  1. your missing bengals pick in the first round wich sent every pick to the wrong # after 9...ATL somehow has 3 1st round picks and you shamefully gave the pats* pick #31 back ..are you secretly a pats fan..lol
  2. 1#11- DE - Derrick Harvey - Florida - 6' 4-5/8" 271 4.83 (starter) 2#41- WR - Malcolm Kelly - Oklahoma - 6' 3-3/4" 224 4.68 (starter) 3#72- TE - Martellus Bennett - Texas A&M - 6' 6" 259 4.68 (starter)
  3. thats actually a pretty good list...nfldraftscout.com has the same list except replace Merling with Gholsten...they have Merling at 23...the next 5 on there list only has one we might take and thats DRC...so this seems to say that in the top 20 theres possably 2 CB's, 1 WR and a DE for Bills to choose..hmm guess id be happy with any of thos 4 at #11
  4. Hi and welcome aboard...hope you have thick skin you'll need it around here
  5. hmm ok you must have edited while i did that last post..thats ok ill redo ...looks like you added merling to our list
  6. i didnt forget Raiders..Mayock has them takeing Vernon Gholsten ..I use Mayocks draft to place the above players in draft... if this is indeed the top 15 it looks like 3 players could be on Bills board...Thomas, Jenkins and Harvey...who is it?
  7. yea thats true but theres got to be a group of players that everyone feels fit in the top 15 - 20...i mean everyone seems to feel that Dorsey, J. Long, C. Long, Mcfadden, Gholsten are the top 5..go anywhere and they are the top 5 on there list...maybe im getting confused with top 5 players and top five to be picked in the draft... I dont know... so lets do that then ..give me the top 20 to be picked in the draft. maybe I should be looking at top 10 defensive players and top 10 offensive players..and if one of those is there Bills takes the one they have on there board
  8. was wondering who the top 15 players are this year in the draft..the way i see it is if the Bills go BPA its going to be one of those 15..eliminate the 10 that will go to picks 1-10 and who do you think out of the last 4 will be a Bill...hmm might work better if someone did a top 20..maybe
  9. let me ask you guys a question..is a FB really needed?....Parrish made most of the Bills best plays last year. he needs to be on the field more often..obviously hes WR #3 if Buffalo is looking for WR #2 in the draft...can the Bills actually get 3 WR's and a TE with a FB on the field?...if Buffalo takes a FB I hope its a more diverse FB...Schmitt is an excellent blocker but not much of a pass catcher according to most draft experts...Hillis might be more of what Buffalo should look for I think...I know I have Schmitt in my sig, and id have to say most likely hes there only because hes the board favorite...If Im wrong(has happened) and he can catch than go Schmitt.
  10. what do you think Kirwan as saying here?..is he sending Buffalo a message of some kind?...I cant tell if hes putting this player down or putting Jauron down....what you think?...is he saying Jauron should take this guy?
  11. ahh ok so when they say Carlson is a move TE then theyre saying its best for him to allready in motion b4 the ball is snapped so he's allready started his route and dosent need to jam or get jammed by the DE...hmm seems most of the TE's comeing out this year are move TE's...according to Kirwin none of these TE's can be #1's except Davis and maybe Keller... this leads me to ask .... do we need a #1 TE?...can Royal be the in-line TE while Rucker or Carlson is the move TE?..dose anybody see us going 2 TE sets often?...dose it look like we need to go Davis in the second or bust?...
  12. I'm sorry Pyrite but your paragraph long run-on sentences and obsessive use of parenthesis in every paragraph, not alone have parenthesis inside of parenthesis, just dumbfounds me....I can never concentrate on any of your posts...sry I tried and failed
  13. when Hargrove got suspended for the 2008 season we lost a DE there...most likely he wont be comeing back....all we really have is Schobel, Kelsay and Denney..Schobel needs more help on the line to allow him to be a better pass rusher and Kelsay keeps over pursuing and missing the QB...Denney was hurt last season but still isn't a dominate pass rusher...Schobel and Harvey on the Field together with Stroud and McCargo plus our LB's would give an O-Line a lot to worry about..thus making the DB's jobs easier
  14. ok I dont know much about the techy stuff...whats a move TE and an in-line TE?
  15. again I say look at my sig..why is noone listening to me..
  16. yea HBO did a show for like 2 years going into the locker room and showing fans the practices and inside stuff...then suddenly it stopped for a couple years then came back with KC..havent seen anything on it this year at all yet..but of course training camp hasn't started yet...not sure why they skipped a year or two tho...I remember the season with Ravens but cant remember the next seasons team..might have been Cowboys
  17. Id rather take Zack Bowman in the later rounds....both should be taken arround the same time round 6 or 7 but I like Zack better.. Lowery - Late rounder Strengths: Very good size and bulk with long arms...Smooth athlete..Excellent hands and ball skills...Good leaper...Great instincts and awareness...Dangerous when he has the ball...Has a great football IQ...Real productive..Hard worker with good intangibles. Weaknesses: Doesn't have very good speed and lacks a burst to recover...Is not fluid when he has to flip his hips...Does not have quick feet...Isn't real strong or physical...Not a great tackler...Has trouble in man coverage...Average versus the run..Needs some technique work...Not an ideal fit for every team...Only two years of DI experience. Notes: JUCO transfer from Cabrillo College...Was named to multiple All-American lists as a junior...Had a huge first season for the Spartans in '06 which led to him becoming a little overrated as a pro prospect...A nice player who can make it under the right circumstances..Prototypical zone cornerback who is a playmaker in the secondary. Zack Bowman - Late rounder Strengths: Has good size and a solid frame with long arms...Decent timed speed...Very good athlete...Physical and aggressive at the line...Excellent ball skills and pretty good hands...Does a nice job against the run...Good special teamer...Has some upside. Weaknesses: Health and durability are major concerns...Does not have much experience...Very raw and needs to refine his technique and footwork...A marginal tackler...Average awareness and instincts...Will he ever play like he did pre-injury?...Big bust factor. Notes: A native of Anchorage, Alaska...Only played in 22 Division I games in college with just 9 starts...Was one of the top JUCO prospects in the nation prior to arriving in Lincoln...Redshirted in 2006 after tearing his left ACL during fall practice...Seriously considered entering the 2007 NFL Draft, even though he had not played in over a year, before ultimately heading back to school for his senior season..Tore his right patellar tendon during spring practice in 2007...Has all the physical tools you look for, at least he did before all the injuries hit..If he can get back to where he was a couple of years ago some team could get a 1st round talent late in the draft...Low Risk / High Reward, Boom or Bust type who just might be worth taking a flyer on.
  18. I still think Bills go best player available with pick #11 and that would be Harvey if hes there....after Schobel, Kelsay and Denny thers not much good depth..Hargrove F'd himself and the Bills so hes gone...Id rather see Schobel and Harvey on the field with Denney and Kelsay in rotation with them...I still want to see what Youbouty can do and I think this year is his year...now I can aso see Keith Rivers there at #11 if Harveys gone...I never said I didnt like Kelsay I just would prefer Harvey over him if we grabbed him...with Rivers comeing in behind Kelsay it would be hard who to choose to double-team...tell the truth..if I was a OL'man standing there looking at a defense with Schobel-McCargo-Stroud-Harvey standing infront of me and then add Mitchell-Poz-Crowell comeing in behind them...Im not sure who Id have to watch out for...then add in a safety blitz once in awhile...
  19. I like this post...this is something noone has brought up yet...everyone keeps saying Bills should move down and take a WR but your right...what if someone sees what Bills are doing and slip infront to keep Bills from takeing the guy they want...probably wont happen but it is a possability.
  20. why is it that some ppl think that just because Bills ranked really bad in pass defense its all about the secondary? when you have DE's like Kelsay running past QB's and Schobel getting manhandled..and DT's not penatrating like they should be...it makes the job of the secondary harder.
  21. wow..seems ppl keep discussing and leaning to my mock draft.. just so you know tho its been there awhile..lol
