  1. GG you were right on with your post of last night. The thought of being sued because the people who were running the party, which may or may not be Montana's Cook House, let things get out of control.

I had no problem with gr promotions or marketing dept, I had a problem with one or two salesmen at gr. Games were played. I refuse to garb my ankles.

  2. After working with GR for a long time, something happened that I did not what any part of. What for years, I believed, was a thank you tailgate/tent party for advertisers, turned into a group bus party which during the Miami game had people punking, horseplaying in mud and other drunken behavior stuff which I just have no desire to have on my property.

That is all I will type, but see me in person and I will have more to say.

  3. New England game has my vote also. I was lucky to get a ticket in the Jim Kelly club section that game which made life alot easier that day.

Sundays wind was nothing compared to the wind saturday night. Around 10:30pm

after a huge gust of wind blow by, I hear a noise out side and look across the street and see a 20x40 foot tent (wgr party tent) lifting off the ground. All I could think was a car going by and getting hit by a flying tent or the tent taking down the power lines. I take my big truck over to the tent and with some chains use it as a anchor.

I looked down the road to the 97 rock party area in the stadium lot and see about 10 tents down and ready to fly across the street. With the help of one of Orchard Park finest (off duty) we worked till 2:30 am secureing the tents till the owner of the tents showed up.

  4. At that point, Howard handed the microphone to Erkie Kailbourne. Kailbourne talked about various stadium/marketing issues the team and Business Backs the Bills are trying to deal with. Someone asked him how close the lease deal came to falling through back in '98; he said, "To be candid, it came right down to midnight on November 30th". Yeah, that close. Considering Buffalo's small-market size and economic situation, he's proud of the job BBtB has done. (Justifiably so, IMO.)

BBTB and Mr Erkie Kailbourne have done a great job selling the suites and club seats.

While there was talk right down to the deadline, I do not think the Bills were going to move.

Why would the Bills and goverment officials have a private meeting, which I set up,

with me and a couple of neighbors concerning some of the on going problems at the Ralph, RATS, public exposer due to lack of rest rooms, and litter. This meeting took place about a month before the deadline.

The Bills NEVER did anything in the past to correct these problems yet some of the problems were correct the next day. If there is one thing about the Bills back than, they never did more than they have to. $$$$$ So if they were going to move they would have never FIXED these ongoing problems.

  5. I was at the game.

Now, to preface these comments, I will say this......they have the NICEST scoreboards in the NFL. Bar none. I did some work for TV, and have seen many, but these things are awesome.

That said, the tailgaters suck. The lots around the stadium don't fill until about 11:15 or so. They are all permit anyway. And if you find one for the common folk, the going rate anywhere near was $30. The tailgating was pretty lame, and the mood is tranquil. Not to say some didn't have nice spreads, but overall it's a D+.

    $30.00 Hhhmmm!

  6. That's pretty much what he said. He was asked if he thought it was unfair for people to question his future with JP waiting in the wings and the team at 1-5. He said, "I am the quarterback here and I'm going to be the quarterback here and anybody that has questions about that, I apologize - if you're going to cheer for the Bills, I'm going to be the quarterback." (Just went back and checked the archived postgame on Fieldpass.)

He also spent a lot of time blaming the running game, offensive line, tipped balls, etc. I've never heard him point the finger away from himself so much. (He wasn't quite Flutiesque, but almost.) He did admit Deion's second pick was a bad decision on his part and that he threw "a little" behind Moulds on the missed TD opportunity. Basically, he was squirming the whole time (understandably).

Thank You Last Guy on the Bench for the back up. Time for another MOLSON
