I've wondered this myself too. I really wish RWS was natural turf. Bears are in lousy weather and they have grass; plus the Pats and Pack. Why not Buffalo?

  2. Absolutley NOT! Football is meant to be played outside. Not some cushy dome. I never want to see the Bills and a dome together. Plus, It makes it fun when Miami comes to town.... HA HA!

I went to the Lions game in the old Silverdome, and let me tell you how lame and boring the atmosphere was. Granted, the Lions stink, but there was no fun in that stadium. Domes Blow - end of discussion.

  3. Potter Road.  Didn't that go all the way into OP? I think there were kids I went to elementary school with that lived on Potter.  I remember those stone animal statues near that big 70's style fireplace in the central area of the Seneca mall. I saw many movies there when I was younger.  Back in the day, that was the mall for the southtowns. There was that, Como, Eastern Hills (I still have no idea where that one is) and another somewhere in the Williamsville/Amherst area. I forgot the name.

It was the Boulevard Mall on Niagria Falls Blvd.

Eastern Hills is on Transit Road a little North of the I-90 NYS thruway overpass

I do remember the fireplace at the Seneca Mall!! Wierd! Directly across was Baskin & Robbins. Mmm!

  4. Lindell is gonna screw us outta 3 games this year im guessing. The guy is just not reliable at 40 or more yards. I mean, I honestly get nervous when he's out there. Can't we do something about this? Like find someone else? Draft perhaps?!

  5. A review of Antowain Smith's career with the Bills indicates he was more right than wrong.  Lasted 4 seasons, rushed for 2,932 yds (ave of 733 yds a season) , not exactly a home run for a 1st round pick.  Released & we got nothing in return.

New England did, Two Super Bowls with him. OUCH, that hurts!!

  6. I've skiied these in Colorado. Vail, Copper Mt, Arapahoe Basin, Winter Park and Breckenridge.

A Basin is my favorite for Colorado, but its mostly for advanced skiiers. Awesome Rock Park and super steeps. Vail = super expensive and not all that great. Copper is good and priced well with alot of terrain. Winter Park is kinda like A Basin in that it is tougher with more black diamonds. Breckenridge is good for long lazy slopes and family. They have some challenging runs too.

These are better if you want to go somewhere besides COL.

    Whistler Blackhomb in B.C.

    Alta, Utah

    Jackson Hole, Wyoming

All of these are so awesome and worth it. And yes, I'd have to say Utah has the best powder on Earth!

All you Eastcoast skiiers and boarders have nothing on the West!!

  7. Aside from Winfield, can anyone think of many free agents the Bills have released or not resigned recently that had a significant impact on their new teams?

Marcellius Wielly (sp?) was a great pickup when he left BUF but I think he only had that one solid yr after he left us. Maybe Sam Cowert too, but he was hurt for a year.

What about Coy Wire? Now theres a solid FA pickup! Bwwahaahahaha!

  8. Just wondering if anybody looking for a hockey fix is gonna go to HSBC to see the Amerks play. With the blue ice experiment going on, give us some feedback on how it looked and overall thoughts to it. Just curious myself. If it helps HDTV then I say they should consider it, but if its just a marketing ploy, then forget it. I've watched white ice for over 25 yrs now and I have no problem following the play or puck.

Reactions to the game would be cool for those of you going on Sunday the 20th. Thanks!

  9. Its funny how the media and non hockey people keep saying that "I can't follow the puck." Well, dummy, you don't follow the puck specifically, you follow where the players are going to, setting up, avoiding checks, flow of the game etc. I don't need to follow the puck every second to know where the play is developing.

I'm OK with changing the ice color shade if it helps HDTV, but i agree with other posters on this thread, that the Blue Lines to Orange and Center Line to Blue is not needed. Also, when they come back I hope they dump the Two Line Pass rule and reinstall Tag Up Off Sides.

  10. Ah, who cares what they say about not putting your own name on it. I did! It looks great and my reasoning is that I can NEVER be traded! A true Sabre Diehard!

    Here are some good ideas though;

Vanek, Briere, Roy, Miller, Drury, Hecht and Afinogenov

Dont get Satan, Zhitnik or Biron. Those guys are gonna be gone soon.

Next, wish for hockeys return SOON!! I hate basketball! ;)

  11. Exactly! Which is why TD is free to ignore the OL for another three years - especially now that he's got "The Miracle Worker" Anne Sullivan, er excuse me, Jim McNally here to create a HOF OL out of peanut shells and candybar wrappers.  0:)
