  1. not sure what you mean here....Buffalo's #11 is worth 1250 points...Dallas's #22 and #28 are worth 1440 points together...if Dallas threw in their 3rd rounder which is pick #92 worth 132 points they would be giving Buffalo 1546 points of value for 1250 points of value..Dallas's 2nd which is worth 292 points would be worse ..this would then mean Buffalo would owe them 106 points of value which the closest Buffalo has to that is their 3rd round pick 230 points of value or their 4th round pick worth 66 points...neither works..only way it comes close is to do what I wrote above Or..to make it even easier...they do a even swap of 1st rounders and call it done..Buffalo's #11 for Dallas's #22 and #28..Buffalo's 1250 value for Dallas's 1440 points and Dallas eats 190 value points to pick their man at #11..but 190 is a lot of points so maybe Dallas asks for another pick somewhere to lessen the value they eat.
  2. lol..thx..I wasnt sure if Thomas would last till pick #22 so I took Kelly..but to be honest I'll take any of the top 5 big WR's as long as it helps Buffalo
  3. Ahh ok so the only picks Buffalo cant trade or give away is #132(round 4) and #251(round 7)...so that means Buffalo could use pick #72 in round 3 to make it more enticing for Dallas, thus now Buffalo would be giving away more point value but, in turn getting the trade-down they want..or they can ask for pick #126(round 4) in round 4 to make the point value closer...[ #11(1250),#72(230) #114(66), = 1546 ; #22(780), #28(660), #126(46)= 1486 ; 1546 - 1486 =60]... so in total Buffalo and Dallas switch their 1st round picks and switch their 4th round picks and Buffalo gets Dallas's second 1st rounder and Dallas gets Buffalos 3rd round pick to make the value acceptable. 1#22 - Malcolm Kelly, WR 1#28 - Phillip Merling, DE 2#41 - Fred Davis, TE 4#126 - Antwaun Molden, CB 4#132 - Owen Schmitt, FB 5#147 - Kory Lichtensteiger, C/OG 6#179 - Chad Rinehart, OG/OT 7#219 - Marcus Monk, WR 7#224 - ?? 7#251 - ??
  4. lets say Dallas was to trade picks #22 and #28 for Bills #11 and #114...ok first of all they cant right?..rules say you cant trade away a pick you got from another team via trade or whatever right?..if yes that would mean Dallas can not give up #22 and that also means Bills couldn't give away picks #72,132,147,224,251..correct?..also..Im seeing its very hard to get exact value for picks..meaning if this trade did happen Dallas would be giving Bills 124 points over pick #11 and #114's value...[ #11(1250), #114(66) = 1316 ; #22(780), #28(660) = 1440 ; 1440 - 1316 = 124]...whats a reasonable difference in points? If this would work, and Dallas "wanted" to trade, this could be phenomenal for Buffalo: 1#22 - Malcolm Kelly, WR 1#28 - Phillip Merling, DE 2#41 - Trevor Laws, DT 3#72 - John Carlson, TE 4#132 - Antwaun Molden, CB 5#147 - Kory Lichtensteiger, C/OG 6#179 - Chad Rinehart, OG/OT 7#219 - Marcus Monk, WR 7#224 - ?? 7#251 - ??
  5. thx for the info...I have been to a few home games allready...i was at the bills/jets game where Bruce knocked out Boomer...i was 4 rows behind the jets at 45yardline...got to laugh at Boomer as he sat there infront of me looking woopy...I was at the bills/raiders playoff game when it was like -40 out and nomatter how much i put on I was frozen...I was at the home opener when bills beat pats* 30-0....plus ive been at maybe 3 or 4 other games..but all of them with a freind/s...I dont like doing much alone tho..lol..well maybe 1 thing but thats not for telling
  6. hmmm..i can understand the players agents wanting as much as possable cuz they get a %...but comeing from a union workshop myself I usually find the guys that have been arround the longest usually dont allow new guys to get paid unless they get paid more...I dont see why a ten year vet would like the idea that this years rookie will make more in his signing bonus than the vet made his hole career...Im sure someone will give me a reason tho...
  7. Ive always wanted to get them myself...not sure what they cost tho..besides i dont have any friends that are billsfans...id have to go alone...my brother and dad are bills fans but theyd never go with me because they dont have the time..this is something I think should be shared with family or friends and id just be going alone...now im feeling sad Is there a singles section?..maybe us single guys can pick up some single gals that are fans!..lol
  8. becareful what you say ppl..Tipster and I had a discussion on this not long ago thinking although it would never happen it was still an intersting strategy...all we got from most of this board is unconstructive critisizm and ppl calling us nuts for thinking about it and most said it would never happen...and then this comes out with exactly what we talked about..hmmmmm p.s. - im talking about what the article says about miami waiting to pick on purpose
  9. I dont understand why they dont just put a cap on how much you can pay a rookie...didnt basketball do this?...make it so all rookies get a certain amout depending on what round they go in and after 1 year they then can negotiate a multi year contract..this would take strain off the draft and get rid of this "value at this pick" crap
  10. why you calling me out on this one for?....atleast 10 other posters have 1st to 3rd round guys all listed or as most of there list...beside he didnt ask what late rounders do you feel will be good he only asked what players would be good and most usually the top 5 rounders have the best careers...dont look at me like im the only idiot on the board that likes these guys
  11. my only concern with Thomas is that hes 6' 2" and only has a 28" vertical leap while Sweed and Hardy both had 35" or more vertical leap..plus both are taller....I havent seen Thomas play so for those of you that have, how is he at going up over tall DB's that can jump?
  12. 1. DT Trevor Laws, Notre Dame 2. DE/OLB Vernon Gholston, Ohio State 3. DE Chris Long, Virginia 4. TE Dustin Keller, Purdue 5. OG Branden Albert, Virginia
  13. heres mine..not sure what to do with pick 7c 1- DE - Derrick Harvey 2- WR - James Hardy 3- TE - John Carlson 4a- CB - Antwaun Molden 4b- FB - Peyton Hillis 5- DT - Keilen Dykes 6- C/OG - Kory Lichtensteiger 7a- OG/OT - Chad Rinehart 7b- WR - Marcus Monk 7c ??
  14. so you dont have any confidence in will james then since ur takeing 2 cb's
  15. extra 2nd and you dont grab a TE?..actually you dont pick a TE at all FB to low in the draft
  16. Security guard - 17....hahaha..i knew there was something wrong with one of my friends Warehouse - 15....I told everyone I worked with " I thought I was stupid until I started working with them, now that Im here, I feel like a genius"...lol
  17. 44...just missed getting #9 done..had to re-read 1 of the questions that cost me time so if we all got 30 or higher and most of us are saying 39-50..whats that say about the collective minds in the NFL...maybe the armchair quarterback is smarter than the coach..
  18. I see what your saying Tipster but I really dont like the Brandon Albert pick....Bills OG's are set and Im feeling you want him only because hes from Rochester,NY....and the first section of the OL I would address is C
  19. 1- DE - Derrick Harvey 2- WR - Andre Caldwell (wouldnt mind a better WR but most mocks have all the WR's gone) 3- TE - John Carlson
  20. what ever happens when Bills try to re-sign Evans will happen and I'm hoping they get it done..so I'm apposed to the trade or Evans part....but, I wouldn't mind Bills giving away next years 1st and whatever to get back into this years 1st ...this could mean Bills could take DE Derrick Harvey with #11 and still grab someone like Kelly or Hardy in later round 1...I just think the Bills are a few guys away from going to playoffs and if they can get them all this year it less to worry about next year..so that would be a 1st round DE and WR a 2nd round CB or TE and what used to be considered a 1st day pick...a 3rd round CB or TE...leaving 4th pick - 7th to be OL and FB....sounds good to me..esspecialy if we get a 4th round comp
  21. ppl seem to forget here that we're looking for a #2 wr not a #1...so we can get a good #2 in the 2nd round and a TE in the 3rd...I agree if we go after a WR in 1st it might intimidate Evans and make it harder to work out a deal with him..if thats going to happen than we better get a potential #1 WR at #11 and grab a #2 WR in the 2nd or 3rd...I honestly think Bills go best player available with #11 and go for WR in 2nd and TE with 3rd
  22. 1- DE - Derrick Harvey 2- WR - Jordy Nelson 3- TE - John Carlson 4- CB - Antwaun Molden 5- DT - Keilen Dykes 6- C/OG - Kory Lichtensteiger 7a- OG/OT - Chad Rinehart 7b- WR - Marcus Monk
  23. to bad he just says ludicrus instead of really going into the bads of what might happen if it did happen..to some ppl 1 word answers arent enough..I know myself I like to question everything and I like better answers than 1 word answers..of course some things in life only need 1 word to answer or maybe 2 words added together to make one word..lol dont worry Tipster..I find a lot of your posts interesting...I knew miami would never do this but I still found the concept interesting
