I heard a stat today that since the Pats/Packers Superbowl at least one home team has lost in the Conference Championship game every year since then. Home field advantage means little this week which is good for us football fans that want to see good games.

Sticking with a veteren cost us the playoffs among other things. Remember how few people wanted to switch to McGahee??? It was clear that he was not getting his job done early and MM left him in till it was literally too late. They wouldn't let Evans do his job either till mid season. This is a now league and I'm ready to see if JP is the real deal. A year understudy is enough already.

I think the Patriots would still win, but you're wrong that they would kill Vick. The Patriots are too old now. They will beat you with schemes and intelligence, not brute force. On the filp side, Vick's speed could kill the Patriots. I hope this is the Superbowl matchup because the Eagles are deadwood floating if it comes down to them and the Pats.

That's nothin. I read a story about a man who commited suicide by decapitation. Apparently he tied one end of a rope to a lampost and the other around his neck. He then proceeds to get in his car and floor it. Ouch.

That would be a fun Superbowl to watch. The simple reason being is that of course Belicheck would put a spy on Vick, but what the fun part would be is seeing Vick elude the spy time and time again. Mike Vick's scrambling reminds me of that old schoolyard game called "kill the guy". Where everyone tried to take down the guy with the ball. Vick's turbo superfast, a lot faster than the Pats linebackers no doubt.

I disagree. The Eagles will definitely lose this game. 1. McNabb has a history of playing badly in the championship game. 2. He has only one weapon and that guy is a runningback. 3. Vick has become an even better QB than he was when they beat Green Bay in the playoffs. You just can't gameplan against Vick's skills of running with the ball. 4. Falcons will handle the Philly offensive line. and it will be so much fun to watch the jerk Philly fans weep yet again.

Don't discount a bidding war for Bledsoe. There are a lot of teams that need QBs. Arizona, Dallas, Miami, Ravens, Redskins, Tampa Bay, Chicago, Detriot, possibly Green Bay... I think we could get a 4th rounder for him, maybe 3rd.

I know this sounds mean and sadistic, but I find it really fun watching other team's seasons come to an abrupt end this time of year. Gut wrentching OT losses (Chargers, Jets) or embarassing defeats (Colts), it doesn't matter. As long as the team and it's fans are crushed. Next on the chopping block...Pittsburg and the Eagles!

What's the difference between 2 or 3 Superbowl wins? It's beyond the point of getting worked up about. I care about the Bills, but I can still respect a team like the Pats. The Pat fans deserve to gloat, wouldn't you if the Bills were that good?

If it comes down to Pats and Eagles I'll be hoping the Pats crush them. As was said earlier, Philly fans deserve their misfortunes. I do hope the Eagles lose this week so I can root for the Falcons.

The Jets probably let him walk after his injury no mas playoff move. Let Jennings go and give that money to Abraham. We've got options for the line, Trey Teague to LT? Mike Williams to LT? Maybe our 2nd rounder will be a offensive lineman that could plug a hole. This team will not win with offense so lets make the defense the nastiest in the league.

I'm actually glad they waxed the pansy-@ss Colts. They showed the Colts what happens to fluffy overated indoor football teams in January. A team that thought the Pats were "ripe for the picking". Give me a break! Holding Manning and the Colts to 3 points was a truly amazing feat. The Pats are a great football team and should be shown a little props from Buffalo fans. I can appreciate what playing great football looks like in 2005 because they are it, end of story.
