Really. Like what other choice do they have and the team is 2-0. Bold statment by Jets. He will stink it up soon. Buy your Fitz jersey now because it goes down hill from here. Fitz will never be the reason they win a game. He is a manager of clock and ball distribution, not going to light a defense for 300 yards. Think Trent Dilfer. Manage the game play great defense maybe late in the 4th you get a shot at a game winning field goal.

No. Cause Andrew Luck has no offense and Ryan Fitzpatrick is a noodle arm inacurate qb. No. I think Stevie Johnson said one time they ran a "pop gun" offense under Gailey and Fitz, last nights game displayed this. Their defense got alot of turnovers for Fitz and they could'nt score. Jets only scored 20 against the Colts 3rd and 4th secondary.
I would be a concerned with jets offense lack of talent depth and age. Decker injured last night mcl- acl. Their defense is good though.

Darby, unless he gets beaten badly or cost us a game. Brooks would be my next choice. Grahm has lost some speed, dont know if he could cover all the routes. Safety is good spot him.

Incognito i think is much better than levitre. He doesnt get man handled and can run block better. Incognito has played very well in preseason. If we would have kept him the first time around and built around him this team would have beeen better off. Wood played his best ball when incognito was next to him.

From reports cassel has not impressed ryan in mini camp. I think cassel is washed up. He may have the brain, but his arm is not impessive and accuracy is an issue from what ive seen of him in minnesota. He couldnt beat out rookie bridgewater, and he will not beat out ej. If he dont his jack together he will be out of the nfl by sep.. I feel we really need to look at some other teams cuts, because we need a orton type vetern. There is to much talent on this team to be let down by poor qb. Play. Hopefully ej learned his lesson last year from benching, because he is on his last audition for the bills. Its now or never. Im really pulling for ej. Ive seen moments of greatness.

Fred Jackson can run screens pretty good, mccoy i have no idea. Maybe that new back out of fsu is good at screens also. I love Richie Incognito pulling on anything the guy is freight train and freddie will be his caboose. Urbick used to be decent at pulling and screens but last year he didnt get on the feild, this year he will back up every interior lineman. The guard from lousville i think maybe screens and pulling is his strenghth. Screen passes can be difficult for some qbs because its a timing touch pass. I dont ej was very good at.

Its the weakest postion on the team. If a vet is cut from another you bet i would sign him and get rid of taylor and sims. I just cant picture cassel as a starter his ceiling has been hit. Back up only. Ej is the future he's got to be the man its his for the taking. Idont taylor either i think he is a gimmick style qb who likes to run for his life and he isnt very big, backup only.

Byrd is just a center fielder deep ball hawk free safery. He is not a hitter like whitner, not that whitner is a heavy hitter he just thinks he is. Byrd will never have success like he did in Buffalo. I vote for Eric Pears. If moved back to right tackle he will have a succesful season. Lee Smith is also a dominating run blocker and an antagonist also he can catch, occasionaly, but dont ask him to be a starter he is only #2 guy. Smith is about as good at blocking as Chandler is receiving. Toghether they were just not good enough.

Oleary will be a stud for years. He is tuff old school kind of player. He has the knack for finding open spots in defenses and rarely drops the ball has really good hands. I just dont see how any qb will not be good this year. With all this talent someone should be always open as long as our line can pass protect and pick up the stunt or twist defensive pass rush. Our guards were terrible last year.

Got to agree Chris Williams is dead man walking. Never liked the signing either. I think he has a bad back death sentance for lineman. Think we got damaged goods and Rams knew

You never can have too many backs. Last year fred and cj went down and what its was boobie time. Boobie is a fearless head down hard runner nut its one cut and a cloud of dust with him hes short yardage and thats it. Bryce has better vision and run skills hes just stuck behind mccoy again and not happy. We will carry three backs.

The pats will pick him up and he will rush for 1200 and 16 tds. Having his best games againt the bills rushing 150 and 2 tds
I dont think we can judge Bryce soley on his performance last year. You could put oj simpson back there and he would have struggled. Our line was bad.

They will not dump on EJ this year. Alot riding on him. He is mobil like kapernick, Roman likes this, not only to occasionally run the ball, but to change the launch point of the ball. The days of the qb standing in the pocket are far and few, brady and payton are the best but defenses are catching on with better pass rushers. If you move the qb defenses dont know where to attack. It becoming a game of speed and finesse and less about power. Rex is building power to counter this speed. A mobil big qb is must to roll away from the blitz and coverage.

A lot more teams will go for 2. Better have good goal line defense which we have i think better than most teams. Last year it seemed like we bent didnt break style defense. Gave up alot of yards between the 20s but held good when teams got in our red zone. Our red zone offense on the other was paltry at best. We might kick for one. Rex is gambler and a trickster though it will make for some interesting calls. Fans will be like they should have gone for 2 or why didnt they kick it?

We have no tackles behind Glenn and Henderson. Koujandijio had better show something. I would feel better if Williams was let go and vet tackle bought in for depth. Richardson and Urbik can fight for right guard,loser backs up. Incognito should start left guard. Urbik will make team again as he can play all interior postions.

Got to say Chandler. We are scary thin at OT. Glen,Henderson a 7th rd pick,and Kouja. Guy that couldnt block a paper bag. What happens if one goes down, which Glenn has done before? You got paper bag boy starting, not good. We must find a vet cut from another tdam as depth or udfa must shine.

Chris Cooley wont be able to hold Nicks jock strap by mid season. Nick is more powerful and athletic. He has groomed himself as an nfl te since high school and sees himself as first round talent. He will not settle for losing has always been on winning teams. Im telling you we got the best te in the draft. This guy is will pay big dividends for 6th round. We have not had this talent at te since Metzellers.
