  1. Although I did love the way he played last week, let's see how he does this week in the heat, and how he holds up the next couple of games on his ankle before we get too crazy about him.

NFL teams don't usually just toss players away if they are still productive players.

  2. I say we offer JP in a trade to New England for a high draft pick. In there desperate situation, they might be willing to part with next year's 2nd rounder. Could you imagine him throwing bombs to Randy Freakin' Moss? That would be ridiculous.

    What do you guys think?

Actually, I like this idea. But how about we trade JP and Poz for the high pick?? Help the rich get richer...

  3. PS Great win for the Bills and a big FU to the weather forecasters. I checked the weather on Saturday night and the forecast was for partly sunny skies. I wake up Sunday morning and leave for the game and it could not have been a more perfect weather day with the skies as blue as can be...until game time! It is safe to say I didn't have any rain gear with me <_<

Labatt, looked up the weather on weather.com and used the hour-by-hour option and they forecasted rain throughout the game. Just for future use.

  4. I sat upper deck, Bills side row 31. Had some young drunk jerk standing in front of my 5' wife for the first 3 quarters. Funny thing, most of the time no one was standing in front of him. Asked him to sit down and got the same crap you get from every other drunks who can't hold there booze.

I don't mind if the whole section is standing, but if you are the only one, get a grip and sit your a$$ down and be fair to the other fans behind you. It's not about how old or young you are, it's about being fair and respectful to other people.

BTW, if you have a problem with someone, call the number posted in the stadium and you WILL get some help, had to use it last year when a group of guys a couple of rows in front of us started a fight.

  5. The rookies didn't play at all. We now have a experienced veteran team and rookies are not needed, that's a good thing. As for McCargo, Big Dick stated in his presser that he was inactive because of the Special Teams ability of the other players that were active, it was a numbers thing. Makes sense to me.

Kinda nice we can rely on the vets on this team, and don't need to immediately plug in out draft picks. Just proves our depth (in some areas).

  6. 1 - Not to be sanctimonious but some of the "rejoicing" to Brady's injury is pretty damn classless. Bills fans pride themselves on being the best in the league, and that reputation has take a few painful hits today.

2 - That said. This is a team that nearly went 19-0 last year. 19 and frickin' zero. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised they will game plan and rally to a 10-6 or 11-5 record AND beat the Bills at home. Say what you want, but the Pats are a damn good team and Billy B is a great coach.

Don't book your flight to a division championship just yet.

Yep, we are classless....what about "Billy B" running up the score as much as he did against many teams last year.

Sorry, but as I stated in another thread....

    KARMA

  7. No argument about the a-holes, but in defense of the original poster - the thread was started Tuesday and today's Thursday. Keeping a close eye on this thing, I've noticed the NOAA projections did have its cone of possibility covering part of WNY a couple of days ago.

    Thanks Campy.

I was not trying to put a damper on anything, just providing information. And yes, the storm was tracking to give us rain on Sunday earlier this week and has since moved farther east, and should not be a problem.

  8. Screw him. What did he gain? Better yet, what did he lose? Besides a boatload of cash, he lost the respect of teammates and fans!

He won't get a contract extension this season, but probably will after.....JUST WHAT PROBABLY WOULD HAVE HAPPENED ANYWAY!!!

He screwed the team, and the fans with his pathetic holdout. These players best stop listening to the agents so much, they are only in it for the $$$ and don't care about the players.

  9. i think they might have found something saying his knee is effed in the surgery they had.

That was my thought, though and MRI, Xray or scan should have showed something before that, look at Merriman in SD.

Just think it's a case of Crowell wanted to be at his best to show off this season for FA, and had a change of heart at the last second to do the surgery.
