The pursuit of candidates at this time is very smart. This is the last time the Bills will have leverage due to them having the only open GM/Coach position at this time. This was probably Russ's idea and he sold it to Ralph. Once the season is over and multiple teams fire their coaches, the Bills will lose that leverage. On the other side, the potential candidates could wait until the end of the season to see what is available, which is probably what most will do. What we have here is a sense of urgency on the Bills behalf, knowing they can court all the highly qualified candidates and the knowledge by the candidates that the Bills want to get a deal done relatively quickly, giving them some leverage. For those interested, like Shanahan, this could mean a good deal and a chance for them to get a jump start on evaluating the team, assessing needs and building a short list for the the new staff. Both sides are ripe for a deal and I predict the Bills close this search out before the end of the season.

My guess is that they're talking about Real-T and the Ferguson brothers. Between them they have won every Super Bowl over the past 5 years. They'll probably bring in either Chapman or Bates to coach the D.

Who is missing from our D? Donte Witner? He can't tackle his own shadow. My point is, despite the deficiencies in our roster, our biggest liability is the management of our team.

I'm not saying incapable, I'm saying unprepared. Everybody knows the Titans offense goes through Chris Johnson, yet we did not key on him, shadow him or anything close. How about the option play? Who did our defense think was out on the flat waiting to get the pitch from VY? One of our slower than sh*t tight ends? With two weeks of preparation, a well managed team would have had a plan to take Chris Johnson away from the Titans and make VY beat us. It's scary when a fan can see through the game plan of a professional franchise.

Are you kidding me? Is that the best you can do? How long did you sit at your computer thinking that one up? But seriously, We took Mr. Larry to the Honky Tonks last night and had a great time. Spent a long time at Tootsies, the bands upstairs and downstairs were fantastic. Mr. Larry slipped off and said he had to pick up a souvenir for his girlfriend. Hmmmmm...... I am going to see if I can convince Mr. Larry to actually post something himself this weekend while he's at my house, he has an account on TBD, but doesn't use it. He really doesn't even like computers. He's old school, probably like Mr. Wilson. The weather in Nashville this weekend is perfect, should be in the low 70's and sunny for the game tomorrow. For those of you that have never been, I encourage you to plan a trip to visit, you will not regret it.

How much more of this do we have to take? Roscoe should have been benched after that -15 yard punt return. The fact he was even on the field after that horrible muff tells me these coaches are not in control of this team. (That's an understatement) This franchise has sunk below sea level.
