Generate a pass rush...those long developing routes, seam routes & WR's finding/sitting in soft spots in our zone wont kill us as often
-
Secondly, did you watch yesterday's game? Marshall and Royal were both open most of the game. A true #1 like Marshall makes a rookie like Royal look that good.
Difference in QB has nothing to do with that...
-
Edwards atleast made an attempt yesterday on the Evans PI....It was a horribly thrown ball but atleast the attempt was made....
-
If you want to know why no one was around it's part of the FS's job to pick the side of the field you think the ball is going to. I watch him closely every game and he isn't a FS or a SS that changes games.
You really have no clue....
-
I wouldnt April as the head coach, surround him with coaches that will build our gameplans around our talents strengths....
-
George Selvie will be this years Terrell Suggs.

Watch the whole thing, the guy has a 6:40 highlight video of sacks and TFL as a soph.
He needs to put on some weight....
-
Start McKelvin now...let Greer rest/heel up
Sign Greer long term....
let Mcgee walk when his contract is up....
That should be the way we go....
but it wont
-
he's right, but the last quote he meant because the 2 minute warning would probably have hit even if there was an incompletion - meaning that it was the one time left in the game where it would make sense to consider passing from a clock management perspective
Thats not true....check the play Losman is being sacked at 2:04...if he throws it away its incomplete at about 2:02....
-
Whitner is playing hurt and teams know that....prior to his injury they wouldnt even test him...Now...different story...
the haters can finally come out, and blast him for a bad game.....
-
Yeah, that Brandon Jacobs is nothing but a big pansy.
WEll Jacobs is hurt.....but still shouldnt be in the shotgun form there...
-
shotgun form....gotta luv it
-
He'd go well with Lee Evans........
He'll be a Dolphin next year
-
To me it's the play calling. 2nd and goal and we pass twice when we were running with no problem. Running Marshawn once in the 4th quarter. Bad play calling.
Is exactly the reason we lost....
We dont put the ball in our best players hands.....
-
Edwards problem is not his arm strength...its his confidence.....
when he is confident, he makes throws....
-
Also, if he tried to catch the ball with his hands it more than likely would have been broken up as well as the defender hit both his arms on his follow through. would have been a miraculous catch either way...
You always....always catch it with your hands.....
-
ok, i watched the play and the replay in slow motion on tivo three times and it clearly shows that the defender had his right arm at Roscoe's waist level while the ball is in the air. When it arrives, the defender had his arm at chest level and his arm knocked the ball away. No way was that a drop, period. The defender just made an excellent play on the ball. It was clearly knocked away when it hit his forearm..... by the way, the pass was indeed on the numbers, unfortunately, so was the defender's arm...
Di you watch the play with your eyes closed...?? The defender did not have his arm in there...the ball bounced off Roscoe's chest...the defender arm came in right after and hit Roscoe's right arm....
THe problem is he tried to catch it with his body...instead of making the catch with his hands
-
If it was Royal, I would expect a drop, but Roscoe has the hands to catch that ball and should have.
The problem is he didnt try to catch it with his hands....he went at it with his body and thats why the defender was able to break it up....
-
Turk is a joke and isnt any better then Fairchild. The Bills needed a proven offensive co-ordinator but instead hired a guy that never called plays before and its showing. He doesnt have a clue how to call a game and clearly doesnt understand that they should be running more then passing.
Its completely unacceptable that Lynch only had 15 carries today and only 1 in the 4th quarter
I said his a couple weeks ago and got killed...
Turk has been terrible.....
-
I was about to post this....
I couldnt believe we ran Jackson up the gut when Lynch was gashing them every chance he got....
unreal
-
so let me get this straight ..
his time, in the arizona game, where he came in with no practice reps as the starter, convinced you that he's not a good starting quarterback? hahahahaha, good one.
YEP his 3 quarters of near perfect QBing were bad too....
And it was his fault Jenkins jumped offsides on a FG...and Royal Fumbled the next drive....essecntially taking us out of that game in the 4th quarter....thats when everything feel apart on offense....but the JP haters wont give him credit for keeping us in that game up to that point...
-
Until the 2nd half of the Cleveland game, the run-blocking and our "running game" did look like sh--.
What are you talking about?? We had 18 carries for 87 yards in the first half...??
-
Ask Matt Ryan (or Kordell Stewart or Tommy Maddox) what he thinks of Mularkey.
You know the difference between a OC & a head coach??
-
11-8
Dont you mean 10-9??
-
he goes somewhere as a backup...if he's lucky, he might even be a #2 QB not a #3.
He's going somewere to have a chance to atleast compete for the #1 spot.....no doubt about it....and someone will give him a contract and a chance....
2006 was better then most people give credit for...
How do you define a #1 WR?

The problem is our OC's have trouble doing one basic thing.....
Designing play that get the ball into your playmakers hands....
Were are the WR screens, hitch/dig routes, quick slants...
Even reverses to him....
Get the ball in his hands
