If they sign someone, it will be a Murphy replacement, no?
I hear what you're saying, but all I can say is I hope not.

I think it depends on the size of the investment. With each passing day, it gets smaller.

Still out there heading into Day 3: Houston, Ingram, Clowney, Dunlap, and Reddick.
None are perfect fits, but all are upgrades on Addison.

A little hard to believe that the team that traded for Ngakoue mid season made such a sudden and sharp change in approach. Not impossible, just hard to believe.

I'll take Justin Houston.

I'm thinking he does take a big pay cut, I wouldn't be surprised if it is as much as you just stated.
This is not a good year to get a lot of money due to the reduced cap, plus he's in his 30's and he didn't have a hot year. I would say $5 million range sounds about right.
The cut is based on salary (~$7 million), not cap hit ($10 million). So, a $5 million cut would reduce the actual money he takes home for playing this year down to ~$2 million. That might not even be the vet minimum for him.

DiMarco also got hurt as I recall.

This worries me. Makes me believe Bills won’t go big on a DE in free agency which we desperately need in order to even touch the chiefs.
Me, too. But I think they cut DiMarco even after he took a pay cut last year, so there is still hope.

Seems like Quinton Jefferson.

I wonder how many on this board would gladly take Jimmy Graham's production at Jimmy Graham's contract for a vet tight end option (Ertz, Rudolph, etc.).
2 years/$16 million
456 yards, 8 TDs

This will give us some more room in the cap.
Yeah, no word on numbers yet, but a good bet it will lower his 2021 $6.7 million cap hit.

We all know Ciara will choose the team
Isn't demanding a trade effectively waving the clause? Not talking legally, but practically?

Take it fwiw - on the locked on bills podcast today he had a guest podcaster named Joe Miller. Miller does the Overreaction podcast with John fina. Miller prefaced this by saying he “doesn’t have great sources” but someone who he called “close to the organization” sent him a DM sometime last week and it said 80% chance Watt was signing with the Bills. Again, just a fwiw nugget.
Nothing specific to this comment, Yolo, but I don't like being the leader a week ago. It suggests some roadblock that the parties can't get past. I guess there can be some unique circumstances here relating to the unknown salary cap, but I would think, if the parties agreed on 2/25 (for example), they would be able to fit that in regardless.

Bills to let Milano test FA market. That’s all.
Story says nothing about whether the Bills will use the tag, right?

My wife and I left our Honeymoon in Aruba a day early to go to that game...... It was the only thing I asked for at all at our wedding and because she is the best thing that ever happened to me she agreed.
The game was awful, and the only thing colder than the rain were the looks my wife would give me over leaving paradise a day early.
She still complains about it any chance she gets.
I went with my girlfriend. She sat through the nonstop rain to watch the Bills get blown out because I wanted to see Josh's debut. She never complained once.
So I married her.

Milano at 37, Darryl Williams at 40. No Feliciano.
What's more interesting is that, in addition to re-signing Milano for 4/45 and Williams for 3/31.5, they also have the Bills signing Richard Sherman (No. 19) for 2/28, Chris Carson (No. 57) for 3/27, and Trey Hendrickson (No. 59) for 4/45.
Where is all this money coming from!?

That being said the Bills area also ranked 7th in their ELO ratings at 1607 and they project an 11-5 record for us...meaning apparently they feel we will keep being lucky...
Projecting 11-5 means 4-3 the rest of the way, which is in line with what our point differential says our record should be. So they are projecting regression.

Two losses against the Patriots but a win over the Broncos ... who just beat the Patriots?

Quiet is good for a DB. Hill had 20 yards receiving.
