  1. If it was up to me I'd legalize everything, scrap the war on drugs(which is a complete joke) and take 1/3 of the war on drugs money and use it towards awareness and use the other 2/3 on alternative energies. Crime would be cut in half at the very least but the FDA would become even worse than it is now, that would be the only negative IMO.

Crime would double. You would see more DUIs, more robberies to support their habit, and higher health care costs.

  2. America is already reeling from health costs. Both patients and hospitals. Via Newsweek...

No one in America should be one catastrophic illness or accident away from financial ruin for themselves and their family. No one.

Except the illegals which are a major cause of the problem.

  3. Where did you dream that up? An Indy win wont keep us out of the playoffs if we finish 11-5 or 10-6. Chances of us losing only one more game... below 50%, but Indy winning does not eliminate us, just makes it harder.

Please reference the tie scenario thread posted a few weeks ago. Crayonz explained everything in there.

  4. Here is the play by play.

    1-10-NYG 12 (8:40) (Shotgun) 13-K.Warner pass short middle to 81-A.Boldin to NYG 4 for 8 yards (58-A.Pierce).

    2-2-NYG 4 (7:55) (Shotgun) 34-T.Hightower left tackle for 4 yards, TOUCHDOWN.

(Kick formation) TWO-POINT CONVERSION ATTEMPT. 9-D.Johnson pass to 93-C.Campbell is incomplete. ATTEMPT FAILS. Muffed hold

    NYG 7 ARZ 9 Plays: 7 Possession: 3:47

    New York Giants at 07:51

1-N.Rackers kicks 71 yards from ARI 30 to NYG -1. 44-A.Bradshaw to NYG 21 for 22 yards (46-T.Castille). PENALTY on ARI-22-M.Ware, Offside on Free Kick, 5 yards, enforced at ARI 30 - No Play.

    1-N.Rackers kicks 75 yards from ARI 25 to NYG 0. 87-D.Hixon to ARI 17 for 83 yards (21-A.Rolle).

    1-10-ARI 17 (7:33) 44-A.Bradshaw left end pushed ob at ARI 15 for 2 yards (24-A.Wilson).

  5. I love these clowns that say "but they scored 30 on us" like they've never watched a blowout before...how many times did NE give up over 25 points last year when they poured it on a team early? The game has been played like that for as logn as I can remember.

The difference is NE will have their 3rd string in when the garbage points are scored. Buffalo on the other hand still had their 1st string in while getting torched for 30 plus.

At least nobody got hurt. This board would have imploded if Lynch would have gotten hurt on a garbage run in the 4th quarter.

  6. According to Billboard.biz, GUNS N' ROSES' new single, "Chinese Democracy", has made a splashy bow across a bevy of Billboard's and Radio and Records' rock airplay charts — after only five days of airplay. It debuts at No. 12 on Mainstream Rock, No. 15 on Active Rock, No. 37 on Modern Rock and No. 7 on Rock. On Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart, which began in 1981, it's the band's best debut since 1991 when "Don't Cry" opened at No. 4.

Swofford: We 'welcome dialogue on what's best for college football'

BCS coordinator John Swofford responded to a stepped-up playoff push by Obama that was broadcast on CBS' "60 Minutes" on Sunday. President-elect Obama also lobbied for a college football playoff in an interview with ESPN that was broadcast the night before the presidential election during halftime of Monday Night Football.

"First of all I want to congratulate newly elected President Obama and I am glad he has a passion for college football like so many other Americans," Swofford said in a statement. "For now, our constituencies -- and I know he understands constituencies -- have settled on the current BCS system, which the majority believe is the best system yet to determine a national champion while also maintaining the college football regular season as the best and most meaningful in sports."

Swofford added: "We certainly respect the opinions of president-elect Obama and welcome dialogue on what's best for college football."

Obama said he will use his influence to create such a system.

"If you've got a bunch of teams who play throughout the season, and many of them have one loss or two losses, there's no clear decisive winner. We should be creating a playoff system," he told reporter Steve Kroft.

According to Obama's proposed system, eight teams would play over three rounds to settle the national champion.

"It would add three extra weeks to the season," he said at the conclusion of a wide-ranging interview. "You could trim back on the regular season. I don't know any serious fan of college football who has disagreed with me on this. So, I'm going to throw my weight around a little bit. I think it's the right thing to do."

In other news, ESPN bid $125 million (a year) for the rights to the BCS games. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=3709030

  8. Funny that he considers Social Sercurity and Medicaid as entitlement. Call me crazy, but since I pay into it, I am quite sure that I am entitled to it.

We all pay an obscene amount of money into Roosevelt's public welfare system. I think it's only fair that we all get our share when it's our time.

  9. Dude - you are a lemming.

I'm not saying you are wrong or right, you're just a lemming. It's rhetoric. A speech. Words that were spoken into the evening air and disappeared just as quickly. It came off as a stump speech. The problem is that Obama has NO history of backing up those words. In fact, he has the one of the most partisan voting records in the Senate - when he actually decided to cast a yea or nay vote. So, in fact, his scant history speaks against everything he said.

So, what is in Obama's heart? I don't know. But you sure as heck don't know either.

And the American public bought it... hook, line, and sinker.
