  2. I used to laugh off comparisons between the Bills-Pats and the Bills-Dolphins rivialries. But unless Jauron puts one over on Belichick next year, we're going to be 2-18 in the 2000s. It's not quite 0-20, but it's awfully close.

Since I never experienced the 70's with the Bills-Dolphins, I never understood why the Bills couldn't win just one game in that decade. This post made me realize that I'm rooting for that same team.

  3. I have seasons and live in Baltimore as well. I went to every game last year and have only missed the NYJ game this year. I highly recommend getting seasons, because even if you only go to two or three games, you can likely make money off of selling your tickets, or you can give them to family/friends. And the trip ain't so bad if you've got good company with you.

MCGEE NOT PRACTICING: Terrence McGee is not practicing today. We'll have an update as to why after practice. Derek Fine is the only other player not practicing.

I'm not suprised or worried. This is the guy with the nickname "Gameday" because he would be hurt all week and then his injury wouldn't show at all on Sundays.

  5. my boys and i will be wearing cheesy-oldschool tux's to every home game this year. one red, one white and one blue. ill be rocking the blue. itll match my gorgeous eyes....ladies.

just ordered 'em here in rochester and it should be hilarious.

anyone else doing anything ritualistic for gameday?

Great idea. I'm in 331 as well so I'll be lookin' for ya.

  6. The same can be said for the bills

The Bills draft Todd Collins in the 2nd round 1995

Jim Kelly retires after the 1996 season

The Bills trade a 1st round pick in 1998 for Rob Johnson

The Bills trade a 2003 1st round pick in 2002 for Drew Bleadsoe

The Bills trade a 2005 1st round, a 2004 2nd round, and other picks for JP losman in 2004

The Bills use a 3rd round pick on Trent Edwards in 2007

How the hell did trading a '97 3rd-round pick for Billy Joe Hobert not make this list?

  7. Yeah, not only that, I really don't wanna pay about $50 to park there for a pre-season game. That place is a joke. Too much so to attend a pre-season game there.

Or how about that experience where you tailgate in office building parking lots and take a shuttle to the stadium and it takes over an hour and a half to get back to your car? :D That place is built for the people in the luxury suites who leave at the end of the third quarter.

  8. I guess I have to admit first and foremost that I was born and raised in MD. But my parents are both from different parts of WNY and I have a lot of family still in the area and I'm up north quite frequently.

I'm now running a wine store in north Baltimore and when I started working there, a wine distributor gave us a knight statue to put out front. Needless to say, he cycles through a few different jerseys throughout the year. Right now he's wearing a Peerless Price jersey, but he's also fond of a Milloy away jersey as well as some Sabres threads during hockey season. The Ravens fans aren't too nice to me. But we do get a few customers that stop in because they're from Buffalo and they saw the jersey out front.
