Bills hand off to Losman
This article is also linked on the TBD main page. I submitted it this afternoon, after I got my copy of USA Today Sports Weekly, only to notice that Daninator submitted it yesterday.
It's a good read, though.

Can anyone post the cover as a photo?

In Columbus, it's hard to beat the burgers at Thurman's cafe. About the size of a dinner plate, piled high with condiments of your choice, cheese, bacon, etc.

...You Can't Blame Scott Norwood for the Bills Losing 4 Straight Super Bowls. It's at the end of the show's opening teaser so be forewarned.
I'll give my five reasons:
5. Mark Ingram. Makes that clutch 3rd-and-long catch that leads to a Jints score in SB XXV. A little better tackling would have helped in that situation.
4. Bruce Smith. If he knocks the ball out of Hostetler's clutches in the Jints' end zone and the Bills get a touchdown, it's 17-0 instead of 12-0. Bills didn't get a score after the safety and that hurt.
3. Frank Reich. The laces, Frank...the laces.
2. Coaching. Fat-Ass TUNA and Belichick had it all over Marv and Swizzlestick Corey in SB XXV. TOP overwhelmingly in the Jints' favor.
1. Three other opportunities to win the Big Game. Bills battled their way back to the SB but could not get it done in the end. Arrggh, the frustration!
What are your five reasons?
OBTW, was a very good "You Can't Blame" Art Modell for moving the Browns to Baltimore show last night. Man, you think we've experienced pain as Buffalo fans? Clevelanders have had more than their fair share of heartbreak over the last 40 years or so.
I have 2. If keith McKellar had not made a show-stgin catch of a 1 yard pass during that last drive, we would have had time for 2 or 3 more plays. Also, the fact that the Giants controlled the ball for 40 minutes indicts our third-down defense.

Wow, Rick is getting on. Irv, Rick and (Commander)Tom with the "Weather Outside" man, that brings back memories. WKBW - Sandy Beach and Danny Nevereath (sp). Captain Mike and Buttons the Cabin Boy, "It is nine o'clock, it is nine o'clock, here we are on deck and it's nine o'clock" Van Miller doing the sports on WBEN. Time marches on...

OK, Coach - I checked. the Jag-Wires are the only similarly dissed team with a 9-7 record which will not appear on MNF. Meanwhile, Dallas (x2), and Washington at 6-10 will appear, as will KC and Carolina at 7-9, and New Orleans, Minnesota and St. Louis at 8-8. Who loves 'ya baby!

I didn't have time to check the entire schedule, but are there any teams which had winning records last year that are NOT on Monday Night Football - other than the Bills?

...the thing that struck me was how loaded that team was. Filled with playmakers in all three units. And the games they won that year...the comeback vs. Denver, 24-0 first quarter lead vs. the Iggles, winning the division vs. Dieami, the memorable home playoff games vs. the Felons and the Faiders. It's just a shame that they couldn't close the deal in Tampa and win the whole thing.
We may never see the likes of that '90 Bills team again. That was a special year.
All those All-Pros - Ritcher and Wolford, Reed, Thomas and Kelly, Bruce, Conlan, Talley and Bennett, Tasker - what a special group of players. And Marv "When it's too tough for them - IT'S JUST RIGHT FOR US"

The Travel Channel goes to the Home of the Chicken Wing at 10 pm on Tuesday for the show "Made in America"......good PR for WNY......set your TIVO or watch it live! MADE IN AMERICA GOES TO BUFFALO
Our local PBS station showed a one hour documentary on the "Churches of Buffalo" last night. Very impressive, especially in HD. St. Stan's, St. Louis, Lady of Victory Basilica, UNitarian, St. Paul's, First Episcopal, etc.

Uncle Sam's - that takes me back. Saw a group there back in 68 or 69 - they called themselves the Chicago Transit Authority. Heard they shortened their name shortly after that. Hmm....

WOW...Now there's a blast from the past.
While wondering about all the stores that have come and gone, how the heck does Valu hardware stay open. They never have more than 6 cars in any store lot at one time. Yet they have outlived Grossmans, Chase Pitkin, Builders Square & Busy Beaver. I'm not sure how they are going to survive in the long run against Home Depot & Lowes.
The owners of Valu hardware are very smart people. They have been parking at Hammer's Lot ll for over 30 years. Dumb people do not park at Hammer's Lot ll.
Bulk advertising for a lot of stores, I also believe they have kept their cost down by expanding their stores with money in hand, no loans= no interest cost.

Anyone with RW's kind of jack does some serious estate planning to try and keep the tax-man at bay. I am sure that contingencies exist for all possible scenarios. But, you can't do much estate planning after you go toes up, so the smart thing to do is sell the team before he passes with him retaining some life estate ownership interest that terminates on his death. Not surprised that his heirs want to cash out on what has turned out to be a marvelous investment, when you consider his franchise cost him $25k, and is now worth at least 1000 times that.
