  1. Ralph is like a fan's dream next to Al Davis. Or William Clay Ford for that matter.
  2. It will be different, no doubt, when Ralph shuffles off this mortal coil. It could be better (although I am not inclined to think so), it could be worse for us fans. But it will be different. I suspect that a new owner could bring a new approach (an actual GM, etc). It would be nice to know what the succession plan is, but that's not Ralph's way.
  3. The Raiders that won 4 games the next season? Known for their great decision making of late.
  4. He can't force him to be there...what else can he really say.
  5. I am pretty sure you guys are right about TO not drinking. I think there was some family history, so he doesn't drink at all. I think they covered this on 60 Minutes.
  6. Skip Bayless is a sh-- stirrer. Anyone who thinks he's a "journalist" needs professional help. I don't see that holding Tim Graham to a higher standard is unfair.
  7. He's definately got to improve on his route running, his understanding of changes to the play happening at the line of scrimmage, etc. But that's pretty typical for a WR coming out of college. I have faith he will improve on that.
  8. This board is like constantly being forced to eat a sh-- sandwich.
  9. I don't see why not. In this case it's a pretty simple transaction. Every team has their value chart, and you negotiate from there.
  10. And they were 21st of 32 in points scored in 2008......just behind the Bills.
  11. I ripped into him because he started using The Dirty as a rock solid source, when even the most mongoloid of mongoloids could see there was no sourcing there. And guess what: I KNOW I WAS RIGHT FOR DOING SO. If this is what passes for journalism in Tim's book then maybe some of the things I heard about his Vegas work experience are true.
  12. I've always liked Ellison's play. He's never going to get outworked, and he knows how to move to the ball
  13. Again, how about some digging? We're taking one gossip webpage as gospel here?
  14. I have to call you out here. This event may, or may not have happened, but even the quickest review of this "evidence" shows some pretty crappy standards for reporting by the Dirty and whatever paper that was. To then present it here as the mainstream media letting him off the hook is ridiculous. NOTHING in either the original internet post, or the later article resembles a sourced fact. Now, if someone digs up field logs or some sort of police evidence I may stand corrected but as it stands this is just rumor and inuendo.
  15. Unsuprisingly, considering the pool of pond scum he bubbled up from, Rome never actually understood Chris Evert was a pretty tough tennis player.
  16. They make a standard low salary for the preseason, not their pro-rated salary.
  17. He did, it didn't require surgery, and he says he's fine.
