  1. Moot so far because right now it's only one machine. If the tables were turned and Kerry's vote count was erroneously increased in a critical state, I'd imagine you might be a little upset yourself. Especially if he won.
  2. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out, no doubt. It's rediculous that machines used for such an important purpose were seemingly not thoroughly tested before being put into a real-life situation. It will be a big deal if this happend in many machines, but you're right, we'll have to wait and see.
  3. Percieved semantics, my friend. I've since stated what I meant.
  4. I take no joy in posting this because it will only further anger us Libs and is probably bad for the country. It seems there are problems with the machines in Ohio... http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/11/05/...s.ap/index.html
  5. This is a stretch right now, but IF the Bledsoe-led Bills find a way to beat both the Jets and the Pats, there's no way Bledsoe should be pulled even if Losman is healthy. I find it hard to believe we'll win both these games, but stranger things have happened.
  6. C'mon, do you really think Arnold has ever read ANY history book?
  7. The CORRECT DECISION may have included invading Iraq, but would also have been to gain support of the American people and the international community by presenting the FACTS about what was really going on in Iraq. They could have taken the time to find out for sure - then I could have supported a just war. We could have built off the momentum of 9/11 and Afghanistan and we'd now have more willing partners in fighting the War on Terror. Instead, the administration thumbed its nose at the rest of the world and lost whatever support and sympathy we had gained. Now we're facing a mess in Iraq and nobody in the civilized world trusts or willingly supports us. So yes, Dubya's administrations failed to make the CORRECT DECISION.
  8. I'm not defending Moore. Michael Moore is one man and holds no public office, while George Bush is the president and is supposed to be serving us all. Dubya should be held to a higher standard.
  9. Because we were either lied to or the administration acted on information that proved to be false and are therefore incompetent and should not be making such decisions. Had they presented these reasons for invading Iraq, it would be a different story and they could have garnered some international support. Stumbling into a good result does not justify their stated reasons for going to war in the first place. The way they went about it alienated nearly half the country and most of the world.
  10. You have stated that you did not support the decision to invade Iraq - with all of this compelling evidence, how could you not? Why were these not the reasons stated to the American people pre-invasion? Why were we instead told that Iraq definately had WMDs and posed a direct and immediate threat to the United States? I don't argue the merits of the results of the war, but the ends do not justify the means. Either we were blatently decieved or the people making the decisions were incompetent. Either way, the loss of American lives in Iraq is a constant reminder of this adminstration's failure to make the correct decision.
  11. Way to bring the country together, Dubya! Lead on, fearless leader!
  12. Are all the names listed here soldiers that died in Afghanistan? I think they probably died in Iraq, a country that has not been shown to have anything at all to do with Al Quada, who committed these disgustingly hellish acts on 9/11. Iraq has little to do with the War on Terra, so I can't really see see the connection to 9/11.
  13. Sig heil! (wow, that's twice that this repsonse has been appropriate to one of your posts in two days! keep up the good work )
  14. Ya, Hitler's probably over the top. Bad taste, my fault.
  15. There are a lot of words that available, but not nice to use. Didn't your mamma ever teach you that?
  16. I didn't know why he kept deleting it. You're right, it's not even that funny any more - the quote about tribal sovereignty is much more humerous!
  17. They'd probably complain about their inabilaty to practice their love with women all accross this country. HINT: THIS IS A REFERENCE TO DUBYA'S COMMENTS ON HEALTH CARE, NOT AN ACCUSATION OF RAPE BY ANY OBGYN! http://news.bostonherald.com/election/view...articleid=43150 I wouldn't want anyone to accuse me of posting in poor taste!
  18. It crosses the line in your opinion. They're expressing theirs and the 1st Amendment guarentees them the right. America is an all or nothing proposition, love it or leave it, right?
  19. In all honesty, thank you all for your service. God bless you, every one. However, this thread explains so very much about the views of some of my fellow Bills fans. We will never see eye to eye on many issues.
  20. Nobody will argue that Mr. Rove ran a wonderful campaign. Didn't some scapegoat from the Bush campaign resign over the fact that he was affiliated with SBVT?
  21. He has more of a right to say what he thinks about the war than somebody who was never there. Many of the recounts of his actions while there sound pretty heroic to me. My father was there for 8 months and came back with 2 purple hearts and a bronze star. He thinks the war was wrong too and supported Kerry. That's all I'm saying.
