Talk about extreme makeovers. Take a look at what's happening to Daffy and Bugs. http://img183.exs.cx/img183/2194/toons0qs.jpg Hoping to breathe new life into its animated Looney Tunes franchise and prop up the WB television network's slumping Kids' WB line-up, Time Warner Inc.'s Warner Bros. is planning to launch a new cartoon series this fall based on "re-imagined" versions of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Tasmanian Devil, Lola Bunny, Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote. Warner Bros. has created angular, slightly menacing-looking versions of the classic Looney Tunes characters for its new series, dubbed "Loonatics" and set in the year 2772. Names for the new characters haven't been finalized, but they are likely to be derived from the originals: Buzz Bunny, for example. I reckon they look crazy

BALTIMORE, Maryland (AP) -- Three women pleaded guilty Thursday for their roles in the savage beating of a 12-year-old girl at a birthday party -- an attack prompted by a kiss on the cheek she received from a boy. The three included the mother of the birthday girl. Police said Monique Baldwin, 37, apparently became offended because the boy was supposed to be her daughter's boyfriend. She allegedly urged the attackers to "handle your business." Nicole Townes went into a three-week coma after she was beaten and kicked at the February 2004 sleep-over. Her 11-year-old sister was also beaten. Baldwin pleaded guilty to assault and child abuse and could get 30 years in prison at sentencing May 2. Erin Baldwin, 20, pleaded guilty to assault and was sentenced to four years in prison. Kenya Keene, 25, pleaded guilty to reckless endangerment and assault and could receive six years behind bars May 2. A plea agreement for a 16-year-old girl fell through. Two other teenage girls pleaded guilty last year. -Cnn.com- 30 years in prison...

If you thought the Milloy situation was bad, feast your eyes on this http://www.thebrushback.com/billbelechick_full.htm
-
Sorry, I guess I wasn't paying attention. Some guy on a radio station on the other side of the country who used to announce games said it. If that's not compelling evidence I just don't know what is.
-
I did a poll of all Bills fans and documented all of my findings. But my dog ate it. The fact of the matter is that you spouted off this BS about Seymour's malcontent and have provided nothing..... why am I arguing with you?
-
AKC, I haven't followed the situation. I remeber how awful that Milloy incident was. Did the team ever recover??? I don't know, but I'm sure Milloy just loves his new team. They almost made the playoffs this year!
-
Ever been to the Buffalo Bills official board about 5 games into any given season Kurt? Carry on.

Parcells "charm" ??? This guy obviously hasn't got a clue...

different rules, look at san fran from over spending. they are taking a beating, pats realize when the end is near and cut the falling players. as a fan you hate losing lawyer milloy but as a realistic on looker and seeing the way rodney hrrison took over it makes it easier. the pats are the modern day dynasty, not your typical one year wonder. the old teams could spend to win today if you over pay you mortgage the future, you risk years of 7 and 9 records - good enough to be in the hunt but never gatting a date to the dance. colts are a good team but need to even the spending to both sides of the ball. the pats are the future of sports, a cap ruled world, that requires both the knowledge of not only what players to take, but also the knowledge of how to spread the money in a value for dollar approach.

Also, are you sure you want to bring up that situation in a conversation about player relations? In signing McGahee, Donahoe has effectively alienated his other star RB who is now demanding a trade. Yeah, Donahoe handled that player relationship brilliantly.
-
Oh ya.... that Donahoe is a real frickin' genius. That's why half the fans and media are calling for his head. His slick work in getting Bledsoe and Milloy over there have really paid dividends. McGahee seems to be panning out, but hey even a blind squirrel finds a nut. I think it's clear that you are being exposed in this thread alone as a complete fool and flat out liar.
-
Ah yes, the amazing Willis McGahee....
-
I know it's hard for you to figure this out, but my comment did address the handling. Please try again once you have a clue. PS: You really need to lay off the crack. Remember, a mind is a terrible thing to waste.

Hmmmm. Kurt, is that you? Hello?

you are using only 2 examples in your argument. It just so happens that the examples both have the same a$$hat for an agent, Carl Poston. So do you think it's a problem with the players or with the players agent? The Poston brothers are known for convincing their clients that they are worth more than they really are and seem to recomment that their client renegotiate their contracts or holdout. Now, you tell me who's not realistic and can't "HANDLE" the situation. What about the other players that left for bigger bucks, were they misshandled too? I think Woody, Hamilton, and Washington left on good terms. The left because we didn't want to meet the expensive offer they had from other teams. Good for them, they are going for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow "WHEN THEIR CONTRACTS WERE UP".
-
Seymour still has two years left on his current contract. But don't let facts get in the way of a great rumor.
-
I predict you will be crawling back under your rock by 6 pm Sunday night.
-
And one minor detail. While the Pats thought they were close to an agreement, the Postons were talking to Donahoe. When they realized Buffalo would top the Pats offer, they cut off negotiations. While this was a clear violation of tampering rules, the smoking gun couldn't be found and the league dismissed the Pats complaint.

Furthermore, You speak of looking at "outsiders" perspective, but there is a second side to that, which is the local/insiders perspective. You hear only the National Presses review on the "Handling" of the Milloy issue. The main reason for the 11th hour release of this was that they were in the proverbial trenches trying to work something out till the last minute. As it came down to the wire, there was no agreement between the parties, and the decision was made (one of the toughest ever as BB put it) to release him. Nothing was botched, or anything else. They went to the wire to try and make it work, and couldn't. Hence you see a last minute decision. As for Ty Law. I blame 99.9999999% of the crap that went down on his agent as he's represented by the Poston brothers who are notorious for less-than-desirable tactics to say the least. I would lay good money down that the Postons, even though it is illegal, had a super high dollar contract lined up for him with another team and Law was trying to find a way out of his current one. Yeah, I guess you're right. If Belichick had handled it better, maybe the Pats would have been undefeated last year instead of only being 14-2. After listening to your persuasive argument, I bet if Belichick had just said "pretty please" to Milloy and his agent, maybe he would have gone to the NFC instead of just taking the highest offer that happened to be from the Bills.
-
What is this all about? I haven't seen or heard any rumors about Seymour's knee. Perhaps you can provide a link or source. The truth is, you made up the "rumors" part. I heard what you're talking about on Mike and Mike on ESPN radio. They were talking about Abraham and how he might sit out this critical game to protect himself from further injury by coming back too early. Abraham will be a free agent at the end of the season. They then mentioned Seymour's injury and wondered if he would do the same thing with the Pats. There are no rumors. There was Golic and Greenberg talking about it on the air.
-
Yeah, usually the guy who wins, in sports and business, isn't Mr Popularity. As far as prices go, we're happy to pay. Kraft put his money where his mouth is. Can't say the same for the Colts owners. They want the fans (taxpayers) to foot most of the bill, and reap the rewards themselves.

So far your posting has been barely above the level of spam.
