  1. what you just posted is the exact thing that is wrong with sports fans
  2. honestly, would he make that much of a difference?
  3. tell me, who are these 2 excellent receivers you speak of??
  4. Considering that our O-line is a noticable weakness on the offense, (especially the pass protection) why doesnt the offense try this: -Use some 2-tight end sets, if the defense blitzes they stay back for protection, if they dont, they can go out on a passing route. -Campbell is a decent blocker and I like what I see out of Euhus' routes and receiving. -Also, I think the offense should stick with 2-Wr sets primarily. 3-Wr sets work when you have a #3 who can catch the ball. Reed cant handle this and Shaw doesnt get the playing time. -One last thing, Mcgahee is obviously a much better blocker than Henry. So give him some more time in there. -Just some thoughts about improving our pass protection, MM probably already tried this but I havent seen much of it.
  5. stevestojan, I understand that rothlisberger is doing well. However, a player is as good as the players around him. -give me puttsburg's o-line, heinze ward, antwaan randle el, plaxico burress, duce staley and i'll have a solid game. -losman would probably do well on that team too. i just dont see him doing much with our o-line here, as well as our wr's which frequently drop routine passes.
  6. I'm tired of people hailing losman and mcgahee as our saviors. yes, they have bright futures, but they arent going to turn this season around. losman is a rookie, with a rookie head coach and a terrible o-line, so I dont expect him to do anything spectacular this year at least. -so let's all just do ourselves a favor and come back to the reality that it an 0-4 start with an 0-2 divisional record. -but hey look on the bright side, at least we'll have a high 1st rounder next year -oh wait nevermind, tom DONABLOW traded it away :I starred in Brokeback Mountain:
  7. i like the ricky williams part, thats definetly what his life consists of right now
  8. how could you possibly defend someone who makes millions of dollars a year to play a game? sorry But if YOur making that much, criticism comes with the territory, just like dealing wtih the media -and you know what, no i cant do half of the things these athletes do, but i wasnt gifted like these guys are in that sense so im workin my ass off here in college -you act like these guys dont have the talent and skill to pull these things off granted mistakes happen but many of these guys dont appreciate the money they make and take it for granted
  9. another thing that really bothers me about mularkey is that like gregg williams, he shows little emotion. -get in one of your players' faces, jump up and down when you make a big play, fire up your team, DO SOMETHING -primarily get pissed off and show your players who's boss and let them know through actions not words, that if you do something stupid (fletcher, clements) you will be punished -quit tryin to make friends and start winning football games
  10. http://www.buffalonews.com/editorial/20041007/3050737.asp -how dare dicesare defend mularkey in any way. His team is undisciplined and the three losses come from mistakes as well as attitude, things that can be correctable with a good, disciplined coach. -as much as I hate his philosophies, I'm starting to wish Donablow would've hired Coughlin
  11. I agree with JSP. I place the blame for not being AT LEAST 2-1 on mularkey and the boys
  12. the way I look at it, all 3 of these games could have been won. The main reason I see being untimely and foolish penalties. It comes down to discipline, and I dont think Mularkey has that as a head coach, yet at least. This team has way too much talent to start 0-3 likes this. I put my fair share of the blame on the coaching staff, mainly mularkey. yes it is his first head coaching stint, but I dont see it as acceptable.
  13. hey indy dave, where did you get your degree from and where have you done your sports writing? also, was it difficult to find a job given the small number of jobs in that field? thanks
  14. as awful as the game is going, this commentating crew is much much better than criqui and tasker. tasker is as dry as a desert and criqui is anti bills
  15. gannon is excellent where bledsoe is lacking. whenever gannon is under pressure, he either dumps it off or throws it away. (yes he is mobile but when hes in the pocket) bledsoe just wont change it seems.
  16. shane matthews?? your kidding right?? next thing your gona say is that your voting for kerry
  17. indy dave, im a big travis henry fan and yes there were other dropped passes. however, none of them resulted in an int. the ball when off his hands and ended up in an opposing players' hands. blame goes to henry.
  18. i dont understand why he didnt get rid of the ball instead of taking a sack and costing us a possible 3 points
  19. true but dont jump the gun, this game isnt over and its only WEEK 2
  20. seeing these posts saying ''bills suck'' and all this from supposed bills fans makes me sick. ya theyre not playing very well but dont change your opinion on the team because of one half of football. jeeez
  21. thats what i was wondering and why i posted the topic
