The Officials -
A whole month to prepare, and that's the best you can do? Incompetence! The entire team should hang their heads low, it was disgraceful.

Congratulations to Texas Christian. Michigan should be ashamed of themselves. Completely disgraceful performance. An embarrassment.

Super Bowl - Are you likely to go?
Mark Vader replied to Captain Caveman's topic in The Stadium Wall
There is no way I can afford to attend the Super Bowl. I would consider going there to be a part of it. There's a great Bills Backers group in Phoenix, and I would watch the game with them. -
Would you consider the Boogie Basham pick to be a disappointment?
Mark Vader replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
To answer your main question, I would say that I am underwhelmed by Basham, but I wouldn't just give up on him, which I'm sure many people on this board want to do. I'm of the belief that players need to develop instead of expecting instant gratification, like many fans here do. Let's remember that this is Basham's second year in the league, so he may not be fully there yet. Yes, it does look bad when a player like Kingsley Jonathan comes on the scene from out of nowhere and makes an immediate impression to fans, and that is a very bad look for Basham. I think that we just have to be patient with certain players. Which is probably unrealistic, because there is almost no patience on this board. Also, look at Epenesa. He's not dominant, but he's making more impactful plays in his third year. Who's to say Basham can't do the same thing? -
I think this is a solid draft, overall. Like the O-Lineman picks, and Antonio Johnson would be a good addition. I don't see the Bills drafting 2 more Linebackers, nor do I see them going defense with our first two picks.
-
I like both of these guys. They were the reason to watch Maryland football. Not first round talented, but definitely day 2 picks. Keep an eye on these two.

Josh McDaniels doesn’t rule out benching Derek Carr
Mark Vader replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall
Amazing that this guy got a second head coaching job. Of course the Raiders front office hasn't done anything smart in a long time. -
What I mean is how Josh Allen has played. I'm not saying he's having a terrible year. Most of it has been his decision making. Some of his interceptions have looked really bad, and that wasn't the case last year. I think that some of it has to do with play calling. Our short yardage pass options appear to only be running backs instead of wide receivers. I am not complaining about Josh Allen at all. I think he is having a very good year, and he is largely responsible for the Bills record.
-
It's true that Josh Allen is not having the same year as he did as last year, and if that merits criticism, fine. There are people out there who do give the Bills praise as a team too. The thing is that when Allen makes a mistake it is highlighted and is pointed out every which way possible. Front page story. Mahomes makes a mistake, and it's posted along with the liquor ads. They don't have to gush over Allen and the Bills, just keep it even. They are not the only team and player that has made mistakes this year.
-
I'll put it this way. If Josh Allen played for the Patriots*, the sports media would be bowing down before him.
-
I agree that they don't doubt his abilities. I get the feeling that they don't envision him being a championship QB.
-
We need help at Safety too. What is the best way to approach this? Should we look at free agency for WR or S, and then look to the draft for O-Linemen? I get the impression that the Bills will do all they can to retain Tremaine Edmunds. Jordan Poyer might be kept, but I doubt he gets a long term contract. We will need to get someone to eventually replace Mitch Morse.

Paging, Tom Brady...

Come on, don't we all want to see Carolina take down Tampa Bay? -
