  1. So apparently dr birx is now a mouth piece for trump according to the ***** show on Twitter.
  2. Right now I’m under the impression that Italy isn’t testing anyone that isn’t showing severe symptoms. That being said, though this virus is not as deadly as in Italy, it seems to highly contagious which is scary.
  3. There must be more to it that that as Cuomo himself was pushing for the drug to be given.
  4. People look at headlines, this isn't unique to the orange man. That being said, maybe he is getting his advice from our man in exile, DC Tom who predicted that this would be over by just after Easter?
  5. Does it really matter at this point? Justin Trudeau (who many of you here on the left would vote for) was extremely inactive up until a couple of weeks ago even though there were clear signs that this was going to hit Canada. Same thing for Italy and France. Everyone of these leaders took it lightly. Trump banning travel from China in January was a good move but it should have also been followed up by testing people coming into the country starting in February when this was obviously going to cause problems. All western leaders deserve a kick in the ass for this mess.
  6. Let's be honest, Trump touting that things will be open in Easter doesn't stray too far from his usual off the cuff proclamations. I don't understand how people simply haven't gotten used to not taking those comments seriously.
  7. Yes drinking a fish tank cleaner can kill.
  8. As if they're not suffering enough?
  9. The guy eats well done steaks as well as burgers and fries every day. If he can survive that and survive staying at the sun, chances are that he'll outlive all of us.
  10. What difference, at this point, does it make?
  11. Please don't take medical advice from someone who lost to an orange guy.
  12. It took a while for Italy's stats to start dropping and I'm not certain (you could confirm) that the measures were nearly as strict as in Italy. We just hit 1300 cases here and we've been shutdown for close to 10 days.
  13. I am Italian but I live in Montreal. We are allowed to leave our homes but social distancing will be enforced on the streets. The numbers are encouraging here as we expected a peak as this was a result of cases originating from the week after spring break when everyone returned from spring break but no social distancing was practiced. After two weeks of being relatively locked down, I wouldn't be surprised that the amount of new cases drops.
  14. How seriously are you taking social distancing? Here, we are completely locked down. Even if you wanted to do something, everything is closed.
  15. My parents were born in Teggiano, Salerno. There is so much land there that I wonder how the police would be able to enforce anything?
  16. Yes. I’m not using China as a reference. Taiwan and South Korea were excellent in handling this but they have extensive experience with viruses.
  17. That’s incorrect they shut down two provinces.
  18. Every single country that has taken this disease lightly has paid a heavy cost.
  19. The woman behind him (the doctor) looks like she wants to break down and cry. Yes but I meant, how do they transmit it. I understand if someone sneezes or coughs but if they have no symptoms?
  20. This outbreak hasn't peaked in the US. Also, China is much more authoritarian. They track people of interest just to be able to properly trace the spreading.
  21. Trump needs to stop talking...
  22. I'm not sure we're talkign about 500 victims a week if no action is taken though I'm not expecting the doomsday projections as well.
  23. For my personal knowledge, how does an asymptomatic person transmit the disease?
  24. Because what is being reported is overblown. You're posting this article to form an opinion rather than reading the actual interview.
  25. I actually read the interview, did you?
