  1. I like Youboty's potential. That being said, I also like the potential of a LB'ing corps of Ellison, Crowell, and a fully-recovered Spikes, John McCargo coming back from injury, and Kyle Williams after bulking-up. That doesn't mean I'm comfortable with it happening.

  2. Thanks ...just made a reservation @ the All-Star Sports Resort...99.00 per night! Heck of a lot less than I thought i'd pay! Again Thanks! :D:pirate::thumbsup::pirate::pirate::devil::nana:

    You're welcome.

BTW, do you have AAA? Sometimes they have discounted rooms available.

And make sure you take advantage of "extra magic hours." That means that on each day, one of the parks is open 1 hour early and another is open up to 3 hours later than regular park hours (i.e. for people NOT staying on Disney property).

  3. Well it's official.......here is the bet we've made, since Curtis signed with the Eagles we've made the following bet. Barring injury whoever outperforms the other in terms of receiving yards will have to wear the jersey of the bet winners choice to a major establishment.

He also points out that Curtis now makes more money than Evans so what does that say? I fell over laughing and said, Jim Kelly at age 47 could make 10 million dollars a year in this inflated market!!!

Can't wait to see him sport a Losman jersey. I think it will look good on him and hopefully it fits over his straight jacket.

You need to up the ante. Someone this seriously stupid needs for it to hurt when he loses.

  4. Marv MAY have had final say on drafting Moulds, but he quickly grew disenchanted with him. I recall him saying something to the effect back in 1997 that Moulds was never going to get it. Of course he was wrong, but that impression and the way things played out last year probably have closed the book on Moulds in Buffalo for good.

  5. I'd wait until pick #12 comes around for the Bills. If Peterson is there, I consider long and hard about taking him. If I take him, great. If I pass, I call up the Chargers and offer our 2nd rounder for Turner. Tell them they can use it on a RB who will be with them for at least 4 years, whereas Turner will be gone after the season, and for nothing.

  6. This is far too complicated an issue to discuss intelligently here.

Let me just say, since the Google acquisition, YouTube has eliminated a LOT of copyright protected content. Due to this, Youtube is now nearly useless to me.

This is far from "too complicated." YouTube still, and especially prior to Google's acquisition (and yes they've removed a lot of copyrighted content, but it's "too little, too late") is and was showing copyrighted material without permission. End of issue.

  7. I think thats the problem with Chris Brown. He is young, he wants to cash in while he is still young and I think his price is much higher than his worth.

Brown is in no position to demand more than he's worth, given that only 2 teams are interested in him. I'm sure the Bills and Lions want to sign him for cheap incentive-laden deals, but he wants more money or a 1-year deal.

And if Peterson was guaranteed to fall to the Bills, I'd pass on Brown. But there are no guarantees. But imagine a backfield with Peterson, A-Train, and Brown.

  8. One More RB

    One More Corner

    One More LB

    One More DT

    8 Draft Picks - 4 in the top 100

Room still left under the cash to the cap scheme.

    An emerging talent at QB

Budding superstars at WR and LT

A rebuilt OL that is respectable for the first time in 7 or 8 years (maybe a decade)

    Life is good...

If only McCargo and Youboty weren't such unknowns, I'd be more inclined to agree that life if good, instead of promising.

  9. no, theyll be judging him partly on his 2006 season. but the other part that will be FRESH in everyone's mind will be the "this guy got franchised and threw a hissy fit and sat out an entire season to screw his team" 2007 season.

I was going under the scenario that Briggs sits-out the first 8 games, comes back for the last 8, but is benched/inactivated by the team. No way does he sit-out the whole year voluntarily and miss making anything, much less the $4M he could make if he returned mid-season.

  10. if he wanted to do that, he'd be inactive for the last 8 games if i were running the team. have him try to get a big contract after sitting out for a year.

    he'd cost himself millions.

If the team forced him to sit-out, he wouldn't cost himself anything. Everyone will be judging him on the 2006 season.
