okay, so it's been a long time since high school french class. but i seem to recall the french do some funny business with the letter "S". For example, the English word hospital translates to French hopital. Pretty much the same word, but with a slightly different spelling.

 

I also recall Le and La were the French equivalent of The, with Le being the masculine and La being the feminine form.

 

So by using these basic French translations, doesn't Dan LeBatarde translate to Dan the Bastard?

It's not as if the "schools" weren't influenced at all by who his family was. They were as honorary as if he was just granted the degrees today. Also, how about his "Guard/Reserve" record? His own commanders don't recall George. Yeah, he served. If you believe that, may God have mercy on you. If I recall correctly, George also only managed a C average in "earning his gifts". I can't speak for what has happened in the past since I am a new member. However, as the orignal poster of this thread, I can tell you that your way off in your assessment. Let me repeat myself again. I did not start this thread to create any drama, hostility, anger, trap, etc... I simply wanted to acknowledge some of the posters I really enjoy. I thought others may have enjoyed doing the same. It was nothing more than that...

I don't think I've ever even watched a CFL game from start to finish, so I'm very ignorant to the level of players there.

 

Of course the NFL is far and away the king of professional football leagues, but by how much?

 

For instance, is it a similar difference in talent that the MLB and AAA has?

 

Some interesting questions:

How would the best CFL teams compare to the best NCAA teams?

If the Bills played in the CFL would be probably go undefeated?

 

Also, I'm assuming that the CFL is second in terms of skilled players to the NFL.

Is that a correct assumption?

I think the Bills should go after Lebron James. The Bills have never had a great tight end and Antonio Gates who is a pro bowl tight end was a basketball player primarily before he got into the NFL. Start thinking outside of the box. This is innovation baby. Let us get King James into town now. If he can live in Cleveland then he certainly may enjoy Buffalo. The good thing about this is that James is not another football team castoff. Just an idea. What do you think?

Seriously, I don't think a team can just move because the owner dies, I am pretty sure the owners would have to vote on it. I am sure they would play this year in Buffalo as scheduled, and move would happen before next year and before the schedules are created.

What if he suddenly got sick and just died?

Would the team instantly be put up for aution and immediatley move (assuming the new owner want to move which is almost a certanty).

 

Or, would there be some kind of waiting period?

 

I mean...what if he passed away today for example? Would this season even be played in Buffalo?
