  1. I can try MIRc, it just seems odd since I have often been in gametime chats...new software?
  2. I also cannot get in. I get to the screen where it says enter user name/email, and then it doesnt load from there. Tried Firefox and IE and no luck...any ideas?
  3. Well...sounds like a perfect fit for DA RAIDAS
  4. Dont get your hopes up. Every year things get turned upside down in this league. Our schedule was supposed to be pretty tough this year...its not. NYJ were supposed to be good, they are not. Tampa Bay was supposed to be horrendous, theyre not. Look all over the league, there are suprises everywhere. You cant base ANYTHING on next years schedule.
  5. What you guys are missing is that Holcolmb is going to be 33 opening day next year. He is not young. He IS NOT THE FUTURE of this franchise. JP may not be either, but holcolmb is NOT.
  6. The problem is that Mularkey is not in the mindset of developing a QB. He is in the "win at all costs (to save my job)" mindset. This is the problem. Also dont discount the possiblity that JP may actually BE injured.
  7. Dont forget he will be 33 years old on opening day. He is no spring chicken
  8. Well, I did pretty well considering I lost Deuce McCallister, Javon Walker, Darrell Jackson and Micheal Clayton dropped dead. No playoffs in my league, just 17 weeks. I am sitting pretty at 8-8 right now, might win next week as my opponent has Peyton Manning and David Gerard on his roster.
  9. I think bringing Favre in here to mentor losman could be the BEST move. Losman is in love with Favre...and could only help the kid get better.
  10. Exactly guys. This year proved NOTHING. JP knows that, we all know that. I think he can be a great QB in this league...but he needs to PLAY
  11. I know...had to try though..it was too good to let go.
  12. Do Kelly Holcomb and Mark Campbell count
  13. Tennessee - 113 (Plays MIA, JAX) Detroit - 113 (PIT, NO) Arizona - 113 (PHI, IND) Buffalo - 113 (CIN, NYJ) NY Jets - 116 (NE, BUF) Baltimore - 118 (GB, MIN, CLE) Now, if buffalo goes 4-12...the jets get 5 wins. You have to assume detroit will beat NO. Baltimore is crushing GB at the moment, so assume 5 wins for them. That leaves Ten, Buf and arizona as the only teams with 4 wins. Unfortunatly GB is losing...so they stay ahead of us for now. They can beat Chicago, and seattle should be resting week 17. I honestly think, SOS in our favor, the draft goes like this. 1) SF - Bush 2) Hou -D'Brick or trade down 3) NO-Lienert 4) GB 5) Buf
  14. I believe we came to the conclusion that this was wrong because it only calculated SOS based on the games played instead of on the entire schedule...
  15. Oh, but yes they are out of the running...Hou plays SF week 17, so one of them will have a maximum of 3 wins...
  16. a) Houston plays SF, guarenteeing one of them will have 3 wins. More importantly, one of them WILL have 13 losses, thus the #1 overall pick CANNOT be buffalos. b) The true value of the #1 pick this year is not reggie bush, its being able to trade out of the #1 slot and get a TON for it. c) Buffalos stength of schedule is weak, and thus will pick above all the other 4 win teams (assuming we lose out and SOS does not change). d) GB/NO/SF/NYJ/HOU are the only teams tat can finish with less than 4 wins, and thus the only teams which CAN pick ahead of buffalo (again assuming we lose out, and SOS remains the same). GB plays Baltimore tomorrow, and will play a resting seattle team week 17. The jets play us...so if we lose out, obviously they win game #4. NO plays detroit next week, a very winable game. So its VERY PROBABLE if we lose out, we wind up with the #3 pick behind HOU and SF. Now, that said, #3 is a tough spot, have to see how it plays out, but it might be hard to move from there unless there becomes a clear top 3 candidate. Right now, Bush and Leinert are (in my opinion) a clear #1 and #2, but #3 becomes somewhat fuzzy, and thus teams will be less likely to desire the pick. Should be interesting.
  17. I personally liked the one at the detroit game today. It said "dont hate the players, hate the GaMe (with a and e written very small and GM written very large)
  18. Before this week, the bills had a very bad SOS. Worse than almost any team in the league. I do not know how this weekends outcomes affected that.
  19. I have to admit, it IS the first time i have heard it used with buffalo in it...
  20. Hired as a "consultant" not a head coach
  21. Probably bad timing for this, cuz antonio brown had one heck of a game last night for green bay...
  22. The thing with losman I like, is that i rarely see him make a mental error. He doesnt take a sack when he could throw it away. He knows when to scramble and he finds open receivers. Sometimes he makes bad throws, but all in all he shows some good progress to me.
  23. This doesnt include today...but Losmans stats vs. Eli's last year 103/201 (51.2) 1159yds 7TD/5int Rating 70.1 04-05 Eli Manning 95/197 (48.2%) 6TD/9int Rating 55.4 So before you go completly jumping off the JP bridge, give the kid a chance. And if you have been watching him AT ALL, the kid has shown signs of brillance. His performance today was not THAT bad. It was poor, but he had MANY MANY dropped passes today.
  24. Only problem...4 years ago we were sayign "I hope we end up with a great lineman, such as Bryant McKinney or Mike Williams"
