  1. No. Right now, he's of a wasted roster spot and hurts the team every time he takes a snap. Add in his latest round of off-the-field drama, and he'd be a cut candidate if not for his contract.

General Manager Von Miller needs to tell 34-year-old Von Miller that it's time to sit out the rest of the season, rest up, and hope that by some miracle, he can play in 2024 at 75% of what he was before getting hurt.

    Bills win out (obvious)

Dolphins lose to us and one other team (realistic)

Ravens win one more game (realistic)

The Chiefs, Browns, Jags, Colts and Texans lose one game each.

The least likely of all of these outcomes is the Chiefs losing a game (not impossible though).

    Go Bills!

Under this scenario, which team is #1 seed? Wouldn't it be the Ravens and another loss would be irrelevant?

  3. That is devastating for Williams. He's really grown as a Center, and it really sucks that he's entering free agency.  Hopefully, the Dolphins (or, preferably, a NFC team, take a chance and will offer a nice contract).

As for the Dolphins, I'd have to think the loss of Williams could be worse than losing Armstead. Tua seems much more vulnerable to the pass rush up the middle that moves him off his spot and affects his rhythm.  In addition to missing Tyreek, the DT pressure seemed to be a key to the Titans keeping the offense in check.

Because he is 6 years into his career and his stats have plateaued the past three years and he on pace for similar stats this year. The unfortunate thing for us Bills fans is we have at least 6 QBS in the AFC that are great and can compete with Allen. I'm not including Stroud who is becoming a stud in his rookie year

This makes no sense. So Josh has "plateaued" into a great season every year. Ok, this is not a problem.  Now figure out how not to lose three All-Pro level players on defense.

Can I ask why you say the Cowboys are a decent shot? They have a very good O and a scary scary D. I give the Bills a boxers chance, but wouldn’t be shocked if Dallas win either.. at be at a 50/50. I like the Bills chance against the Dolphins more. Just my opinion of course.

I think the Bills and Cowboys are very similar. They have all the right "traits" and "fundamentals," but neither has been that impressive this year. I think the Cowboys are "good," but they've had a strange year, with blowout wins against bad teams and some very bad losses. Like the Bills, you don't know which team will show up.

I think both teams can win that game, and with the Bills at home and still "in the hunt,"  I think they'd be a decent favorite to win.

On the other hand, the Dolphins offense scares the crap out of me. Yes, the Bills played by far their best game of the season against them, but that was before losing their best three players on defense. It's a bad match-up, and I cringe to think the Bills might need a win in Miami to make the playoffs. I almost hope Miami would be in a position to rest their starters (I'll go throw up now).

  6. Bills are not in great shape, but they at least have a chance to make the playoffs, and then who knows what happens next?

There is a high probably that 10 wins will snag a playoff spot:

    - Jets and Patriots are likely "must wins" to have a chance

    - Then they'll need three out of @Eagles (yuk), @Chiefs (yuk), Cowboys (decent shot), @Chargers (decent shot) and @Dolphins (oh, boy)

That 2022 season was a challenging year with some of the things that we went through, with Damar (Hamlin) and some of the things that happened with our team (with the game being moved to Detroit and travel issues). … We were getting ready to go back to the combine and I was at home and just thinking about, man, did I want to go back for another year? I made the decision to take a year off and see what happens from there. I don’t regret the decision, but I do miss the guys."

How's that jive with the narrative on TBD?

Are you saying people are likely to believe what fits their viewpoint neatly?

Neither what I said nor meant, but thanks for implying so anyway.

I don't believe that it's as traumatic an event for most young dudes as you want to suggest.

Unless of course you keep telling them how traumatized they should be until they believe you.

I'm glad you take the crime so lightly.

    Not buying it.

I had not one, but two older women take advantage of me when I was 13 and 15; the kind of stuff that would have had them arrested today.

    Zero regrets.

Thanks. If it had no effect on you than it must be settled issue for everyone.

Yup. His chances to develop normal relationships have reduced dramatically, while his susceptibility to perpetrate abuse on others has risen as well.

I’m sure the kid will be OK moving forward.

And boy will he have some stories to tell!

I'm sure you're just trying to be funny, but there's a better-than-even chance that unless he's a sociopath, that kid will face regular trauma up until he graduates from high school graduation. He's now the kid who was with the teacher.  Hopefully, he'll get professional therapy to deal with the experience and the inevitable repercussions.
