By not having a (good) process in place to challenge plays e.g. Tyreek’s Bobble, Josh Allen’s 1st down against the Ravens, we are at a big disadvantage especially when we play better teams/coaches.

I see those 2 non challenges as big mistakes on Sean Mc and without timely mistakes from D Henry and The Dolphins we could easily be 1-2 vs 3-0.

Tonight I have McDermotts actions directly leading to 11 points for the dolphins (challenge would have put them 4th and 4 on the 1st drive - 7 points , and the bizarre time outs at the end of the half allowed Miami to go for a TD when they were content running the clock to keep Josh off the field - 4 extra points) Without that gift of the roughing the kicker penalty we could’ve easily lost last night because of these decisions.

Does this concern anyone else or am I missing something?

i don't see them as big mistakes at all.

allen's first down against the ravens...how many times do we need to challenge spots and fail? not clear enough, and any time there is a judgement call it probably goes against you. that goes for bobble call too, it's not clear enough to reverse. i mean, you might be right about those calls but a challenge needs more than being right.

and yeah, without the "gifts" we lose? if if if...maybe if kincaid catches the td we win easier.  maybe IF mcd challenged twice and lost them both and then IF they didn't call the roughing and we had no challenges we would have punted away and lost.

or, IF nothing changes at all, we won and it wasn't all that close.

I mean I still think we can win it in spite of him, but it is true that there is zero accountability for McD. Not for his defenses that have killed us in literally 6 postseasons in a row or his game management including being one of the worst at challenges in the league for such a long time. It's always someone else's fault.

zero accountability. yeah cause the only way i see of keeping him accountable is to fire him. and we would be fools to do so.

mcd knows whatever happens is ultimately his fault. any leader knows that.

The bomb to Patrick DeMarco was a more egregious play in that game, I thought. If that lateral was a foot higher, it would've gone down as one of the greatest plays in NFL history.

i loved the lateral. reckless sure, but so close to an awesome winning play.

  3. ah wonderful, just another excuse for americans to fight each other. you guys love that don't ya?

can all agree that this person was looney tunes? and can we also agree that both left and right has psychos that will kill in their name? and that said killers really are not on anyone's side, they are a killer, they are not on the side of humanity left or right.

like, what, does anyone here actually think the Rs or the Ds sent this kid out to do their bidding? Democrats directly made this happen? Republicans directly made this happen?

wtf is the point of this argument.  if this kid didn't get indoctrinated into one "side", chances are he would have found some other reason to kill someone else.

most of the people in your country who choose a side probably don't take the next step and actually go and kill someone. it takes a psycho to do that.

i mean, he didn't even take his own advice. play football and don't deal with nonsense. a single step backwards is all it would have taken.

and yeah, the kid was wrong and so ban him that's fine.

I heard he was kicked out.

Jackson should be fined though.  I don't really blame him doing what he did, but the NFL cannot sanction a player aggressively putting his hands on a fan, even if provoked like that.  There is a fine line between that and a player action that seriously injures someone.  There needs to be some sort of deterrent.... and that kind of fine won't harm Jackson's bank account.

i blame him. control yourself, it's not difficult.

This seems like a talking point. In what way is it a rugby play? And if it is….isnt a simple pitch play one also? OJ made a career out of that one.

And further, how is it relevant that rugby has a similar play? Seems odd to make rulings based on similarities to another game...

So, the truckers in Canada were simple, happy dullards until the "maga right" sent them $25 in donations?   As it relates to 1/6, the people who acted criminally were to blame regardless of whether some guy from Calgary sent some of those funny looking nickels their way.

You're pointing the finger of blame in the wrong direction.

I'll have you know our nickles are adorned with Big Beautiful Beavers!

and yeah, the trucker convoy was mostly fine. the problem was the provincial government didn't bother to enforce the laws and it got out of hand. which is to say, there were truck horns blasting 24/7 causing some sleepless nights for residents. the usa money thing is maybe true, but all it really did was enabled them to stay longer. they didn't really do much harm. they were misguided though, their main problem was vaccine mandates which was not a national thing for truckers, it was for when they crossed the border. so really, they should have been protesting Biden. oh well, their voice was heard across the would so i think from their pov it was a success.

  8. this happens in canada. whenever the conservatives surge, it becomes a 2 party race. we also like to vote in opposition to the usa. since the Rs are in the libs got a boost.

the cpc should have won but their leader had a very negative approach which doesn't work well here especially considering the above.

i doubt alberta will even vote to separate but if they actually do they will have a hard go of it. most of the province is on treaty land or crown land.

the libs minority is not weak, they only need 3 (edit: now 4) votes and there are many who have already proven they will work with them. so its libs for the next 3-4 years.

as for silly trade wars, i think we will all work together and be fine. we had our tiffs before and we will again, but we are absolutely better friends than enemies. personally i love the usa and all my friends and family there.

funniest part was the cpc leader losing his own seat. he has no seat in the house atm, he will have to convince another mp to resign so he can try to win a by-election.
