  1. He has no pocket presence.

Oh wait, that's when JP get's blind-sided and fumbles. Sorry, wrong QB!

    Whatever.

Funny how on these boards a few short weeks ago, Trent was the second

    coming...

Now that the O-line is totally exposed, Trent is the problem.

Sorry, but get your head out of the dirt.

  2. If you're referring to the putrid offensive line, I agree. Can't even get a 6 inch push on 4th and inches, for crying out loud. It all starts, or stops, with the offensive line and right now, it's stopped dead.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

Whoever is running the ball is juking 3 yards behind the line on most run plays,

just to get back to the line of scrimmage.

Our O-line is the problem on offense right know, no running game and Trent is

    getting crushed.

  3. Trent is overrated. When will this franchise ever find a decent QB?

    OMG!

Wow. When will you all realize it starts with the O-line

and ZERO RUSH OR PASS BLOCKING!!!!

Trent is a VERY good QB stuck behind a crap line. Imagine

what would happen if we actually had a run game, and they didn't

tee off on Trent every play!! Answer me that???

  4. Yes we dont have a running game but we knew the Jets are good on run D. Should have planned around it.

The pick-6 was all Trent. The fumble is now, what the third in 2 games by Trent ? How is it not on him ? How about the times he held on too long ? I see no reason to give Trent a pass for this game. He is sucking lately after teasing us in the first 5 games. There are other reasons we lost also, but this thread about Trent's performance and he is a BIG reason we lost.

How is the fumble his fault??

Blind side rush with zero protection, again!

  5. I wish the D-line would stop throwing pick-6's in the red zone....

Give him some pass blocking and maybe that wouldn't happen.

Funny how good he looked a couple of weeks ago when he had

all the time in the world to throw the ball. Darn near perfect

    QB rating.

He got his butt handed to him by the O-line today. Way to run and

pass block O-line. What a bunch of overpaid players. I would say over-rated,

but those in the know understand they suk.

  6. No running game, you can blame the QB all you want!

Yep. With no running game, and crap pass blocking, what did you

    think would happen??

Ain't Edwards fault. Blame both the O-line for poor run and pass blocking,

and the D-line for poor pash rush...again....

  7. No, it's season over. They'll lose next week and fall to 5-4. They'll be 0-3 in division. You heard it here first, this team won't even make the playoffs after a 4-0 start. Not with Trent Edwards under center.

    Say it ain't so, Joe..

BTW, it isn't all Trent's fault. His run and pass bocking SUXX!!!!

Remember how good he looks with some blocking.

  8. Some dumbass that can't follow the intricacies of the game.

I knew this game was over early in the third quarter and called it.

Guess what. The season's over, too. This team has been exposed as the frauds that they are.

    :wallbash:

I don't know about season over, but I bet the talk about "Superbowl" dies down

    a bit after this week....

  9. 1. Outcoached...AGAIN!

Hey Mangenius, way to teach your player to step out of bounds while recovering a kickoff.

    2. We cannot run the ball.

Don't need to say a thing here!

    3. Stupid penalties.

Stupid, Stupid, Stupid. Nice hold on Moormans run.

    4. PLEASE BLOCK FOR EDWARDS!

Man, we can really see the difference when he has blocking, darn near picks

apart the opposing D with good bloocking, looks rather ordinary with zero blocking.

    5. Not ready for prime-time players.

Move over SNL, these are truly the NOT READY FOR PRIME-TIME PLAYERS!

Second game in a row were we just gave up. I don't know what it is, we come out like gangbusters

then all of a sudden we crap out.

I suspect it has alot to do with the O-line and D-line. When we put zero pressure on the QB,

picked apart...again. When we can't run or pass block, well just watch the game and see what happens.

I would love to see Marshawn be able to JUST RUN THE BALL! He can't even get the 2 yards most runners

get with a good o-line push. He's juking 3 yards deep JUST TO GET BACK TO THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE.

I love this team, and think they are really good. We are just a few o-line and one d-line player from being

    really good.

  11. The Jets have been a good running team this year, but their passing game, barring Favre's 6 TD game, has been nothing special. The reason being that teams have been able to consistently pressure Favre, forcing him to make bad throws or take sacks. The worrisome part is that our team hasn't gotten a consistent pass rush since the Seattle game. If Favre has more time, as with any quarterback, his success rate goes up, which would lead to both an effective ground and air attack. Please get better Aaron, you're an elite pass rusher, but you're the best we have

I agree. If Favre is allowed time, with little pressure he will pick apart our depleted secondary.

If Pennington can burn us for 300 yards with his garbage arm, imagine what Favre could do.

  12. We did (and so did the packers).....KC got greedy and wanted a 2nd

And not to rehash this, again, TG did not want to play in Buffalo and would have killed a trade to us.

Also, Royal does need to go, or at least not starting. Schouman should start (best of the rest) and get Fine

on the field and get some experience. I know he just got back, but get him out their. I just can't stand seeing Royal

play his butt off in a game were we have a good lead. Get him in a situation we need him and he drops multiple passes or if he even does catch it, FUMBLES IT!

Hey, how about Peters at TE and move Walker to LT? <_<

  13. 1. Is a one legged McGee better than McKelvin? When is McKelvin's statue of limitations up for when we can officially call him a bust? Also, on returns, someone please tell Leodis that the goal is to run away from the other team, not right at them.

    2. Where was Lynch on that first goalline series? Are you telling me that Beast Mode couldn't have punched it in there?

    3. I never like having any sort of kicker being a captain, but Moorman showed why he is one after his heads up play when the ball was snapped over his head. Any other punter would have given up at least a safety there.

    4. Good thing Peters came back. The way he's playing he's going to save us a lot of money NOT giving him any sort of extension.

    5. Trent did look a little out of sorts, even jumpy. But who could blame him since Peters and Dockery couldn't even slow anybody down on Trent's blind side.

    6. Does Josh Reed really mean that much to this offense? I find this hard to believe, but Hardy and Parrish didn't do much.

    7. Evans sure had a hard time getting any separation.

    1. Obviously the Bills think McKelvin wasn't good enough yesterday, which raises some HUGE red flags considering the game McGee had. If McGee was really that hurt, I can't believe they couldn't roll the coverage to help him, or toss in McKelvin or Corner and give them some safety help.

    2. I think Lynch was hurt just as they got to the goaline and was out a few plays.

    4. I cannot believe how bad Peters is. I can't wait to hear his contract demands now. You would think with every wiff he would see the $$ leave his pocket and TRY harder.

    6. Reed does mean that much to our offense, he has had a pretty good year so far. He's come through and awful lot for us so far. The problem with him out is Parrish is going to have to step up. not sure if he can. Also, I believe Hardy is a wash this year, and won't be any help. Also, kudo's to Royal...WAY TO SCREW THE POOCH.....AGAIN! Unless Schouman or Fine step up, we can't depend on the TE's to help out with Reed out. I want to see more of Stevie Johnson now.

    7. I thought Evans had a pretty good game. Thing is they double covered him most of the game, I mean really with the other guys we have..why not double cover the best WR?

I don't think it's time to panic, yet. Our D needs to play like it did against the Chargers all the time. Peters and Dockery need to step up and give some pass protection and especially run blocking. I can't stand seeing Marshawn start juking in the backfield, before he even hits the line of scrimmage. He doesn't even get a chance to get the free 1 to 2 yards you should get with a good O-line push, it's just non-existent. Trent could have played better, but he will.

The big thing is they better figure a way to help, or replace McGee before Sunday, or Favre will pick us apart worse than Pennington did by far.
