  1. If the Bills moved to Toronto it would be one of the worst events of my life. But, I LOVE football. I REALLY REALLY love football. And if the closest thing to the Buffalo Bills was the Toronto BIlls - I would be a Toronto Bills fan. Everyone who says that they would immediately not care about the NFL anymore if the Bills moved to Toronto is just lying to themselves. The second that 1:00 on that first Sunday happened you would be glued to the tube just like you would any other year...perhaps it would mean a little less...but you can't just drop a major part of your life in an instant.
  2. But...Moorman might be their punter! and god knows that Overdorf and Brandon would be involved in some capacity.
  3. So let's say it's 2015 and Ralph peacefully passes. He gets his deserved respect and remembrances and we all focus on the good times with him as owner. But immediately every Bills fan has a lump in their throat the size of Fitz's frankenstein-head. We know that our football future is about to be bid on. So, many of you are telling me that if it came down to LA and Toronto...and if Toronto won...you wouldn't grudgingly-at-first, but after-a-while, thank the lord above that there is still a team that you can NATURALLY root for, and not a team to have to force yourself to root for like the Browns or some other rust belt team. This policy of playing a pre-season and regular season game in Toronto hurts for sure, but it's SO worth it if it gives us a chance to still have a team that at least is still reasonable to drive to their home games. And the Toronto Bills would always have a part of Buffalo in them. No other team or city could say that in this situation. So, yes it sucks so friggin', horribly, death-to-the-fu**in-world bad that we can't stay in Buffalo forever, but at least maybe we could still have a team that actually has shades of Buffalo.
  4. I agree with you 100% Dank, and if Vick became a Buffalo Bill, I would literally not be a fan until he left. Michael Vick is scum, and ANYONE who tries to defend him is scum and are dead to me.
  5. What if Fitz's accuracy drastically improves throughout the season? Isn't that basically the only thing that's holding him back? Hell, if he could have had a few throws back from the NE game we very well could have won. Could you imagine him stepping in and beating the Pats? He would be a Buffalo hero. Perhaps he is the kind of QB that needs a few games to get in a groove and by week 10 he is playing like a pro bowler. To be honest, I think that this happening is fairly unlikely, but much stranger things have happened (like your starter co-captain being released only a week removed from being your #1 guy). GO FITZ!
  6. After thinking a little bit more about my original post I realized that I really phrased things in an immature way. Sorry about that, just blowing off some steam in not the best way. I really meant to say that I'm excited about this rally. It shouldn't be about hate on either side. Sorry again for misrepresenting what I believe Stewart is trying to accomplish with this rally.
  7. Sorry, just excited that rational people like Stewart actually exist. Also, why is almost everyone on this board republican/conservative? I thought that Buffalo was traditionally intelligent when it came to politics.
  8. I wonder what you think about the way Palin talks I respect your opinion, but I literally see this the EXACT opposite way. She seems like the obvious one who is a complete lie and is just playing with the ignorant rednecks minds. Ironic that you bring up spelling: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=okidoki
  9. I'm excited about this!!! http://www.rallytorestoresanity.com/ Note: I edited this post to introduce this topic in a more mature way
  10. whats up durango. Don't remember you but GO BILLZZZZZZZZ

  11. I'm not so sure about this. None of my professors interject their own political beliefs. Why do conservatives always seem like stiff, cranky old men who want to rule the world? If professors at Universites are so liberal-biased then that makes me want to be even more liberal. I would much rather follow the advice of someone who has studied these things in a formal setting for a career, rather than just some guy who has certain "feelings" about the way things should be. The fact that their is a stereotype of professors leaning to the left says a lot to me.
  12. Wow. I'm so sick so crooks always on the airwaves. Why is this country such a "fail"???? You're obviously an intellegent guy, but the administrations that I can remember (most of Clinton to present) the conservative way seems to always be more crooked and ignorant. Maybe I'll change my views as I get more years of experience to draw upon, but whenever I try to look at things from a non-biased view the conservatives almost always seem to be the frauds. Of course there is always exceptions, but if you youtube palin, beck, o'reilly etc, it's always disgusting. I respect your opinion though (and the religious freaks at my school, even though they piss me off)
  13. Because all these impressionable minds are soaking in all this (to my mind) ignorant blather. It seems that whenever people start basing their life and decisions on organized religion they become just another tool for someone (like Palin or Glen Beck) to use for their own power.
  14. Great reply, and exactly what I was looking for in this thread. I wasn't aware of the Bill you mention, but I could have sworn that she has said in interviews that she is against gay marriage. Still though, very interesting that she vetoed that bill. I know that the "you betcha" attitude will help her win votes...but isn't that a little immoral to "play dumb" to get votes? I'm also sure that the dems play mind games like that as well - but it just doesn't seem so insulting. Also, at my campus (North Carolina State University), I can't believe how many Jesus freaks speak in the main quad area all the time. Really pisses me off.
  15. 1. Well, I admit that I'm a little ignorant...but didn't Obama have actual ideas about improving the country during the election? Didn't he have ideas such as healthcare reform, handling the wars etc? It seems like McCain/Palin just kept on saying things like "America!", and "We're Mavericks!", just trying to get an emotional foothold on the less-informed? 2. I'm scared of her becuse she seems to have enourmous influence on people, such as all the tea partiers and the people that they seem to have gotten elected. What do you mean with "crafty with a teleprompter"? btw, Lou Reed is awesome - Blue Mask is simply a classic.
  16. I've been thinking about this... thanks for the complex jacka**
  17. This woman gets front page attention every time she sneezes. Here is a partial list of things that she stands for/is associated with: 1. Denying gay couples the same status as traditonal couples - just as bad as segregated schools in the last century imo. 2. Promoting more Christian values - religion always leads to ignorance...see Iran, Iraq, etc 3. Does not understand on even a basic level current or future events - see youtube interviews 4. Gains a following by having vauge talking points and participating in semi-racist rallies 5. Was willing to become VP when she openly admitted she wasn't really sure what the VP does I'm not saying that Obama is the best guy in the world (although I admit I strongly support him), but why does she have such a strong following? I know that I've interjected a strong amount of my personal opinion in this post...but seriously...can someone who is more knowledgable on politics tell a baffled college kid why she is so powerful?
  18. YES, finally someone with some sense. ROTTEN PHIN GUTS >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>U2 I must disagree about the Beach Boys. Beach Boy albums that are absolute gems (in order of briliance): 1. SMiLE (unreleased 60's version, not the crappy re-make) 2. Pet Sounds 3. Today 4. Surfer Girl 5. LIttle Deuce Coup 6. Shut Down vol 2 7. Summer Days (and summer nights)
  19. So you work at Just Pizza huh? Second best pizza in WNY, behind Bocces (transit) of course
  20. Thinking again about my post... I guess it is ok to say that someone is attractive, but it just pisses me off how ESPN and other networks seem to only hire skimpy bimbos that arn't as good as some others in their analysis. When I'm watching the Bills I just don't really care to see some woman who thought that the Pats played the Jets in the SB a few years ago (http://abcnews.go.com/Sports/wirestory?id=11624750&page=3)
  21. This is a sexist thread and one day sexism will be looked at in the same class as racism.
  22. The game thread is essential. It's a document of what Bills fans are going through during the game. The chat room and shout box cannot be viewed a week after the game is over. What's with all the strict policy changes lately? If it aint broke then don't fix it.
  23. Ok, I've got the solution after much thought. It's unique, bold, and simple: T H R I L L
