  1. To be fair, this analysis is based on the solid foundation that is (as Dave called it) boilerplate postgame comments.
  2. Seems reasonable. I guess your 10-6 prediction after the Jets game was a little off.
  3. Yeah but JP doesn't have future Canton inductee Rashad Caldwell. Go JP! Sorry the other 52 players suck JP!
  4. And Atlanta wins it... Jim Nance STFU...sudden death >>>>>>>>>> college rules.
  5. Yep, I don't really 'hate' Bellicheck or any of the players (except maybe for Harrison). Still an easy team to hate though because of their jackass fans and the officiating alliance.
  6. Fortunately the Saints are on a bye so I didn't have a choice At one point they had 35 points and like 200 yards of offense.
  7. Well K. Jones ended up having the better game regardless. Doesn't look like it will matter, as villian has Westbrook & Ward Fortunately I have Ward & Vick in my other league.
  8. But a 6-3 win is realistic?
  9. Yeah, I'd give Houston the edge on us at their place. GB, Tenn, and hopefully 1 upset along the way for 5-11.
  10. How can this sorry team not afford to lose anybody? What are we going to do, go 5-11 without him?
  11. I'm sure they're playing the same defense on 1st&10 as 3rd&90
  12. The difference is McNabb doesn't suck every week.
  13. Well that didn't take long.
  14. lol@ UCLA "very good". I like ND but lets face it....overrated. Texas with a luckbox victory of their own. Nebraska plz recover a fumble and tell Callahan time outs don't carry over to the next game; thanks.
  15. I know, that fumble made me sick. Other than the minutes prior to Syracuse-Kansas championship game, that was probably the only time in my life where I actually had a good sports feeling in my stomach. I was sure they were going to win the game. I kept waiting for one of Kelly's outside comebacks to get picked off in the 1st half, but Billy Brooks was open every time. We were just carving them up. The shovel pass at the end of the 1st half was slightly disturbing though.
  16. On the flip side, he seems to think a lot of Josh Reed.
  17. Both wideouts sounds good. I like Driver, Brown, and Brad Johnson in that order.
  18. kegtapr is right...gamblers gamble a lot but they're not a significant enough portion of the population to matter in an election.
  19. What were you expecting when he took over - a repeat of the early 90's dynasty? They're going to have a winning record for the 3rd time in 4 years and it was a horrible franchise when he took over (not unlike every other team he's been with). John Fox has done a nice job; I'm not sure what he has to do with anything. Is that supposed to be proof that inexperienced, inexpensive coaches are just as likely to succeed as proven Hall of Famers?
  20. I didn't want Mike Sherman either - his ridiculous punt in the playoffs in Philly on the 40 yd line, when they had a chance to clinch the game with an inch when Ahman Green had 200 yards - was all I needed to know about him as a coach. I'm sorry but Parcells is a great coach. Yes they're overhyped by the media at times and yes it's annoying - but he took over a team that was 5-11 three years running and had them in the playoffs year 1 with a QB/RB combo of Quincy Carter and Troy Hambrick; they could very well win a tough division in year 4.
  21. I think Eli is vastly overrated myself. His accuracy sucks, his consistency sucks, and I think he'd look even more lost than he does already at times without Burress. And yes, the name "Manning" helps the perception of him too. But even I have to admit he has a knack of executing clutch drives in the 4th Qtr, which JP hasn't shown yet. I think that the discrepancy in supporting casts is overestimated by this board, as the Giants OL is nothing special, nor is the depth in their WR core; they just have that extra weapon at TE.
