Michael Vick is theeeeeeeeeeeee biggest over-rated piece of stevestojan this side of Eric Lindros. Never before have I seen anyone try to hype up a guy so much in my friggin life.

    I love it!

  2. But the power is still on...at my house....Over the past 10 months we have been without power 23 days.  The town is a wreck, roads are closed, washed out, 95 shut down, people have died, and they still are looking for bodies.  It took two and a half hours to make the normal 20 minute ride home last night.  I drove by cars and dumpster floating down the road.  I have never seen so much rain in my life.

Oh my in-laws called last week to anounce that they are experiencing monsoon season in New Mexico, three inches of rain expected this season....LOL.....nearly 12 inches last night here alone.

Where ya from here? I'm down in Chesterfield by the Swift Creek Resovoir. I about stevestojan myself when they said a damn was failing in Chesterfield and they were evacuating. But that was for the Falling Creek Resovoir.

But yeah, the pictures from downtown are amazing, not to mention the problems they are having at the diamond for Braves games!

  3. The city of Richmond is a mess. State of emergency from all the rain. In some cases 14 inches in 9 hours.

I-95 was closed for a long time, and a major artery running near 95 is still closed. At one point, water over 25 feet deep was swirling around the the Shockoe Bottom area of the city.

6 people have died so far.

    What a mess!

Besides local links, it's even on the front page of the USA Today. I hope I linked this correct....although the information is a little behind now, our city is a mess.

    Gaston pissing on Richmond

  4. Wow...hope your family and house are safe...Gaston hit Raleigh earlier today, but we only got around 4 inches...dry out soon!!

THis is unreal, it's been pouring all day. There are tractor trailers floating down I-95.

We've even taken over top of hour coverage of Hurricane Frances on the Weather Channel with Jim Cantore. LOL, now I know this is big.

State of emergency declared. But the city is pretty much gridlocked because no one can get home.

    Unreal!

  5. only 8 hours. Some parts of Richmond that house all of the clubs and things are now said to be under 16 feet of flash flooded roads.

We are having MAJOR flooding starting in Richmond now. 12.5 inches of rain and counting so far in about 9 hours.

I-95, which is the busiest road on the East Coast, is closed through Richmond because of 5 FEET DEEP of water over the highway.

It takes me 35 minutes to get to work, and it took me 2 1/2 hours to get home. All creeks and streams are flash flooding.

120,000 without power. I've never seen anything like this.

We've had our wettest summer of the year here ever with 20 plus inches of rain in June, July and August....until today, where we added 12.5 and counting in EIGHT HOURS!

    Go Bills!
