  1. To think we could have had Warner instead of Edmunds....
  2. With Kelces emotional outbursts.....gotta watch out for Taylor. She may have a black eye tomorrow.
  3. Yep. Allen had basically the greatest post season run statistically the year of the 13 seconds game. Brady didn't approach those stats during his super bowl runs for a stretch of post season games and neither did Manning. The difference is both teams had a defense that could bail them out at different points, especially at times when the offenses looked bad (Manning had poor statistical post seasons both years he won the Super Bowl and Brady had some poor statistical games where the run game and defense carried him) , while Allen couldn't even rely on his defense to stop the Chiefs for 13 seconds one year and on his defense to even sack or INT Mahomes once. McDermott still had first round picks playing on the defensive line against the Chiefs this year and our top secondary players playing and couldn't sack or INT Mahomes ones. Year in and year out McDermott is given more resources for his defense than the offense gets and yet without Allen pulling so many wins out of his ass, we would be terrible record wise. Hell Allen left the field 4x with the lead this year for the Bills defense to then blow every game at the end.
  4. Gall bladder pain perhaps? If it's abdominal pain on the right and left it can be...
  5. Hopefully he gets a 2-10 year prison sentence like the average person would get. Being a Mahomes though, dude is probably going to get the same favoritism that Pat gets on the field...
  6. I wonder if the colder weather mixed with Allen throwing the ball hard plays a role in it. Catching a cold football hurts sometimes.
  7. I've been going to anywhere from 2-8 (on average) games a year since 2001 with the exception of 2020 and 2021 due to COVID and 2015 due to being out of the country for a good part of it. The Josh Allen years (I can see in my ticket History) 2018 Season - 1-1 (win against the Jaguars and loss against New England) 2019 Season - 2-2 (Bills wins against Washington and the Broncos and losses against Ravens and Eagles) 2022 Season 1-1 (Bills win at Baltimore and loss at Jets) 2023 Season - Bills 7-1 (wins against the Raiders, Commanders, Dolphins, Giants Buccaneers, Patriots and Steelers. Loss against the Eagles) So 11-4
  8. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Edwards_(gridiron_football)#:~:text=Edwards was chosen by the,Hawaii during Pro Bowl week. Considering players have had their careers ruined due to pro bowl events.....I say golf Allen golf!
  9. Lions going to Lion this game away. As someone who supports the Packers as my NFC team (when not supporting the Bills), I am loving the Lions being put in their place. I cannot stand the thought of that poverty franchise getting a super bowl before us. The Bills are a super bowl team in the NFC
  10. Lamar Jackson. Like Allen, Jackson was largely underrated in the draft and basically blew away the doubters expectations of him, proving that many of the so called draft "experts" dont deserve their jobs. Jackson and Allen were the two QBs I had most highly rated in that draft year (2018) and having lived in the Baltimore tv market for some time before moving back to Buffalo, ive always rooted for him. Ravens are pretty much the team I root for if they are not playing the Bills so pulling hard for him to get his ring. I want him to really out play Mahomes today so I can throw it in stupid Chiefs fans faces that Lamar > Mahomes since all that matters for that fanbase is a QB winning for deciding who's better and not surrounding team (it's my argument Allen out played Mahomes in two playoff games and was the better QB but Mahomes had the better team around him which is why he won). I hate the rest of the AFC. I don't care for either NFC QB playing. Only NFC team I care about is the Packers (was a big Favre fan years ago and really like how Love has come along - Packers are the only other team I root for at all) so if Ravens lose, I honestly don't give a ***** except "anyone but Mahomes" winning.
  11. They weren't all on crutches though. Our first round picks (Oliver, Rousseau) on the defensive line as well as key free agent signing (Miller) all played. Zero sacks on Mahomes. Injuries cannot be blamed there. Hyde, and Poyer key guys. No ints and frequently let Kelce run wide open. Every playoff team is dealing with injuries. What we saw was consistent crap play from a McDermott defense against the Chiefs in the playoffs. In three playoff games against Mahomes, our defense has failed to sack him and failed to intercept him. It's coaching that's the problem. We let guys run wide open just like we did during the 13 second game when we were healthy. McDermott is the constant weak link.
  12. Aaron Schobel. Multiple pro bowler, had a significant games played/started streak, put up consistent sack numbers, and sacked Brady the most out of any player. Dude was the definition of a high motor impactful player that was largely underappreciated during the drought era.
  13. Belichick has many moments. 1.) His defensive game plan used while DC for the Giants to shut down the Bills offense in the super bowl is in the hall of fame. Giants were definitely the underdog in that game with a backup QB going up against one of the best offenses of the era. When has McDermotts defense ever come up so big in a big game against a top offense like this? 2.) As head coach, beating the Greatest Show on Turf Rams in the Super Bowl 20-17 when New England was a significant underdog is another example. His defensive blue print for that game was similar to what was used against the Bills in the super bowl. Brady wasn't really responsible for that win. His stats were mediocre. The defense played a huge role there and in even getting there (Brady didn't throw for many TD passes the whole post season). When has McDermotts defense ever come up so big in a big game against a top offense like this? 3.) Beating the Rams again in a super bowl 13-3 where his defense made the Rams offense that looked so great that year look like *****. When has McDermotts defense ever come up so big in a big game against a top offense like this? 4.) Repeated victories against the Colts led by Manning in the playoffs where his defenses brutalized and shut down the best offense in the league over and over (where as McDermott cannot stop Mahomes with top picks throughout the defense - Belichick got it done with a wide receiver, Troy Brown, playing corner due to injuries) McDermott has no comparable record to that greatness. Andy Reid and the Chiefs beating a top 49ers defense in the Super Bowl would be an example for him. That 49ers defense was an all time great and Reid's scheming allowed Mahomes to torch them. Meanwhile, the Bills cannot beat the Chiefs when it counts.
  14. His defensive coaching against Lamar and the Ravens in the 2020 playoffs win against them was great. Shutdown a Pro Bowl caliber QB who routinely burned opponents to 3 points. McDermott seems to have the Ravens number (beat them in 2022 too). That win in 2020 got us to the AFC title game. Allen didn't do much that game. Other than that, nothing. Allen has carried us in other post season victories.
  15. Patriots still have their rings. Most teams who have won super bowls in the past have cheated to some extent. See another example with the 49ers and Rice. I don't see people taking away their trophies either but I have seen their fans all trashing us for no rings. Just win baby I say. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/jerry-rice-admits-to-cheating-says-everyone-did-it
  16. I'd much rather have a cut throat win at all costs culture that crosses lines if need be to get a Super Bowl (like the Patriot way with Brady) seeing all the Patriots got was a slap on the wrist....Seems like we have guys who don't go as hard as they should at times to win and they are kept around due to misguided loyalty and "character" and this "family" environment the Pegula's want. Dawkins runs his mouth alot but again got ran over on a key play in the post season to cause Allen to miss Shakir. Miller would have been cut under the Patriot way or pushed out a while ago. Alot of our defensive players seem to mail it in based on the crap play we saw again against KC. The team flat out quit against the Bengals last year. Give me head hunter types like the Rodney Harrison's who will make everyone play harder by going balls to the wall in practice and games. We lack that edge on defense and on the team. If money wasn't an issue, the Pegulas would dump McDermott and bring in Belichick who has gotten super bowls. Our way isn't working.
  17. I agree. I think the Pegula's are content with the mediocrity and not taking the next step to change our culture because firing McDermott has the potential to backfire and get you a worse coach and worse team culture. The Chargers fired Schottenheimer because he couldn't get over the hump in the playoffs and the Chargers regressed for the most part with Norv Turner. Because the Pegula's are already making money hand over fist with the currently company culture, which is winning to an extent, and because breaking McDermotts contract to go out and hire a more proven winner would eat into profits, I think the Pegula's are content to let McDermott continue pushing his failed team culture that cannot get the super bowl Bills fans deserve. The Pegula's are not all in for winning. We have seen the Chargers go all in by firing a failed coach to bring in a new culture with Harbaugh that has a better track record than McDermott. We have seen the Patriots do it in the past when they fired Pete Carroll who kept losing in playoff games and bright in Belichick. We saw the Bucs do it with Dungy (who failed repeatedly in the playoffs) when they brought in Gruden who won a super bowl his first season. The Pegula's are becoming fat and lazy and don't want to really push a winning culture.
  18. Terry Bradshaw was not a great QB. Dude got carried by the Steel curtain Steelers defense. Eli Manning wasn't a great QB either. His defense is the big reason why he won his super bowls. Allen and Marino have put up better statistical games in the post season but don't have super bowl wins because their teams were worse at each given time. Judging a QB by super bowl wins is flawed as many bad QBs have been carried to super bowl wins by awesome teams while better QBs have not gotten Super Bowl wins due to weaker teams. Trent Dilfer got a ring with the 2000 Ravens, one of the best defenses ever. I had a Dolphins fan tell me that Allen is a bum because he hasn't gotten a ring yet and I told that idiot that Dilfer must be the goat then and Marino a bum because "no ring "
  19. Only way drafting so many defenseman is justifiable is if we somehow sign Higgins as a free agent wide receiver. If we draft like this without signing Higgins, fans should refuse to spend money on the team until Pegula becomes a true American patriot and fires both McDermott and Beane.
  20. Harbaugh is the guy who helped coach Kaepernick to a super bowl and another NFC championship. McDermott cannot have such success with a much better QB in Allen. The AFC just got harder while Pegula does nothing. Maybe drafting another corner who doesn't play (Elam) in the first round or another defensive lineman in the first round who cannot sack Mahomes once in multiple playoff games (see Oliver, Rousseau, etc) will get us over the top! Just trust the process and McClappy......Nothing to worry about at all...
  21. One cannot even full blame him as a GM as the Patriots were in cap hell after Brady left in 2019 for a couple years and never had a top pick to grab a QB to get out of it (we are in cap hell with no super bowl trophies due to McDermott and Beane being idiots) The way the league runs now, a very good coach needs a very good QB to consistently win and that usually involves grabbing one early on in the draft. During the drought, the Bills often were mediocre enough to not snag a top QB (one year, 2004, Eli Manning, Rivers and Roethlisberger all went before we took Losman so we never had a chance to really change our franchise then). Beane lucked out that the Bills acquired enough draft capital to move up to grab Allen very early in the draft as without doing so, we would have been in similar mediocrity. Belichick managed to drag Mac Jones to a playoff game and a winning record in another season due to his coaching and his defenses largely being very solid. Injuries and the league figuring Jones out ruined them this year but those same Patriots beat us even though we had more talent. Now the Patriots have a ton of cap room and a top pick to snag a very good QB, Belichick probably would have turned them around if he had stayed. Dude's track record without Brady isn't as bad as people make it out to be. He rebuilt the Browns to a team that could win in the playoffs without Brady in the early 90s before salary cap and free agency allowed for easy quick rebuilds (why it took him a few years). The team announcing it's move killed that project. He has the Patriots at 11-5 with Cassel in 2008. Patriots went 3-1 without Brady during the deflate gate *****. And he got Mac Jones to a playoff game and a solid record the second year after salary cap hell, years of no top draft picks, and COVID retirements killed the roster (Hightower retired early as one example). Dude can still coach the hell out of a defense to finish games (last Patriots super bowl was won by the defense and his defense played very tight this year despite the injuries and despite the offense being a ***** show due to not having had capital to get a good QB). Give him Allen and there's no 13 seconds *****, no Chiefs marching down the field and scoring practically every time, etc (Patriots defense played the Chiefs better this year despite Zappe repeatedly giving them short fields - not reflected in the point total but watch the game). And the dude has hit on key guys as a GM. Judon. Barmore. Dugger. Douglas. Gonzalez. Just some examples.
  22. Mahomes has never been sacked or intercepted by the Bills defense in a playoff game. Anyone who defends McDermott as a good coach after this fact is an idiot. While we had injuries at linebacker, we had two first round picks chosen by McDermott playing defensive line as well as a highly paid free agent he brought in who all failed to sack Mahomes. Premium capital he chose with Beane to invest in a line that failed. Poyer and Hyde were two other McDermott choices who failed to stop Kelce from repeatedly running wide open and failed to make Ints. McDermott is Schottenheimer 2.0. His defenses feast on bad teams. Fail in key playoff games. Allen continues to break NFL records and have near perfect to perfect statistical playoff games and cannot beat the Chiefs because McDermott cannot coach a defense well enough when he is handed so much privilege and power with that side of the ball compared to the offense. Dude should be fired but we have an owner who is apparently an anti American terrorist sympathizer (see McDermotts quotes on 9/11). We need a true American patriot like Bill Belichick to coach us who can coach.
  23. We win the game if Beane had spent the first on Jefferson instead of Diggs. Even when Beane "wins" he loses.
