1. Well according to our latest self-appointed genius and visionary seer, this Hamilton fella stole all his stuff from him. So if the two are indistinguishable..........

    494014

Again, so hateful unless someone kisses the Bills ass. Step away from the Kool-Aid. Gotta admire your courage though.......when the Titanic sinks fully, you'll be the last one to freeze in the cold water.

Seems to me like the "self-appointed" and "visionary seers" have a lot more eveidence to prove that this team is alot further away than "one or two" defensive players from being a contender. But oh well, when your only evidence that the non-positive Bills fans are "self appointed" genuises.....well, that says it all.

    TD = RJ

  2. Right on Realist! This is the type of statement I have been making for the last week, and have taken tons of heat for. The fans in this community need to take off their red, white and blue tinted glasses, and look at this team as it really is. They are a team going nowhere once again this year. Not only are they playing bad, but they look bad too. Those clown suits that they wear and insist on calling uniforms are embarrasing.

    492522

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, the "group" is gonna call you stupid! TD has the rest of the league right where he wants them.

  3. What a sad post. Self loathing finds another friend.

"I predicted something negative. Give me my deserving props."

    492473

Yeah, as opposed to sitting through the pre-season hearing the incredibly gay, DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMED posts. Or the inevitable...."It's only Pre-season moron" posts.

Or relax. Or however the hell else all the homers try to trivialize what someone thinks is a problem before the season starts.

Man, the "everything is OK" crowd gets testy this time of year when the Bills season is all but over.

Hey, jump on board, and let's can TD, then we can all move on.

  4. Early line is colts-3.

Put your house, car, kids college fund, and wife on the colts.

Edge will run on the Pats similar to what Willlis did. Manning will rip that secondary apart.

Rookie rt couldn't block Schobel, wait until Frenney gets a hold of him.

You think the Colts have had this game circled. They've been waiting all year, payback time.

And the best part is the linemakers already told you what is gonna happen with this line. Since when is New Eng. getting points at home. Colts win easy, two td's or more.

    492472

    E

I agree. This is the year the Colts will mop the floor with the Pats. I was actually hoping that the oddsmakers would be stupid and favor the Pats......but I agree......Colts will win this one going away.

  5. Expect a reply to that right after all of the "fans" who were posting that the Bills were going to lose by 40 points answer "what the fook happened."

    492415

I'll reply to that one. I thought the Bills would lose like 30-10. You know, kinda like how they gave up 14 points in 7 minutes. I just thought it would happen alot earlier.

Losing the way we did just makes it seem like the Pats felt they could turn it on any time they wanted against us and win. And they did. So, what's the difference?

  6. Hey, if the dolphins can split with the pats, why cant they win the division

    492405

Exactly my point. But, it's funny to me that all of these so called "positive" Bills fans have us cakewalking into Miami and winning on road with ease on our way to the AFC East title.

I understand that no one is impressed with the Patriots anymore. Completely. But I don't understand how anyone in this forum can expect the Bills to win anywere on the road period.

Just pointing out for all of the people that Miami has actually had a much better season, with less talent, than we have. And not only are we behind the Pats, but behind them and have to go to their place.

Most people will think Miami has no shot to come close to the playoffs, but isn't it funny that they are ahead of us with better wins than we actually have.

  7. I mean, after all, they have been more impressive than us have they not? They have a better overall win vs. Denver, right? They have also actually won a game on the road right? They also have us coming up at their place, which I'm sure they are counting as a win. We beat them at home, but if they hold serve at their house, we are worse than them.

So, if you think Miami is far fetched in winning the AFC East, then just think how ridiculous you actually sound if you think the Bills have a chance.

  8. I know im in the minority of people thinkin' positive on this board. We're 3-5, should have, could have, would have been better by the half.

1st half positives - Willis McGahee

Kelly Holcombe (bonehead play in new england, line's fault)

Eric Moulds (too bad he doesnt see the ball more often)

The play calling in the new england game...dead on,                            good                    enough to win

The team showe me they have what it takes to build on something, if only the run defense accepts some more responsiblity for the second half we CAN make a run, this should be the primary focus of the bye. That being said we lose to the chiefs, im finished for the year....I would also like some help from Indy next week against new england coming outta the bye at 3-5 and the division lead is 4-4 we still have a bonafide chance.

Our remaining games: Chiefs, at Chargers,

Carolina, at Miami, New England, Denver, at Cinci, at Jets

Daunting schedule....I say for any chance we need to run off the next 3, if we can build on last night thats possible its gotta start with our best all around game against KC, the chargers will be tough but its winnable if we keep it simple like last night

that would put us at 6-5 and leave us to make our own destiny with division games ahead....we lose any one of the next three were done...

    buit we can win' em

    492349

For any wagers you feel like placing, please PM me! I might even start you off with bonus cash just to keep you playing.

  9. Hey, I'm happy for you, really.  If you can derive joy from the Bills losing, all the more for you.  And now you are covered for the end of the season for three different possible outcomes, so that if we go 5-11, 6-10, or 7-9 you can be all excited and joyful again.  Good for you.  I can't imagine how miserable you might have been had the Bills won.

    492261

No actually, some of us are sick of losing. That's the key. So, if you take a good look at what this team really is, you'll realize that it pretty much has sucked under the Tom Donahoe era. A lot of us want the TD era to end, but when we say that, we get bashed.

At this point, with another lost season, I would take ANYONE other than TD to take the reigns of this franchise.

I'm a homer in a true sense that I have season tickets but live in VA. I buy the jerseys, and eat $44 hot dogs at the stadium. But I'll be damned if I'm gonna give some millionaire (TD), credit when he has sucked on the job.

I feel no sympathy for incompotent GM's who are rich off of the hard earned money that I provide him.

I want the Bills to win, which is precisely why I'm making noise about it.

  10. Thanks for your Mia/VT take.

Line opened at 4 and is now at 6.5 as noted, somebody is dropping some serious $$$$ on Tech.

The Canes seem to thrive in the underdog setup. They have only been dogs, and small ones at that about 4-5 over the last five years and they won all of those games outright. They seem to buy into the us against the world, backs to the wall theory. Miami will be at full attention for this game unlike some of the lesser games were they seem to go through the motions at times. I agree with Blacksburg being a tough venue to come into and that may be the difference. Either way I'm expecting a tight defensive battle with the key to/blocked kick turning the game. This may be one of those games where I will just sit back and enjoy.

    492276

Yeah, you know, Miami is a team that can actually neutralize Beamer's special teams. Simply because, while VA Tech, year after year, has the best special teams in the country, Miami can always bust one for a TD. Especially the Hester kid. As you probably know, most of the V-Tech special teams plays come on punt blocks or something like that.

Here's the thing. For some reason, Miami or Fla St. always scare you for some reason.......and in this case it's probably just the name, becuase I would not be surprised to see Tech roll Miami at home. However, can you convince yourself that Miami is not the Miami it normally is? I can't for that simple scare factor. If I'm up early in the day, I might consider putting something on Tech. I have done nothing but basically break even on college this year though, so I'm not sure I'm the one to listen to.

  11. TRICK or treat!!!!!!!!!!  I will be at the game tonight though!!!!!! I wish I had the power to cause teams to cover or not......Hope you don't have the steelers -11 that might be a reach much like last nights N.E. - 10........Come on now bills fans just having a little fun TRICK or treat!!!!!!

I will be fully dressed in my #7 throwback jersey and well worn Bills hat, hollween costume.

I will also be helping my buddy cheer on his team as a FOOTBALL fan.....Looking forward to the steelers knocking the crap out of brian bilicks team .....oh how I hate that guy with a passion!!!!!!!

After 42 years as a bills fan there's no turning back now TRICK or TREAT!!!!!!!Go JP and all the other young bills we really need someone to step up after that choke last night!!!!!!!

P.S. If you flamed me I forgive you, I 'm not taking names............TRICK or treat!!!!!!!!!!!!:-)

    492253

This hit home hard for me as I grew up in Pittsburgh. I hate the fuggin Steelers worse than anything. Thank god you aren't switching.

That being said, I have the Steelers -4 1/2 tonight, so I hope the maggots win by 2 touchdowns but lose Big Ben for the year.

    :(

  12. Don't listen to the haters CentralVaBills., you know your football.

On to the "entertainment" side of business, what do you think of the Miami Hurricanes at V. Tech Hokies game this coming Saturday?

    492192

    Hey E.....

Being here in VA.....but not a VA Tech fan, I can honestly say that this is the best V-Tech team I have seen, and that includes the Michael Vick era.

Early line has Tech favored by 6 1/2. Tech is really strong at home, and this weekend, there will be no better home field advantage in football than in Blacksburg. That may get them the win right there.

I think I'm inclined to bet against Miami's QB having a good game, rather than who is actually a better football team. If it comes down to that, I think Tech wins rather easily.

I'm not sure I can give a great thought on this one. My gut tells me V-Tech will beat the tar out of them (meaning, maybe 31-17 or something, but you always tend to hold back a little in predicting that because it's the University of Miami.

Also, I haven't checked long term yet, but the weather in VA this week is mid to upper 70's. I'm sure would like to see that down in the 40's or 50's. Not sure if a change is coming.

For my tastes, to close to bet at this point, although if I had to, I'd take Tech.

  13. Keep it goin!  I was on a season-long tear last year.  Everytime I looked at the lines, three games would jump out at me as automatic, and they would always come through.  This year, I am breakin even with the NFL, but making my scratch in the NCAA.

NFL has been frustrating, but I was playing a lot of games straight.  I realized there were many times when I was giving 6 and the team would win by 4.  That was about three weeks ago, since then I've been playing a lot of teasers.  Sounds like you've had the idea all along!

    492068

Well, a good tidbit came out on some channel the other day. To me, it pertains to teasers this year. NFL home teams this year are winning at a record setting pace. So, basically if you tease MOST teams to at least pick, you'll clean up.

  14. Were you implying that JP will contract the big H sometime in the future?

Great call.  Not the toughest prediction, but a solid one nonetheless!

    492056

Smokin, I'm on fire this year! I've damn near financed a new gameroom complete with Bills throwbacks through my "entertainment" picks this season.

Seriously man, I'm in the zone right now! I'm sure it will crash soon though.
