And to add to your post is how McDermott talked about Power. We need more size and Strength combined with the Quickness and speed. We need a Bigger DT next to Oilver and depth past that. We must get a DE that can produce consistent pressure. Honestly, I want a DT next to Oliver who can yes stop the run, but pressure up the middle. Pressure up the middle is what got to Brady and Mahomes both. I am ok Extending Groot, but we need more help at the other DE spot. Ray-Ray McCloud - 5’9” 190 lbs Crap Austin Proehl - 5’10” 175 lbs Crap Marquez Stevenson - 5’10” 180 lbs Crap Khalil Shakir - 6’0” 190 lbs Bases loaded Home run, for a slot WR. Gabe Davis - 6’2” 225 lbs 4.54 Good, if he had any consistency and stopped the drops, he would still be here. Isaiah Hodgins - 6’3” 200 lbs 4.61 Crap Justin Shorter - 6’4” 223 lbs 4.55 Crap Keon Coleman - 6’3” 215 lbs 4.61 Yet to be decided. Not great evaluation on his part. The flip side is he can flat nail it on most FA Additions.

I look at Colemans limitations physically then his production and I see it as a fail to this point. For all him being funny, he didn't produce the way we felt he should. I look at other WR's taken, Esp. BTJ who we could have traded up for, and his season was a disappointment. The greatest disappointment, which was highlighted by McDermott, is how he responded after injury. This isn't College, you gotta toughen up and play through. But we will see. As Beane said today, he is just 21, but a 2nd season of not producing and its not going to be pretty.

But teams will adjust this year. We still need help on the outside.

The only Magic needs to happen with our DL, because its not even close to being what we need. One thing McDermott said that no one has mentioned is they talked Speed on the Defense. But he said speed + small = no. He wants power, he wants size plus speed.

Davis is a rookie. Both Davis and Johnson pass block better, Johnson is our 3rd down back. So to counter your argument, why wasn't cook on the field the last drive of the AFCCG? Because he isn't the best pass catching back. Also, it took Cook 17 games just to barely break 1000 yards, and that isnt good. He isn't worth it. The draft is loaded with guys who could start, and I still say Davis can start and do well in this league.
