to get worse, which is hard to believe. I know that none of that matters until we see the draft and the resulting product on the field, but it just seems to me that Marv is learning on the job and that the team lacks a clear plan. Maybe it's just a purge until Marv gets his own people in, but this is getting painful and Buffalo just gets less and less attractive for players and coaching personnel. Sorry, just thinking outloud and venting a bit.....
  16. Sirius 2-minute drill just reported that it is indeed a 5th.......
  17. Unfortunately, yes. I have a feeling the Bills will get the annual a$$ kicking event known as the sunday night game in New England. That seems to be a constant over the past few years.
  18. I have to admit that i'm trying to give Marv the benefit of the doubt and taking the "wait and see" approach, but it is getting a bit sad to witness. I mean, who knows, maybe Marv is picking up some quality blue chippers, but it does seem that on the surface we are quickly being left behind and that the rest of the dredge of the AFC is getting better quicker. Not that it's the sure fire way to go, but i have to say that i would be a little more excited if i were a Browns and/or Titans fan this offseason. They just seem to be having more of the offseason that i thought we would have. It really hit me last night though when i listened to Nall's interview on WGR. He said that even without Moulds the receiving crew is a "force to be reckoned with". He talked about how great Josh Reed and Robert Royal are, etc.... I was thinking, "yeah, that receiving corps should scare the pants off of opposing teams" Being a diehard Buffalo fan has easily shaved 10-15 years off my life...especially with times like these.....
  19. Thanks a bunch Clump! I'm sure that I'm echoeing the sentiment around here, but it's really cool that you do this and much appreciated. I trust your numbers more than any other crappy media outlet and always look forward to updates. Keep it up!!
  20. I'm not too disappointed with this, even though I know zilch about this guy. He may be a great coach, teacher, etc. But, I would think it would seem odd for a 29 year old to be coaching TKO and Fletch. It would seem to me that a 29 year old coach belongs in a college atmosphere. Again, he may be a good one, but it just seemed like an odd fit here.
  21. Well, the interviews were interesting to say the least, but I really wish someone else other than Ed Kilgore was doing the interview. His questions can be horrid at times. Sometimes, he'll say something along the lines of "Now, the team has struggled lately here in Buffalo, so, do you think it's important to win quickly?" Ahhhh, no Ed, I'd prefer to stay on the losing track for the next few years. I hate super softy questions like that. Anywho, DJ was pretty generic still with his responses and typically used the "if we don't do X, then you can't win in this league" phrase. He also said that he doesn't really know if we have the right players on this roster, but that the organization will do whatever it takes to find them. Marv was insightful at times, but scary (to me) at others. I'm kind of tired of hearing him recall his anecdotal 80s Bills stories. He always tells the story about how Polian took until 3:00am to convince to do the Bennett deal. He reminds me a grandpa that sits the kids down to tell them stories, which is fun to a point, but kind of scary in another sense to me. I just don't like reliving the past. Enough already. I don't know if this is a new thing or not, but I'm not sure how i feel about Overdorf primarily managing the cap. He may have done this before, but I find it hard to believe that TD didn't control that aspect of the job. If there is one thing TD was ok with, it was cap management. But, maybe it was mostly Overdorf in the past. Marv REALLY stressed defense though. He listed his top 3 qualities for a winning team as: 1) great D-Line, 2) great O-Line, and 3) Quarterback play (interesting how opposite that was of the previous regime). So, by that line of thinking, you have to believe that Ngata is the guy if Mario Williams is gone. Unless, the lines are the focus of free agency, which is also likely. Anyway, bring on the real offseason!!
  22. I have to take the under at this point until proven otherwise. Simply put, this organization has wiffed on several decisions in the past, so what makes anyone think they have it right this time?? Becasue we have Marv back? That's not enough for me. I just hope they have a kick @ss plan for free agency and the draft because this team needs a marketing miracle. Heck, the current players on the team need something that tells them this organization is serious about turning it around and/or moving it in the right direction. It's amazing how quickly the ebb and flow of excitement changes from year to year. As much as I want to BILLieve right now, i'm just not inspired about this team (and save it, i know it's way too early to make judgement calls on the team -- it's just a gut feeling).
